Elijah's POV
3 years later...

"Eli!" I heard my name being called by a very familiar voice I can recognize anywhere.

I swiftly turned around to see my Lia running up to me, her arms spread apart, a big wide smile on her face and her dark eyes shining with unshed tears.

Then she jumped, wrapping her arms and legs around me.

'Holy shit, she smells like heaven' I thought to myself breathing in her coconut and apple candy scent.

Hearing the loud gasps from the onlookers around the lobby I paid no mind to them.

"This is a dream right?" I stupidly asked.

"No, silly I'm here it's the real me," Lia said giggling holding my face in her hands she crushed her plush lips on mines.

More gasps and chattering surrounded us.
Three years.

Three long fucking years since I've seen her, touched her, hugged her, kissed her and got a whiff of that same intoxicating scent of hers.

Since both companies were becoming even more successful, Lia and I had no time to be together during the holidays.

As CEOs, we couldn't have time no matter how many trips or vacations we planned on our countless Skype and FaceTime sessions, something always seems to hinder our plans.

God, I missed her! "I missed you so much," Lia said sobbing violently against me.

"Me too Love, me too," I said patting her head lovingly.

Lia slowly untangles her leg from waist lowering her body till she stood on both feet.

Her body still close to mine "Let's go to your office. I have so much to tell you." She said with giddy excitement and a permanent smile dancing on her lips.

Lia's dark eyes still shined brightly due to her tears.

I was so dumbfounded that I had no control over my body movements.

"Eli, are you alright?" Lia asked worriedly rubbing her thumb on my jaw.

"Ah, yes, sorry about that. I blanked out for a few there." I apologized holding her hand in mine.

As I pulled her along with me to the private elevator for the CEO and the board executives.

A few minutes later, we arrived at the top floor.

Emerging out the metal box. My secretary Ms. Davies, who previously worked for my father came rushing towards us.

"Good Morning, Mr. Newton" She greeted in a professional respectful manner, then her eyes landed on Lia.

"Ms. Davies, this is my girlfriend Nalia Chen, CEO of ChenSheng enterprise." I proudly introduced my girl to the older woman.

Ms. Davies gasped in astonishment and looked at me.

"It's really her, the same woman who made you act like a lovesick puppy for the past 3 years?" She asked with a teasing smile on her face.

My face heated up when I noticed Lia smirking up at me.

"Yes that's me, Ms. Davies it's a pleasure to meet you." Lia outstretched her had to shake the eager woman's hand.

"I bet you two have a lot to catch up on. I'll reschedule your meetings to a further date. Nice to meet you Ms. Chen" She said bidding us goodbyes with a hand wave.

I turned the opening the door wide enough for us to enter.

"I love your office" Lia commented examining my personal domain.

"Thank you" I replied settling myself on the leather sofa in the big space.

Lia stopped her exploration and sat adjacent to me.

"What happened? How did you get here?" I rushed out asking the questions that had been on my mind since I saw her.

"Baby, one question at a time," Lia said playfully rolling her eyes.

"I'm sure it's not rocket science to realize why I'm here in London, with you physically in front of me." She said easing closer to me.

My heart starts to pound wildly due to the way she was gazing at me under those thick eyelashes of her cat-like eyes.

"The time we spent apart was like holding a knife with my injured hand. Looking back again at that night you left, I ceased to breathe properly. I felt lonely most of the time, only the important people in my life temporarily filled the void in my heart. God, I missed you so much!" She moves closer settling herself on my lap burying her face in the nape of my neck.

"I love you with so much hurt, but it was all worth it because you came back to me." I confessed feeling a stinging pain in my chest.

It felt painful yet euphoric at the same time.

"Wow, I really didn't notice your hair it fits you so well. I love it babe you look very beautiful" I told her gazing at her one of a kind features.

I used my index and thumb to lift her chin, slightly brushing our lips together, before planting my lips upon hers fully kissing her like she's going to disappear any moment soon.
                       Nalia's POV
3 days ago...
"Hey sis, Mom said you you have a visitor?" My younger brother Benjamin strolled in my bedroom not before knocking.

"Get out to my room Benji" I threw a pillow at him.

"No can do sis" He caught the pillow wagging his finger at me.

I like my privacy a lot, but sometimes, I feel like it getting invaded.

I decided to move in with Granny and Eric two years ago when Eric legally adopted me as his daughter.

I don't even understand why I still call her Granny instead of Mom.

I tried a few times but Granny sounded better. So I just stuck with that.

Granny wanted a bigger family so they adopted the kids.

Benjamin and Beverly were put into the system after the court took them away from their drug-addicted parents.

Beverly is a quirky, feisty 8 year old, her cuteness and manipulative innocent words are enough to get her out of any trouble.

That's why I nicknamed her little demon, she doesn't mind because she knows it's true.

Her brother Benjamin, is 12 years old but he was one tough but to crack but he eventually did and warmed up to everybody.

When he was first brought home, he didn't want to talk or interact with anyone.

He was quiet, observant about his surroundings and very protective of his younger sister and surprisingly me also.

Both siblings are polar opposites, though their physical features are similar.

Benjamin and Beverly had dark midnight hair, bright hazel eyes, the same button nose, and slightly small lips.

But personality-wise, you can't compare those two.

"Mom, said you have guests" He says walking to my bedside and dropping the pillow on my bed.

"Uh, thanks tell her I'll be down in a sec" I told him with a frustrated groan.

"Okay" I heard his barely audible reply before he gently closed the door.

I quickly typed up the rest of the words on my laptop, saving it into my flash drive and got up to go inside my closet.

Since it's a visitor, I need to put on respectable clothing.

I found a flowery pink sundress, that reached my ankles and leather sandals.

Checking my appearance in the mirror, I blew myself a kiss, throwing compliments at my reflection.

That used to be Elijah's job, always hyping me up whenever I did my makeup or dressed up.

'Oh, how much I miss his big goofy ass'

My shoulders slightly slumped until Granny's voice screamed out for me sputtering Mandarin crazily.

"抱歉, 我要来." I quickly apologized because I'm not feeling the need to experience her wrath today.

Translation: Sorry, I'm coming.

I rushed out of my bedroom with my keys locking the door because I know little demon likes to take her my things and never return them back.

When I reached the bottom of the stairs, I saw Granny mean mugging me and I sheepishly smiled at her.

She scoffed rolling her eyes then pointed for me to leave.

My feet led me to the sunroom, where I saw Lucia and Landon conversing.

It was like they were in their own little world until I cough obnoxiously loud to gain their attention.

"Aunty Nali!" Landon screams running into me wrapping his arms around my waist, resting his head on my stomach.

"Hey buddy, how are you?" I asked hugging him.

"I'm good, mommy wants to speak to you" He cutely responded pointing to his mom who sat on the couch with her mega white, dimpled smile taking over her face.

"Thank you sweetie, do you think you can go bother Brooke while you give me and your mommy space?" I asked him while ruffling his big curly Afro.

"You got it auntie!" He saluted mr before running off to go disturb my lil sis.

"It's been 5 months since I last saw him and he's grown taller. Eloise, what the hell are you feeding him?" I asked shocked by how Landon grows every time I see him after a long time his height changes.

Lucia shrugged "I don't know" she said laughing out her words.

"So, what brings you here to my lovely abode? Madam Collin." I asked in a fake posh accent to sound like her.

She playfully glared at me making me raise my hand in surrender.

"I'm here because I wanted to give you this" Eloise said while digging into her bag and pulled out a crisp white envelope handing it to me.

"What's this? I asked suspiciously eying the object placed on my palm.

"Let's just say it's an early birthday gift from me and Logan. Do not open it until l leave." I nod without noticing I was doing so.

"Alrighty, now I'm off to my son's 'girlfriend's room," Lucia asked with a smirk.

"Hey!" I said glowering at her.

Eloise dubbed Landon and Brooke as a little couple, knowing damn well that those two don't even get along or maybe they do and just pretend in front of everyone.

I don't know, don't care it's not my business.

"Bye bye, darling" She said kissing my cheek.

I turned over the envelope to see if anything is written on it but it was just plain.

From a distance, I heard Granny and Brooke wishing the Collins a safe journey back to their home.

I ran back upstairs, unlocking my bedroom door I rushed to open the envelope.

Inside the crisp paper was an express plane ticket from New York to London.

My eyes landed on the boarding time and I saw 12:00 am.

I let out a bewildered gasp, I turned over my wrist to see 7:35 pm on my Apple Watch.

I rushed into my closet, taking out 2 suitcases and putting anything inside, underwear, any clothes I got my hands on and a few shoes.

I hastily ran into the bathroom collecting my toiletries and packing those inside Off-White backpack along with my MacBook Pro.

3 fully charged portable and any other electronic devices I need to bring.

My passport, my wallet some cash to change currencies.

After packing, I sat on my bed and called my COO, about my sudden out of work vacation.

Mariem Kingsley, the woman Granny hired to be my COO since she knew I needed the extra helping hand.

Granny told me to trust the woman, and have faith in her working abilities and I did.

Never once has she failed me as a close friend and as my employee.

I checked the time once again, it read 8:28 pm.

I changed into something more fitting for traveling. An all-black outfit, simple but classy.

I draped the backpack over my shoulder, grabbing the suitcase handles and pulling them out of my room then locked the door behind me.

"Granny, Dad, Elijah, and Elsa" I called out to the family.

One by one they stood in front of me.

"Child, what's with all the luggage?" Granny asked me pointing to the suitcases.

I reached into my back pocket and lifting the plane ticket in the air.

"I'm going to London!" I told them excitedly bouncing on toes.

"Eloise came to the house to give me this" You could hear the undying happiness in my voice.

"Have a safe flight sis, FaceTime me when you reach?" Benjamin said hugging me before going back to his bedroom.

I chuckled at his nonchalant reaction.

I'm 22 years old and my 12 year old brother acts like he's older than me. Ironic isn't it.

"Are you going to visit your boyfriend?" Elsa adorably asked with a wide grin.

"Yes" I answered and she squealed jumping and I joined her.

Though my siblings never physically met Elijah, I did introduced them on FaceTime.

"Child, that's wonderful, Eric quick go get the car so we could all go to the Airport," Granny said pushing her husband towards the stairs leading downstairs.

Dad came back taking both suitcases with him. Granny helped Elsa put on their matching pink faux fur coat.

While I wore the same coat but mine was blue.

"Come on let's go, people!" I said ushering them out of the house.

Dad came around the car opening the door for us to enter then went back to the driving.

35 minutes later we arrived in front of the airport.

I got my suitcases to get weigh and taken to cargo.

Since it was still early for me to board, the family stayed with me until the speakers announced my flight number was ready to board passengers.

I said my goodbyes because I might be in London for a while.

Present

Elijah listened to me speak animatedly while playing with my hair strands.

"If it wasn't for the plane ticket your cousin and best friend gave me. I wouldn't have gotten that extra push I most definitely needed." I told him running my finger around his facial features.

'Damn, he looks so yummy' That would be my lustful mind speaking.

After being abstinent for 3 years, and finally getting back together with your lover. Your mind would be all over the place.

"You have no idea how happy I am right now" Elijah said tightening his hold on my body.

Leaning down to his ear I whispered something else instead of my intended word.

"I'm horny" My eyes widen because I meant to say I was hungry.

Quickly pulling back I was met with the dark heated gaze of Elijah's blue-brown eyes.

Before I could utter another word I was flipped over on the sofa and kissed senselessly.
