Narrator Pov

"Tae, I- I think someone's inside!" Y/n stuttered. He immediately held her hand, "I'm here alright. Just stay behind me." He whispered softly and she nodded, worry etched on her face.

Holding her hand in a firm grip, Taehyung turned around and grabbed the closest thing he could find in the dark before moving forward and opening the door cautiously.

They couldn't see anything as it was pitch black but almost immediately they had to squint their eyes due to the bright lights blinding them all of a sudden.

"Congratulations!~" They heard screams followed by confetti sprinkled at them.

"Hyungs!"

"Lisa! Jiminie!"

Taehyung and Y/n said in unison, startled, shock taking over their features as they totally did not expect to see them here.

"How did you guys get in?" Taehyung chuckled in surprise as he walked inside, still trying to process the whole thing. His question made their eyes dart to Jimin. "Well let's say I have my ways?" Jimin smirked, shrugging his shoulders while sending a wink to Taehyung.

"Yah! Jimin, we have a lot to talk." Taehyung shot a glare towards him causing Jimin to immediately raise his hands up. "Sorry not sorry Tae. I had to go with that plan to make sure you wouldn't come home."

At that moment, Lisa caught Y/n staring at her giving a look as if she just realized her cause of absence which made her sheepishly smile causing Y/n to shake her head with a smile.

"Wait. Why are you holding a flower pot?" Jhope asked in confusion after noticing what Taehyung had in hand, making the others look confused too.

"We heard a crash so we thought someone had broken in!" Taehyung answered, placing it on the floor, sighing. "This was what we could find in the dark." Y/n added.

"Aish, that must have surely been Namjoon!" Jin sighed, shaking his head. "Where is he?" He furrowed his eyebrows, looking around when he didn't see him.

"I'm here." All eyes followed to the person they were looking for who emerged from the back of the couch, a nervous smile plastered on his face with a plate broken in pieces in his hands. Jin shook his head in disappointment.

"God of destruction indeed." Yoongi muttered and the others nodded in agreement.

Y/n softly closed the door before joining the rest in the living room. Her eyes widened seeing the variety of food being placed on the table.

"Did Jin oppa cook all of these?" She looked at Lisa who had an arm around her. "Yess!" She nodded with a big grin on her face.

Y/n was about to complain that they've taken so much trouble doing a lot when a knock was heard at the door.

"I'll get it." Taehyung said as he rose from the couch to open the door. "Ah! That must be-" Jimin was cut off when Taehyung opened the door, "Jungle book?" He mumbled, seeing Jungkook standing there with bags of snacks and drinks in hand.

"Kookie!" Y/n waved with a surprised smile as she didn't expect to see him at the door.

What is he doing here? Taehyung stared at him with a blank expression.

He felt that same uneasiness settling inside him again. It's not that he despised Jungkook but he was feeling insecure. Insecure that he might loose Y/n.. But he shoved that negative thought at the back of his mind because he knows that both of them love and trust each other and that's all what matters.

There was an awkward silence. Others sharing glances, not knowing what was happening or what to do. Y/n was looking at the two, nervousness settling in her stomach as she wondered what Taehyung's next move would be because it was clear that he wasn't fond of Jungkook.

But then she heaved a sigh and smiled when she saw Taehyung stepping aside for Jungkook to enter before shutting the door close.

"Yah! It's Jungkook!" Jimin sighed in frustration as Taehyung never called his name right. "Whatever." Tae muttered as he plopped back on the couch.

"I got back a little late, didn't I?" Jungkook chuckled as he placed the snacks and drinks he bought from the convenience store on the table before sitting in between Y/n and Jimin.

"Yah! What's all this?" Y/n asked pointing at what Jungkook had brought, feeling a tad bit guilty that they've spent a lot.

"You guys have prepared so much! Actually we are supposed to give you a treat, not the other way round!" She exclaimed, glancing at Taehyung who nodded.

"So what?" Jimin shrugged his shoulders. "We wanted to do this!" Jhope grinned. "Just enjoy this mini celebration Y/n. It's for you guys!" Namjoon smiled.

"Anyway we wanted a party for ourselves too cause we were so frustrated thinking when you guys would decipher the feelings you had for each other-" Suga sighed, laying on the cushion. "-and finally when Jimin told us, we were so relieved and happy." Jin finished, smiling afterwards.

Taehyung and Y/n shared a glance before chuckling, a slight blush adorning their faces.

"Guys!" Lisa clapped. "Why don't we start eating? Aren't y'all starving?" Lisa groaned, holding her tummy and the others laughed when they heard a grumble from Jungkook's stomach.

While eating Taehyung noticed Jimin smirking at him which made him raise his eyebrow in confusion. He dismissed it and continued to munch but what he said made him choke on his food.

"You know, it was so funny to see Taehyung all jealous when he sees Y/n and Jungkook together and whenever I asked him, he denies it." Jimin smirked, "He used to even follow wherever you guys went!" Jimin  laughed seeing Taehyung's red face and immediately shut up when he received a death glare from him.

You have given me enough reasons to kill you Park Jimin. Aish! So embarrassing! Taehyung frowned and internally cried when he felt her eyes on him.

"Jinjja?" Y/n's eyes widened glancing at Taehyung who was seated across her, avoiding her gaze as he felt embarrassed.

So this is why he gets all worked up. She thought as she shook her head, smiling.
Why is he so cute?

"Taehyung, I'm sorry you felt that way. She's my dear friend whom I adore a lot." Jungkook smiled as he squished Y/n's cheeks which brought a small smile on Taehyung's face.

"Yah! What about me then?" Lisa huffed in a fake angry tone which made Jungkook chuckle, "Yeah yeah, I adore you too." He playfully rolled his eyes.

"Jungkookie, you will have to adore me and your hyungs too!" Jimin winked, slinging an arm around his neck.

"Hmmm... I'll think about that." He joked, making the others laugh out loud and Jimin smacked the back of his head. And that's how their evening was spent: with laughter, jokes and them goofing around.

Y/n Pov

Right after dinner, the boys decided to watch a movie. Half way through Jhope, the Busan boys and Taehyung started complaining as to who finished the popcorn fast and were bickering to one another to go get more which none of them did, too lazy to.

Sighing, I shook my head and stood up. "I'll get more popcorn and snacks!" I said, shushing the boys before taking the bowl from Jhope and heading towards the kitchen.

While waiting for the kernels to pop, Lisa came to the kitchen. "I'm so happy to know that my secret ship is finally sailing!" She exclaimed, making me immediately turn around at her words to see her doing a mini celebratory dance.

"What? Secret ship? You've been shipping us?" My eyes widened when she nodded with a wink. "For a long time." She nodded while grabbing some other snacks from the labelled basket.

"I had to keep my mouth zipped and not tell you about Taehyung's feelings because I wanted it to be a pleasant surprise for you." She smiled. "You knew too? Yah!" I glared as she laughed before taking the bowl of popcorn from the microwave and setting it on the counter.

"Anyway, how does it feel to be Tae's lover?" Lisa walked closer, wiggling her eyebrows. I chuckled and smiled afterwards, a slight blush creeping once again, "Euphoric."

"Uwuuuu" She cooed, bear hugging me. "You deserve it best friend!" I smiled, returning the big hug.

"Ah yes!-" Lisa started and I pulled away to look at her with a questioning look. "-we can officially say goodbye to that little deal of ours we've had all long. There's obviously no use since Taehyung has changed for good and you guys are together now."

"No more free food from each other." I mumbled sadly and she pouted. "But the bet was fun till it la-"

"Bet? What are you guys talking about?" A deep voice spoke.
