A week later

It was another boring day at college. Taehyung wasn't in class again. It had become a habit after he started hooking up with Eunha.
Y/n was worried that he was constantly missing his classes.

He shouldn't be playing around like this..

She thought as she shook her head trying to concentrate on what the professor was saying.

Y/n had to work an extra hour at the Coffee House last evening. Not that she was forced but her kind self volunteered to, since her owner had some urgent business to attend.

And now she's here barely awake in class.

"...and this will be your topic for research" The professor said as he wrote it on the board.

Suddenly there was a knock before it opened revealing an unfamiliar handsome, tall guy.

"We have a new student who will be joining here this semester" The professor announced. "Pls introduce yourself" she said.

He wore a white shirt, blue jeans and brown timberlands.
His hair was brown and his jawline was the most prominent feature. When it came to his brown doe eyes something screamed 'familiar' to Y/n.
This immediately woke her up.

Why do his eyes seem familiar? She wondered.

"Hey I'm Jungkook and I hope we'll get along well." He smiled, his teeth resembled a cute bunny.

Y/n was still wondering whether she knew him until his eyes suddenly stopped at her. That's when her eyes widen in realization.

It's him! It's definitely him! Her inner self screamed.
The masked guy who saved me that night!

She followed his movements as he sat beside her. "Based on your expressions it does seem like you do recognize me" he smiled.

"Y-yeah" She nodded.

Since he wore a mask that day it was only his eyes that she memorized.

"We meet again Y/n" he said his bunny tooth smile on display.

"In a better situation Jungkook." She completed the sentence as both of them smiled widely.

Y/n Pov

"...and this is our last stop!" I told Jungkook as we reached the college grounds and he hummed.

After class he asked me to accompany him around college since I was the only one he knew for now.

Checking the time on my wristwatch I gasped, I was getting late for work. Just as much I wanted to spend time with him, I had to rush.

"Jungkook I'm sorry, I got to go. I'm getting late for my job" I pouted.

"Oh it's okay" he turned to me with a sad expression.

I feel bad..

"I would have walked you but I was asked to visit the administration in a few minutes" he said.

"Oh that's fine Kookie!" I smiled shaking my head and he froze.

Why is he blushing? I furrowed my brows.

My eyes widened when I realized what I said. Shit.

Now it was my turn to freeze in embarrassment.

What did I call him?! Did I just make a nickname? Y/nnn you dumbnut!
My inner voice was screaming in embarrassment.

"U-uh I d-didn't mean to" I squeeked.

Great. He surely thinks I'm a weirdo now.

He chuckled "No, I like that." And ruffled my hair before muttering 'cute'.

I smiled awkwardly looking at him.

"Aren't you getting late?" He asked.

"Oh yeah!" I almost forgot!

"I'll see you tomorrow!" He waved smiling at me.

I mirrored his smile, gave a quick wave and sprinted off after saying, "See you Kookie!"

A few hours later. (evening)

As I stepped out of Coffee House after saying my goodbyes to Eomeoni, Areum and Sungwoo, my mind went back to Jungkook while walking down the street.

I didn't expect to meet him again and who would have thought he will have a handsome face behind that mask?
Definitely not me.

He seems to be a friendly person and when he smiles it's so cute cuz it resembles a cute bunny.

I wanted to introduce him to Lisa but she was absent. Jimin had to go back to Busan again and Taehyung was nowhere to be found.

Speaking of Taehyung he was missing the whole day.

Where did he go? I frowned as I kicked a stone.

Can't wait to tell him about Jungkook! I smiled.
He would be happy to know about the guy who saved me. I thought.

As I reached home and unlocked the door, I saw Taehyung laying on the couch watching T.V.

"Hey Y/nnn!" He said with his boxy smile plastered on his face.

"Yah! Where were you today?" I asked approaching him.

"I didn't feel like studying." He shrugged his shoulders.

I shook my head.

When does he study anyway?

"Anyways guess what?" I started as I sat beside him gaining his attention.

"A new student joined our class!" I said and he faced me.

"Jinjja? (Really?)" I nodded.

"How does she look?" He asked anticipating my answer with wide eyes and that made me roll my eyes.

Playboy mode active.

"Who said it's a girl?" I sighed.

"It's not?" He asked blankly and I flicked his forehead.

"YAH!" He cried holding his forehead. "My precious forehead" he whined.

"Stop being so dramatic!" I rolled my eyes again.

"His name is Jungkook and--"

"Who cares?"  My words were cut off by him.

"Listen without interrupting!" I said in an annoyed tone before continuing "He is the one who saved me that night."

Taehyung looked at me with a 'really?' face which made me nod and he mirrored my action with a 'O'.

"I didn't expect him to look like that." I said after a few seconds of silence.

Taehyung Pov

"I didn't expect him to look like that." She said after awhile.

I know expectations vs reality really sucks.

"Is he that ugly?" I laughed as she glared at me.

"I meant the opposite of ugly you idiot." She said.

Oh.

"He is cute and handsome." She smiled while saying it.

"There's no one cuter and handsome as me" I scoffed.

"Don't be so full of yourself Tae" she said. "He is friendly too."

Y/n has never mentioned about a boy to me like this before.

Deep down I felt something churning  up when she described him,but I immediately shook it off. 
I'm curious to see him.

"Let me see this Junglebook or whatever tomorrow" I said as I walked to the kitchen to find food for dinner.

"Yah! It's Jungkook!" She yelled from behind following me and I shrugged my shoulders muttering a 'whatever' .

"And I promised him to introduce you guys tomorrow." She said as I felt her smile behind me.

"Let's have Ramyeon for dinner" I said as I fished out two packets from the store basket.

"I was thinking of the same thing! I'll make it." She said as she started filling the pot with water.

Since Y/n had a long day she went to sleep right after dinner. I decided to wash up and go to bed as well since there was nothing else to do.

As I laid in my bed, my mind suddenly started playing Y/n's words like a broken record..

'He is cute and handsome. He is cute and handsome. He is cute and handsome. He i--'

Aish! Why am I thinking about that?! Why does it seem like it's bothering me?! I whisper yelled to myself.

Just forget about that and go to sleep Taehyung!

Let's see how 'cute' and 'handsome' that so called Junglebook is.
