Y/n Pov.

It was currently 8p.m. and I was just flicking through channels on t.v., having nothing to do. Taehyung wasn't at home, he was at a class and will be returning back late.

"There's nothing to watch" I sighed as I continued switching through random boring channels until I stopped at a nameless movie. It seemed like a family related one.

"Let's watch this" I mumbled as I laid back on the couch. A few minutes later, the movie became weird. The sudden cheerful, happy aura was suddenly transformed into a dark, eerie, creepy atmosphere, which made me gulp in realization.

"Am I watching horror?" I gasped in shock. I do watch them but not all alone without anyone in an empty house!

As I was about to switch it off, a creak was heard in the corner making me freeze.

Wh-what was t-that? I gulped, my breath quickening as my head turned to the direction of that noise, but there wasn't anything.

It's nothing.. nothing. I shook my head and turned my focus back to the t.v. which was black all of a sudden.

Wha-

Suddenly a black figure -with bloodshot eyes- sprang up on t.v. and at the same time I felt a hand being placed on my shoulder, followed by a loud scream which made me also scream with it in fright.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" I screamed in unison with the unknown thing behind me.

"Go away!" I screamed standing on the couch, closing my eyes while swatting that hand over and over again in horror.

In the midst of it, I heard a roar of laughter. Not a high pitched creepy laugh but a deep, melodious one.

Why does it sound awfully familiar.. I thought as I creased my eyebrows. It sounds like-

I opened my eyes to see-

"KIM TAEHYUNG!" I exclaimed as he was almost on the floor laughing his head off while clutching his tummy.

Was I just pranked?

"Th-at was f-fun!" He said between laughs as he saw me looking dumbfounded.

How could he and fun?!

"I will kill you!" I death stared at him and the next moment he was being chased around the couch. I was able to grab his arm and yank him towards me.

"How could you do that! I was so frightened, you idiot!" I hit him repeatedly. "And you call this fun?" I exclaimed as he had that grin etched on his face.

Oh how much I wanted to smack that off his face at a time like this!

"Yah! Who told you to watch horror if you're scared?" He arched a brow. "I didn't know I was watching one until then- there wasn't anything else to watch anyway!" I reasoned out still shaking slightly.

All of a sudden he held my arms, made me walk backwards before placing me on the couch with him beside me.

He must have noticed my questioning look which made him say, "I'm sorry for scaring you. Let's watch something else to ease you down."

"Now that I'm here there'll be something interesting to watch." He winked, grabbing the remote, making me roll my eyes in return muttering, "as if."

"Wait- how come I didn't see you?" I frowned.

"You were so into the movie that you didn't realize me creeping in." He chuckled, changing channels before stopping at one which had a famous drama playing. "Told ya!" He cheered.

How come he's right? No wonder he is always confident.

"I'm going to change. I'll be right back." He said as he got up and walked to his room.

I sighed.

Why do I always get caught to this brat's mischievous tricks? I shook my head.

Taehyung came back soon and what he did next made my breath hitch. "W-what are you-u d-doing?" I stammered, eyes wide open as he was getting all comfortable laying on my lap.

"Let's stay like this." He whispered looking up into my eyes which made me just nod in a daze, feeling my heart beat faster.

When Taehyung's attention was on the t.v., I found myself unknowingly studying his facial features. While doing so, my mind suddenly drifted to his change of behaviour over the last couple of days, which was quite unexpected.

He had dumped a girl a few days back which was normal as he usually does this to his hook ups after a week, but it was quite surprising to all when he started avoiding them as well.

Which made me wonder, What was the reason for this change of behaviour?

He has also been attentive in class, which was another shock to all of us, especially to the professors.

Anyway what ever it is, this is a positive change. I'm happy for him. I smiled.

Narrator Pov.

While Y/n was lost in her thoughts, her fingers unconsciously caressed Taehyung's hair, which made him look up at her with an amused smile.

He knew she was in her own world and he wouldn't let this pass without teasing her.

"Done staring?" She snapped out of her thoughts to see a smirking Taehyung and realized that she had been mindlessly staring at him all this time. Her eyes widened even more, noticing where her fingers laid.

"I- wasn't-" She was about to withdraw her hand from his silky hair, but he stopped her by placing his own hand on top, which made her blush lightly.

She didn't know why, but she enjoyed this feeling of having his hand placed on top of her own.

"Then why were your eyes on me?" He asked with a teasing smile.

"N-no reason." Was her answer, as she did not want to deal with his teasing if she told him that he was consuming her thoughts.

But that didn't stop him.

"You were thinking about how handsome I am, weren't you?" He asked with a smug smile, to which she shook her head having enough.
Not again.

"I know I'm hard to resist." He winked. Ignoring her heart that skipped without her notice, she looked up to watch the drama. But she couldn't focus as she felt Taehyung staring intently at her, which made her look at him.

Why is he staring like that?

Taehyung held his gaze and smiled softly when her eyes met his and that made Y/n's heart skip multiple times as she found herself drowning into those mesmerizing pair of brown eyes.

It was like a never ending galaxy in there. So captivating.

She couldn't figure what his eyes were radiating. Unable to look into his eyes any longer, she quickly broke her gaze, feeling flustered.

"I-I need t-to go sleep. I have a long day tomorrow." She managed to say before she hastily stood up, causing his head to fall on the couch with a thump.

"Yah! My neck hurts!" She heard him groan as she speed walked to her room, slamming it shut right after, with her back pressed against it.

"What was that?" She asked herself as she replayed Taehyung's intense stare which made her blush.

"Why is it beating so fast? I need to calm down." She said as she placed her right hand on her chest, feeling it racing.

Deep down she did like this feeling but she quickly dismissed the thought, thinking that her heart was acting in a silly manner and decided to go to bed.

She was about to go to sleep, when she heard a small knock on her door followed by Taehyung saying, "Sweet dreams... I hope I'm in them!" -with a giggle.

This idiot. He loves to tease me, doesn't he? She sighed, closing her eyes with a smile after hearing his footsteps leaving the door.
