Tae's POV

Sir Kim - " I want that Damin and that drugs package right in front of me as soon as possible.... otherwise yo-"

He spoke with his gritted teeth but he was cut off by the sound of the door opening.

Both of us turned towards the door, anticipating the person.

And the person did came in to our sight, only for me to roll my eyes and Sir Kim to soften his eyes.

The person was none other than

Kim Yongsun

My half sister, the 'legitimate' child of Sir Kim...

Yongsun - " Appa!"

She exclaimed happily  before walking towards him, completely ignoring my presence.

Sir Kim broke out into a wide smile.

Sir Kim - " Yongsunie!"

He opened his arms embracing his daughter , the one and the only person he truly loves in this world.

With his daughter still in his embrace his eyes met mine, he gave me my pistol and sternly gestured me to leave .

I didn't wasted a single second and left that suffocating place with a clenched jaw.

Yeah, you guessed it right...I am an illegitimate child of Sir Kim and Im Hajoon.

My mother, Im Hajoon was his mistress and was impregnated by him.

But he didn't had the balls to take up the responsibility of his deed.
When he came to know that my mother is going to have me, he threw her out.

You must be thinking, then why am I still here, working under him.

It's only when my mom died of cancer and Sir Kim couldn't have any other male child he decided to bring me back only to bring more torture and suffering in my already dark life.

I exited the lift when it reached the ground floor only to come face to face
with an absolutely stunning man .

Park Jimin

He was standing there as if he waiting for me.

So,as he noticed me he pushed his hands into the pocket of leather pants and took slow steps towards me.

Jimin - " What happened?"

He asked implying to the time in Sir Kim's cabin

I paused my walk,
closed my eyes tightly
and

punched the nearby pillar hard,
to release the anger I was holding in since Sir Kim opened his mouth.

Jimin didn't even flinched as if it was normal to see such a sight.

Well it really was normal to witness me like this after exiting Sir Kim's cabin

After I felt a little calm I opened my eyes and looked towards Jimin who was waiting for my response patiently.

Tae - " He wants Damin and the package soon!"

I said nonchalantly causing Jimin to nod.

With that I resumed my walk outside the building.

Jimin - " So, where are you heading to now?"

Jimin asked walking alongside me.

As I went out, my eyes fell on the coffee shop across the street and I automatically searched for someone in there again.

As if someone poured cold water on my burn , I felt a sudden relaxation when I caught the glimpse of the face I was searching desperately.

Tae - " To have a coffee!"

I answered jimin's previous question.

Jimin - " Oh ok..I will al-......wait what ? Coffee?...since when did you started drinking coffee?"

I looked towards him and faked a smile .

Tae - " Since today!"

I said and walked across the street to the coffee shop.

Author' POV

Tae swiftly made his way inside the coffee shop making few heads turn towards him and why not?...after all he is a handsome mafia cum model.

On the other hand, his eyes ignored everyone but the lady behind the counter, Ara.

As he stood in front of the counter,Ara raised her head to look at him.

She looked at him and paused for a second then squinted her brows as if trying to remember something.

On the other hand Tae had this weird smirk on his face , reason of which was unknown.

Ara - " Good afternoon Sir, what would you like to have?"

She asked him in a monotone with a professional smile

Tae's smirk widened for a second

Tae - " Your number?"

She frowned

Ara - " E-excuse me?"

Tae chuckled

Tae - " An Americano!"

He replied making her confused face go back to normal as she ordered the barista for an Americano.

She turned back to find Tae still standing there gawking at her.

Ara - " Sir, you can sit there and wait till your order is ready!

She told him gesturing towards a seat.

Tae - " No, I would like to wait here, there's no one else in the line anyways.!"

He rebuked.

Ara went silent and confused at his behavior.

There was an awkwardness which only Ara could feel as they both stood there with his eyes on her and her eyes trying all ways to avoid his.

Just then he broke the silence

Tae - " Btw seriously, give me your number!"

He said as if it's the most normal thing to ask a stranger girl.

Ara immediately turned towards him with slightly widened eyes and tried to find any sign of kidding on his face but found none

Tae raised his eyebrows , making her clear her throat .

Ara - "I don't give my number to just anyone!"

She said looking away.

Tae leaned on the counter.

Tae - " Oh! So what I have to do to get your number?"

He asked raising one of his eyebrow.

Just then Ara was called in to get his order which she was very thankful for.

She quickly went in and brought his Americano, she handed it to him without looking at him making him chuckle lowly.

He took his coffee and went out before giving her a last look.

He looked around for a dustbin and threw the coffee there before making his way to his car.

Time skip

Ara was wiping the counter, when jin stood beside her.

Jin - " Hey, aren't you leaving?...your shift is over."

Ara- " Yeah, right ....I was just about to leave."

She said keeping the wiping cloth away and removing her badge.

Jin - " Ummm...do you have any plans later?"

He asked fiddling with the coffee machine

Ara - " Not really....I'll just go home!"

She told nonchalantly.

Jin nodded

Jin - " So let's have a coffee before leaving!"

He asked suddenly making y/n face him .

There was a look of confusion and hesitation on her face which made Jin chuckle a little.

Jin - " It's been a month since you started working and we don't know anything about each other.....let's have a little chat."

He gestured her before pouring two cups of coffee.

She smiled a little and nodded

After they both got seated with there coffee Jin spoke.

Jin - " So....how old are you?"

Ara - " I am 23 !"

Jin - " Oh you are quite young...I am 29!"

She nodded slightly.

Ara - " 29?...umm...what did you majored in?"

Jin - " I majored in acting!"

She made an 'oh' face.

Jin - " you must be thinking a 29 year old man still working in a coffee shop!"

Ara slightly widened her eyes.

Ara - " No no... tha-"

Jin - " it's okay...I am used to it!"

He said with a chuckle

There was a pause of few seconds and Jin resumed

Jin - " You know what?....I used to get really anxious when people used to ask me about my job....I would think they would judge me because I still don't have a proper job..."

He sighed slightly

Jin - " But not anymore....now I believe that these deadlines we have made are just so stupid...I mean why to expect everyone to get well settled job by 25.... everyone is different so it's completely normal if you are still figuring out things until 30 or on."

She blinked her eyes to process what he said.

Ara's mind - "I normally don't think much about these things but now when I think about it whatever he said is right."

He noticed her getting into thoughts and broke the silence

Jin - " Oh...I guess I got into deep conversations."

He chuckled slightly and she smiled

Jin - " Ok, tell me about yourself....you belong to Seoul?"

She nodded

Ara - " Yeah I do! What about you?"

Jin - " I am actually from Gwacheon... getting a break as an actor is easier in Seoul than Gwacheon so I came here!"

She nodded while taking a sip of her coffee.

Jin - " Your parents?"

He asked nonchalantly making her 'cup holding hand' freeze in air.

Jin scrunched his eyebrows at her reaction.

She cleared her throat before speaking.

Ara - " They are no more!"

She mumbled slowly.

Jin made a sorry face

Jin - " I am so sorry...I di-"

He was cut off by Ara's phone ring.

She took out her phone and stood up

Ara - " I am sorry Jin shi...I have to leave....!"

She said apologetically.

Jin - " Ah!..no problem!"

He said standing up along with her.

Ara - " Thanks for the coffee, bye!"

She smiled

Jin - " Bye"

He smiled back.

And with that she left the coffee shop attaching her phone to her ear.
