Y/n and Taehyung were jamming to Big Bang's 'Fantastic baby' in the midst of cleaning their messy and dusty living room which had been ignored for weeks.

They say playing music boosts you up to work faster but these two were jamming so much that they have forgotten about the cleaning.

Taehyung sang while standing up on the couch dancing, oh so weirdly which made Y/n laugh her head off as it was quite entertaining to watch.

"T-Tae -- hahaha-- s-stop-- hahaha" Y/n who had her hands on her knees managed to say between laughs.

He stopped and laughed along with her when the song ended. The way she laughed made him look at her in amusement.

Happiness is what Taehyung felt. He was happy that he was the cause of her laugh.

Beautiful.

Taehyung immediately widened his eyes when he realised what he had thought.

"Why are your eyes wide?" Y/n asked looking at him weirdly.

Taehyung just shrugged his shoulders.

"We have a little more to finish!" Y/n huffed and sighed having all her energy drained by laughing.

"Let's finish--" Taehyung was cut off when his phone started ringing.

Fishing it out from his jean pocket he read the caller ID and it was non other than Eunha.

Why is she calling me? He furrowed his eyebrows.

"What?" was the first thing he said when he accepted the call.

"Where?"

That's when he remembered that he had plans with her today.

"I'm coming" he said and hung up.

I totally forgot. Taehyung thought.

"Y/n I forgot. I have to meet Eunha today" he said looking at her with guilt.

"Oh, so what are you waiting for? Hurry and go" she said.

"But--"

"Don't worry Tae I will finish this up!" She smiled. "Just a little more to be done anyway" she shrugged her shoulders.

He felt guilty to leave her like that to finish the rest all by herself. He had to go because Eunha is already creating a scene there not seeing her 'oppa' yet.

"I'll make it up for you" he said walking towards the door.

"There's no n--" she was interrupted when he yelled "I'll treat you for ice cream this evening!"

"Yah! You are paying alright?" She glared at him not forgetting about what happened before.

"Yeah yeah" Taehyung laughed. "Just wait for me at your workplace okay?"

"Okay. Now go before she creates a ruckus wherever she is!" She gestured him to go quick.

He waved as he shut the door behind him.

The place suddenly grew quite. Deep inside Y/n wished that he didn't go.

Aish! What am I thinking? She quickly shook her head and proceeded to finish cleaning as fast as possible.

"Let's do this!" She motivated herself.

Y/n Pov

Currently I was at my part time job. It was a bit tiring since a lot of customers have suddenly decided to show up. And to top it all it was only me and Areum at work today.

Eomeoni had gone for some business and Sungwoo was having an after class today.

Just half an hour more and you will be done Y/n!

While preparing a customers order, Areum stood beside me.

"It's so tiring today!" She sighed and I nodded.

"I got permission to leave early since I have a small occasion tonight." She said as I turned around to pass the order to the customer.

"Is it alright if I leave now?" She asked in a worried tone when I turned back.

"Yeah it's totally fine! Taehyung will show up in a few minutes. So don't worry I'll make sure to close this place." I smiled.

Areum knows that Taehyung's my best friend. She has seen him when he had walked me to work one day.

"Oh! That's a relief!" She exhaled. "Thank you so much Y/n!" She smiled.

"It's nothing! Have fun tonight!" I grinned and she thanked me again.

It was time to close, so I cleaned up and waited for Tae to show up.

"Let's go!" He came smiling inside, not long after. I nodded and walked beside him after locking the place up and burying the key in one of the plant pots just the way eomeoni told us to do in case she was away.

"So how was your day?" I asked while walking in the direction of the ice cream parlour.

Tae just shrugged his shoulders muttering a "boring" under his breath.

"Not surprising!" I laughed and received a glare in return.

We reached our destination after passing a few blocks. Pushing the entrance door, we were welcomed by the cashier.

"Good evening. What would you like to have?" He asked.

"I'll go for the chocolate chip cookie dough" I whispered to Tae and he nodded.

"Two chocolate chip cookie dough" He said and fished out his wallet to get the cash.

Tae carried the ice cream cones while I searched for a place to sit. After we settled ourselves near a window he passed mine to me.

"Thank you Tae!" I beamed and started devouring the delicious treat.

Taehyung Pov

I smiled and nodded when she thanked me.

Cute.

"This is so delicious!" she moaned savouring the taste.

"Yeah. This is my favourite!" I said while licking mine.

"It's extra delicious since it's free of charge" she grinned.

Wow. This girl.

I just rolled my eyes playfully.

There was a moment of silence as we were in our own little worlds with the ice cream in hand.

I just looked up and caught Y/n staring at me but she immediately looked away.

What was that?

I was about to ask her but stopped when I saw the evening rays illuminating her face which made her look oh so beautiful.

Why haven't I seen this before?

"What's wrong?" I was snapped out of my little trance when she asked me.

That's when I realised that I have been staring for too long.

Shit.

Say something!

"N-no I was just busy thinking about how handsome I am" I replied.

Not bad. I smirked.

"Nevermind" she rolled her eyes playfully and continued to finish her ice cream which made me laugh.

Little did both know that they were been admired by each other for the same thing awhile ago.
