Tae and Ara - " Whatever!"

Time skip

Till now we both realized that we both are k-drama fans but have slightly different opinions of different characters.

But I don't know why he likes the toxic characters more..true beauty is an exception.

And now we again are at loss of topics to talk.

I am sitting and waiting for the food with a depressed face.

Ara's mind - " What is this nonsense?..how long I have to wait?....Till now,we could have enjoyed those appetizing dishes at the stalls and might be headed to the convenience store for some ramyeon....it could have been such a lovely cute date...."

Taehyung was using his phone.

Ara's mind - "..Ha!..... lovely and cute dates happens with lovely and cute people not with mafias!"

Tae - " Aren't you on any social media?"

He suddenly asked.

Ara - " Huh?.....ah!..No!...I am not!"

I answered straight-forwardly

Tae - " Weird!.....who doesn't use social media in this era!"

He chuckled to himself again turning to his phone.

Ara - " Me!"

I whispered to myself.

Just then my nostrils caught a fragrance, a fragrance that made me salivate and my stomach grumble.

Our order was finally here.💃💃

An unconscious smile occupied my face as the waiter put the dishes on our table.

Then he bowed and left.

Apparently it was an italian restaurant so Taehyung ordered Risotto, Fiorentina steak , lasagna and wine.

Everything looked so classy, beautiful and mouth watering.

I gulped the excessively formed saliva and looked at Taehyung.

He took the napkin and placed it on his lap.

I copied him.

He finally paid attention to the food, serving some risotto to his place.

Tae - " Go ahead!"

I enthusiastically nodded

And picked up the cutlery to serve myself some.

Since it was my first time at fine dining, I actually made quite a mess while doing so.

Taehyung was about to take a bite but stopped to look at me making a mess.

Tae - "You need help?"

Ara - " Ah-h.....ha-ha-ha....it's fine!"

I awkwardly laughed.

He nodded and continued with his food

Finally there was some food on my platter.

I ate the first spoon and 'mhmmmmmm'

Ara's mind - " Woah..... this is soo good...."

I discovered a whole new and different world of taste.

I unconsciously hummed in delight,but then immediately looked at Taehyung to see if he noticed

He did and smiled a little.

Ara's mind - " Agh!.. embarrassing!"

I quickly looked back at my plate and continued with my food.

After completing my risotto, my next target was the steak, which very swiftly landed on my plate with Taehyung's generousity.

But these forks and knives are just so complicating.

I am sure the noise created by my cutlery in order to cut this frickin steak has disturbed the whole restaurant.

Ara's mind - " Oh God!!! Tell me how to stab 'myself' because this 'steak' isn't going to be stabbed by me in this life."

I finally stopped the attempt when I felt some large,veiny hands on mine.

I looked at my side to see Taehyung sitting beside me holding my hands.

I didn't noticed him getting here .

I held my breath in cause his face was too close to my comfort.

Tae - " Let me help!"

He offered kindly.

I could feel the warmth of his breath on my face,which made me flinch.

I leaned back and nodded slightly.

And softly removed my hand from under his.

I blinked my eyes and looked away for a second.
This small incident made me feel something weird..

He swiftly cut the steak and pointed the fork towards my mouth .

My lips parted in surprise.

Ara's mind - " Do he really have to feed me like this?"

He smiled and gestured me to eat.

I smiled back slightly and hesitantly opened my mouth to have the steak in my mouth.

The softness and tenderness of the steak immediately made my heart melt.

Tae - " How's it?"

He asked

I nodded while chewing.

Ara - " Really good!"

He smiled and again cut the steak for me.

Ara - " I-its ok....I can eat myself....I don't wanna bother you!"

He shook his head and again forward the fork with steak towards me.

Now this was being kinda uncomfortable.

I looked around and found few eyes on us...so I quickly took the bite.

Then he cut the next piece and ate it himself.

Let me repeat, he cut the piece and ate it himself from the same fork.

Ara's mind - " Ewwwww!!! How can he- No way,I am gonna eat from this fork again!"

Tae - " Her-!"

Ara - " No , no,no,no ,no...I can eat now....I mean I will try to eat by myself...thanks for helping, Mr.Kim"

I took another fork and knife from the side.

There was already a small piece so I quickly picked it with my fork and gobbled .

I looked at my side to see Taehyung still looking at me with a small smile.

I gulped the steak.

Ara - " What!"

He shook his head.

Tae - " You really are very interesting!"

He said while getting up and going back to his original seat.

Ara - " Wha-"

I decided to ask why he said so but then decided otherwise because why to waste time asking stupid questions rather than enjoying these delicacies.

So I focused back to my plate.

Time skip

We exited the restaurant after Taehyung paid the bill.

Ara - " Thank you for the meal Mr.Kim!"

I thanked him genuinely.

Tae -" Thank you for accepting to have this meal!"

He replied with a chuckle.

These words of his made me smile heartily for the first time with him.

Ara - " No, but really, the food was amazing and I am genuinely grateful for this!"

He smiled with a slight shyness, which amused me.

I chuckled in my mind at that sweet, shy smile.

Tae - " I am glad!"

It was night already we looked towards th shining full moon.

There was a silence but not an awkward one.

I decided to bid him a goodbye now.

Ara - " So-"

Tae - " Ara!"

The softness of his voice while taking my name made me have goosebumps.

Ara - " Huh?"

Tae - " I know I promised to not bother you after this date.."

He paused

I widened my eyes to wait for him to complete and to be honest I literally forgot the reason we were having this date in the first place.

Tae - " but I still want to bother you ....I-I mean, meet you.... like meet and see you....you know?"

He seemed confused with the choice of his words .

I stayed silent.

He looked at me for some reply but I had nothing to say.

He sighed.

Tae - " Listen Ara, I may be a mafia but I have no ill intentions towards you, I have no motive behind approaching you except that I want to be friends with you."

I was slightly taken aback.

I bit my lower lip.
I wasn't expecting this.
I mean friends with ME?...why?

Tae - " I don't know why.....but I want to know you more, see you more and meet you more as a friend.... as a normal boy.... not as a mafia!"

I looked down.

Tae - " You are getting my point right?"

I nodded still looking down.

Tae - " I promise if you let me be your friend then I'll always be Kim Taehyung, a friend , a model, a normal boy to you....you'll never have to witness my mafia side!"

Tae - " Sooo.....will you be my friend, Ara?"

I finally looked at him who was looking at me with hope and nervousness.

Frankly speaking, he is no where near the picture of mafias I had in my mind.

The personality he potrayed didn't made me think he is a mafia even for once.

He literally just behaved like a normal guy....I mean,well a normal, rich guy.

And the best thing was that he didn't get embarrassed by my stupid and clumsy actions today, rather he chose to help me.

Ara's mind - " Is he really being genuine?"

I looked at him again.

Ara's mind - " He doesn't actually have any other reason to befriend me so I guess he is being genuine!"

Tae - " Ara!"

Ara - " Huh?"

Tae - " Will you?"

I took two more seconds and made my mind.

I smiled widely and nodded.

Ara - " I will love to be your friend if you keep your promises!"

His smile grew steadily and took a boxy shape.

Tae - " I will....I will keep my promises....Thank you!"

I nodded

At Tae's house
Tae's POV

I was laying on my bed with my hands under my head in order to sleep but sleep was no where near me.

She smiled widely and nodded.

Ara - " I will love to be your friend if you keep your promises!"

I remembered that heart shaped smile on her face and glow in her eyes.

Tae - " How is she so beautiful?"

I mumbled to myself while having her features in my mind.

I remembered how she was so flustered when I fed her the steak myself.

I chuckled

Tae - " How is she so cute?"

I had this wide unconscious smile on my face.

I didn't even realised what I am doing right now.

Remembering the smile and expressions of a girl at midnight and not trying to sleep?

But one thing, I realise for sure is that I am feeling so peaceful right now.... Peaceful!.....the feeling I never really felt.

*Ring Ring*

My phone rang.

I looked at the time before picking it up .

It showed 1:30 am.

I sighed and picked the call up.

Tae - " Yeah Jimin!"

I said while moving towards my closet

Jimin - " There's some problem around our warehouse No. 24....gotta come!"

Tae - " Coming!"

I said while changing my pants!
