Mirror Mirror
I am a mirror.
I hang on your wall.
I am a mirror, knower of all.
I promise I show only the honest truth, only what everyone sees,
Trust, one day you'll be thanking me.
I'll reflect the scars you're so ashamed of,
I'll show you why you don't deserve love.
It's simply appearance, which you can easily change,
Brutally honest is the name of the game.
So you think you're too skinny, think you're to fat?
Ha! I can easily fix that.
Throw on some makeup and a dress way to tight,
And darling now you're a beautiful sight.
So what if you're sobbing in a ball on the floor!
So what if you're screaming that you're insecure!
My job's to make you pretty, fix all your makeup smudges,
My job's to create an illusion and be your personal judges.
My job is to make you want to run and hide,
I couldn't care less about who you are inside.
I don't look at kindness I don't look at your heart
My job is to rip your self confidence apart.
Cause I am a mirror!
Knower of all!
But sometimes you can't trust the glass on the wall.
