Tae's POV

I was sitting in my office room having my green tea and looking into some files my men sorted out for me, about the regular update of our business.

A certain part of the file took my attention.

I looked at the men who was standing across me.

Tae - " What's this?"

He looked into the file and spoke.

Men - " Boss, this one club of ours in Itaewon...is experiencing a lot of rumpus since last month on almost everyday...there were few big fights amongst some people, or some minor gangs and .....many a times even police was informed.....I thought it was important to mention it here."

I nodded with a furrowed forehead.

Tae - " Looks like I got to visit this place soon and give the manager a good talk."

I shut the file close and stood up.

Tae - " Ok, so let's now heed to the meeting."

Man - " Yes boss!"

We both walked out of the office and walked towards the car.

After sitting in, I commanded the driver

Tae - " Move!"

and took my phone out.

Opening the kokoa talk I messaged Ara.

I smiled and put my phone back into the pocket.

Walking forward I entered the building which belongs to Mr.Seon...who is gonna be our new drugs supplier.

One of his man guided me to the meeting room.

As soon as I stepped in everyone present there stood up.

Mr.Seon came forward and shook my hand.

Mr Seon - " Nice to see you Mr.Kim"

Tae - " Same here!"

I took my seat .

Tae - " So, let's begin."

A sudden hesitation adorned Mr.Seon's face.

Mr.Seon - " Umm...Mr.Kim before starting I just want to tell you th-"

He was cut off by the sound of door opening.

Two men came into the meeting room and took positions, as if were someone's gaurds.

My eyebrows furrowed at this.

Followed by them came another person .

A tall and buffed man with long hair and a leather jacket on top of his black button up.

Everyone stood up noticing him

My eyes widened realising who he was.

Tae's mind - " Why is he here?"

Jeon Jungkook

The second most important man of Jung's after their new boss.

Mr.Seon - " Nice to see you Mr.Jeon!"

He welcomed him.

He nodded and made an eye contact with me.

I glared at him which he returned with a smirk.

He walked forward and sat down in front of me.

I turned towards Mr.Seon

Tae - " What's going on, what is he doing here...in OUR meeting?"

I stood up and  asked with desperation and anger

Mr.Seon - " Calm down ,calm down...Mr.Kim, it's just that.."

He tried to cool me down but my anger was rising

Tae - " It's just what?"

I glared at him

Jk - " It's just that.."

My eyes turned towards his deep voice

Jk - " I offered him a better deal than you and he..."

I squinted my eyes and looked back at Seon.

Tae - " Ohhh....so you are being a greedy bitch and deciding to betray our gang!"

I spat harshly while my legs quickly moved towards him

Mr.Seon - " No..noo..noo...Mr. Kim....I am not breaking the deal with you...all I am s-saying is that if -"

Tae - " IF?"

Mr. Seon - " If you could offer me a even b-better deal than Mr.Jeon than I-"

I cut him off by gripping him by his collar

Tae - " Now you are holding a fucking auction....and want me to compete with this asshole for your stupid stuff"

I spoke with gritted teeth.

Tae - " You are not breaking the deal right?, but guess what! I AM."

I released him harshly and punched his face making him fall backwards.

Tae - " Remember!....you played this game with Kim's...and you would pay the price for it!"

I warned him while showing my index finger.

I turned around and looked at Jeon, who still had a smirk adorning his face.

Tae - " Do you really think this is gonna affect us??"

I scoffed and walked out.

Time skip

Even though I played it cool in front of Jeon...but I knew that this broken  deal is gonna really affect us.

And it did

Infact  I even had to pay the price of it on my face.

Sometimes I wonder what is that thing about him that makes me soo weak infront of him.

I took a shower and entered my room.

Sitting on the bed, I opened my laptop to check up on some of my works.

But just then I remembered about Ara.

I quickly checked the time.

9:15pm

Ara's shift finishes at 6:30.

Tae - " Oh no!"

I searched for my phone.

It was lying on the farther corner of my bed.

I quickly held it and unlocking it caused my heart to drop again.

10 missed calls from Ara💝

Tae - " OHhhhh SHITtt!!!!!!"

I quickly called her up.

*Ring Ring*

She picked it up.

Tae - " He-"

Ara - " Hello... Taehyung...hey...are you okay?...where are you?..hello? Taehyung?"

Her voice was concerned and it made me feel guilty...I gulped

Tae - " Hello."

Ara - " Taehyung, you are okay?."

Tae - " Yeah"

I almost whispered

Ara - " Are you busy...umm..I thought we were gonna meet...I am waiting!"

My eyes widened

Tae - " WHAT??...where are you?"

I threw the blanket away and stood up.

Ara - " I am waiting at the bus stop near the café....is it gonna take time?"

Tae - " Oh my god,.you still there...I am so sorry Ara...I forgot about our meeting...wait! I am coming to pick you up!"

I was roaming around my room finding my car keys.

Ara - " No..no..no..wait Taehyung..wait..you are at home?"

Tae - " Yeah..I am so sorry..it slipped off my mind...I am coming ...wait for me!"

I spoke desperately.

I finally found my key and walked to exit my room.

Ara - " No, Taehyung..relax...stay where you are...ok?"

Tae - " But"

I walked out into the living room.

Ara - " Something happened right?"

Her words made me stop.

Ara - " I know you can't forget about our meet up just like that."

She spoke in the softest voice.

Tae - " Ara..I-"

Ara - " Do you want me to come over......y-your place?"

She asked hesitantly.

Something about that sentence made my heart jiggle.

Tae - " Y-yeah...Umm..I'll come pick you up!"

Ara - " No, Taehyung...a bus just arrived..I'll come on my own...you just stay there."

Tae - " Ara.."

Ara - " Tsk.. Taehyung..I am on the bus right now...I am coming...don't worry."

She cut the call and I stared into the thin air for 10 seconds

And then panicked

Tae's mind - " Ara..here..my place!"

I quickly ran towards my room.

Normally ahjumma cleans my room every morning but I mess it up everyday.

So, I quickly picked up the dirty clothes  and socks from the floor and hid them in the closet.

I hid my gun in a secret drawer.

I quickly hid my cigarettes somewhere.

I just don't want her to know that I smoke...not yet.

I walked into the washroom.

Settled all the stuff in there.

And changed from my shorts into gray sweatpants.

I nicely arranged my bed sheet and blanket....I mean I tried.

I again quickly ran out towards the kitchen.

Tae - " What should I make for her?.. should I wake ahjumma up?...no..not a good idea."

I looked around the kitchen.

Tae - " I can make some coffee for her...or would she prefer soju...some ramyeon?.....ahhh...I don't know...I should wait for her and ask her!"

I sighed heavily.
