Next day
Tae's POV

I walked out of my bathroom with one towel around my waist and another in my hand ruffling my hair dry.

I moved towards the glass balcony door still ruffling my hair and thinking about the 'stolen drugs package' case deeply.

The knock on my door brought me out of my thoughts.

Tae - " Yes!"

I said turning my body towards the door.

Ahjumma - " Doryeon-nim.....jimin- shi is here to meet you."

Tae - " Send him in ahjumma!"

I announced throwing the towel on the bed and walking towards the closet.

Jimin - " Hey, good morning!"

Jimin said as he entered the room.

Tae - " Hmm.... morning!"

I said fiddling through my closet, whereas Jimin made himself comfortable on the couch.

Jimin - " I heard you have some modelling work in the afternoon, so I thought it's better to come here now and talk with you!"

He murmured while lighting up his cigarette.

(A/n - It's fictional...this DOESN'T mean BTS  members smoke in reality too.
It's just a story so treat it like one.
And even if they do, it's their personal matter🤷🏻‍♀️)

Tae - "Good, cause I have one ad shoot..so I will probably be busy till the evening!"

I informed while sliding my legs into a loose jogger pants and and my upper body into a hoodie

Then I made my way towards the bed and sat down .

Jimin - " here"

Jimin offered me a cigarette.

Tae - " So?"

I asked taking a puff of my cigarette.

Jimin - " I got the photocopy of the CCTV footage of that area!"

I nodded

Jimin - " I didn't found anything unusual.... but still I am keeping it for thorough check!"

Tae - " Right, send it to the men for that!"

Jimin gave an assuring nod.

Tae - " My reports are almost ready too...am just waiting for the announcement of the meeting."

I said taking another puff.

Jimin - " Hmm!..... hyung will announce about it soon"

Tae - " I hope so"

Time skip

Director - "Cut!...... A good one sir."

He smiled

I gave a proud nod.

Director - " We'll continue after a break...you can rest sir."

Tae - "Ah! Thanks!"

I said plopping on the chair.  

Y/n's POV

I was standing behind the counter with fingers interwined and was thinking about life in general.

In the past , I was  so busy with stuff that I never really paid attention that how difficult a 'broke and lonely' life could be.

I suddenly remembered the times when I thought  that being a student was difficult !

Ha!

Jokes on me

Because the life after that is the real life where you seriously have to make decisions for yourself.

I really wish Appa or eomma was here with me to guide me through this phase, to tell me if what I am doing now is right or wrong.

I wish!😔

I was staring into space while thinking about this, when I felt my surrounding going completely silent.

I came out of my trance and looked around to find all the people in the shop looking at the door.

I turned towards the door to find the same guy from yesterday entering in.

He suddenly made an eye contact with me making me jolt a little.

Then he looked around and gave people a glare and all of them went back to their chattering.

He slowly came towards me with a smug smile.

And I looked away .

He is Kim Taehyung, a  mafia from the K.D gang , my co-worker told me about him yesterday.
That's why he looked  familiar to me.

So, it's better to keep distance from him.

He came in front of me.

I took a deep breath and looked up with a professional smile

Ara - " Hello Sir, what would you like to order?"

He smirked slightly before saying

Tae - " Woah!...you have a beautiful smile, but I would have preferred it more if it wasn't fake!"

Ara's mind - " What?"

I was taken aback.

Ara's mind - " Why is he being so flirty with me...even yesterday he-"

His eyes  were still staring at me.

Ara's mind - " How the hell he keeps staring at someone for so long?"

Ara - " Sir, what would you like to order?"

I asked again pretending to ignore his previous remark.

He cleared his throat.

Tae - " Well, the same as yesterday!"

I closed my eyes for a second, calming myself

Ara - " Sir.......we have lot of customers here everyday....I am sorry, I don't remember what you ordered last time!"

His smile instantly faded

Tae - " WHAT?....."

He growled making me flinch.

Tae - "How can you forget my order?"

He looked quite offended and intimidating

Ara's mind - " Oh no!....How could I forget he is a mafia!.."

I licked up my dried lips

Ara - " S-sir I -"

Tae - " Nevermind, since you are beautiful I will forgive you!"

He said immediately changing his expression and  again bringing up a smile to his face.

Tae - " It's Americano!"

I immediately nodded

Ara - " Yeah...Americano...just a second sir!"

I quickly order the barista for the Americano.

Tae - " I hope you remember it from now on!"

He said as he collected the cup from me before throwing a wink my way.

Whereas I stood there holding my breath still not over his intimidating face.

As he left the shop I released a big sigh.

Time skip

I took my bag from the locker room and made my way towards the door of the coffee shop.

It was 8pm, my shift was over, so i was leaving for home.

as i walked out of the coffee shop, i looked up to see a tall building across the street.

That building is apparently an office of the production company but everyone knows what happens in the basement of this building.

It is like an all known secret that all the bad works, deals, meetings, fights, plannings etc. of the KD gang , one of the biggest mafia gang of the country are held  in that part of the building.

I felt a sudden loud and fast vibration of my heart looking up at that building.

I immediately looked away from there and walked towards the bus stop to catch the bus for home.
