Tae's POV

Ara was talking about things, while eating her ice cream, but my mind wasn't here.

I was thinking about jungkook.

Tae's mind - " Why was he here?..what was he looking for? He definitely didn't needed to know any address.....what could he be planning?"

Tae - " Hmmm."

I hummed to some question she asked

Tae's mind - " Was he stalking us?...I shouldn't have roamed around here without a mask...especially not with Ara....he knows about Ara now...she is not safe.....I can't let anything happen to her because of my problems....how can I protect her now."

Ara - " Woah...it was amazing!"

Tae - "Ara....move in with me."

I spoke out what I thought could be the best option.

Tae's mind - " If she stays near me, I could protect her better.....I cannot let anything happen to her ever."

She paused her movement for a second and then squinted her eyes .

Ara - " Did you say something?"

She asked as if she is hearing things.

I stopped walking and faced her making her stop too.

Tae - " Ara I want you to move in with me."

She looked at me as if I grew horns.

Ara - " Why should I?....I have a place to live."

I sighed.

Tae's mind - " She needs to know."

Tae - " That guy we just met, isn't some random stranger...he is a mafia."

Her eyes widened.

Tae - " More precisely a mafia from my enemy gang...he saw you with me and I don't know what they are planning...but I can't let them harm you in any way...so stay close to me."

I said holding her arms.

She took a couple of seconds to process everything and gulped.

Ara - " W-well"

Her voice cracked so she cleared her throat.

Ara - " Well Taehyung, I understand what you are saying....but I don't think the solution is to move in with you."

Tae - " How else can I protect you?... should I move in with you then?"

I asked impatiently.

Ara - " What? no."

She spoke in a startled voice.

Ara - " Let's not be that pessimistic.....they would not be benefitted in any way by harming me....why would they waste their time for that."

Tae - " No Ara-"

Ara - " Don't worry Tae..I will be careful... moreover I literally work across your building...if I find anything suspicious I'll inform you."

She said with a smile trying to calm me down.

I was not convinced but I cannot force her.

Tae - " Ok...but please be careful of your surroundings."

She nodded firmly.

Time skip
Night time
Taehyung's cabin

Tae - " You let the manager know about my arrival."

....- " Yes boss, he is informed."

I nodded and walked out of the cabin tucking my pistol behind me.

I was going to visit the club of ours which was being quiet problematic recently.

At the club.

As soon as I entered the premise of the club, I was welcomed with the disgusting smell of sweat, puke and alcohol all mixed together.

The club was packed, no doubt.

Just then the manager of the club came towards us.

Manager - " Welcome sir, I was waiting for you... please come this way."

He said with a wide smile but I replied him with a cold glare which broke him into cold sweat.

He made the way for us amongst the crowd to reach the VIP section.

I breathed out as I reached the VIP area.

We took our seats and shortly after were served with drinks and snacks.

Some strippers also joined us.

But I wasn't here to have fun, I have things to talk out.

Tae - " I don't need them."

I spoke pointing towards the strippers and the manager gestured them to get out of there.

The manager filled my glass with the drink.

Manager - " I am really pleasured to meet you sir."

Tae - " But I am not."

I spoke picking up my glass.

Tae - " So, let's cut the bullshit and tell me what exactly is going on in here?"

He lowered his eyes and became tensed.

Manager - " There is nothing serious sir, it's just that these youngsters get drunk and then fights break out..... you don't have to worry about such trivial matters."

He spoke trying to reassure me.

I scoffed and leaned forward towards him

Tae - "Who do you think I am.?"

He gulped.

Tae - " You trying to play smart with me."

I looked towards my men who took their pistols out and stood beside him.

He visibly trembled.

Manager - " N-no...no sir....wait ..I-.....relax sir....I'll tell you what really h-happens....sir it's the j-jun-"

He was cut off my a loud gun shot.

My neck instantly turned towards the sound which came from outside.

I quickly stood up took my pistol out and walked out the VIP cabin followed by my men.

All the people in the club were more anxious and chaotic than before.

Everyone was trying to leave.

I made my way through them and walked outside.

It would be a lie to say I wasn't shocked.

There was a full blown gang fight happening between my men and the other gang which I now know as the Jung's.

People were running here and there amongst the gun shots.

I even saw a few getting injured.

Tae - " Shit!"

I took a cover and aimed.

I injured a couple of Jung's men.

Changing my cover I kept shooting the men and trying to find the leader.

Tae's mind - Where is he hiding?"

I was about to shoot another man when I heard the police cars.

I immediately stood up and backed away from the chaos and ran towards my car.

where I saw two of my men, who all had a frown on their faces.

Tae - " Jung's again, I don't u-"

Man 1 - "Boss."

He interrupted me and looked at the other before looking back at me.

Tae - " What?"

He hesitated before speaking

Man 1 - " We found Miss Yongsun in the club, with one of the Jung's men...and she is injured."

He pointed towards my car

My eyes widened and I frantically opened my car door to see Yongsun lying inside unconsciously.

Her arm was bleeding

I retreated and huffed out loudly.

Tae - " The man.....who was he?"

I asked impatiently.

Man 2 - " He fled before we could know that...but we heard Miss Yongsun calling him babe."

I rubbed my forehead stressfully.

Tae - " Sir Kim should not know about this.... I'll tell him myself.'

I ordered firmly while pointing my finger at them.

Both of them nodded in unison.

Time skip
Night
Tae's apartment

" Mom....no I will stay with you."

Spoke a young boy holding his mother's hand .

"No...no....I am sorry... please.... don't hit m- me."

Screams of a young boy was heard.

" You are an ungrateful brat."

Growled an adult man.

" I'll - I'll listen t-to you."

Pleaded the young boy.

"Oppa eat this.."

" We found Miss Yongsun in the club, with one of the Jung's men...and she is injured."

Taehyung jerked in his sleep and woke up sweating.

He roamed his eyes everywhere in the room.

Sitting on the bed he wiped his sweat.

Quickly opening his side drawer....he took some meds and gulped them with water.

He took a deep breath to calm himself down.

Getting out of the bed he walked out of his room to the room beside.

Opening it's door he got the view of a girl sleeping peacefully with her arm bandaged.

She is the only one he considers his family in this huge wide world.

His younger sister.

She although might have a different opinion on that.

But taehyung still care for her a lot, whether he shows it or not and seeing his only family, also getting involved in the dirty world was breaking his heart , moreover bringing this fact to Sir Kim was the other thing shaking his heart.

So he did not get any sleep that night.
