Episode XII: Jack and the Gangsters

Note: Last episode of this and back to Death Battle. I decided to end the night with the Fairy Tale episode of Aku after this one. Then, back to Death Battle.

Not to mention I've seen that Volume 4 of RWBY will be released on the 22nd of October.... Which I expected it to be released in the fall. But I also saw some awesome designs of team RWBY, which shows they've grown up a bit and are now more badass than ever.... But Yang's design kinda tells us she's still a bit depressed and struggling. Not to mention a new species of Grimm that will appear.

I'm very excited for both RWBY and Samurai Jack to return this fall/winter.

RWBY continues where they last left off as they remember the badass episode with Jack meeting the Scotsman and eventually became allies and close friends after fighting (and a misunderstanding tirade) together. Ruby and Yang even hope the see the Scotsman again someday again and see his crazy awesome actions.

"If the Scotsman ever makes a return, I will be happy again and watch him do badass things." Yang announced.

"Yes!" Ruby agreed. "Did you see how he shot bullets out of his peg leg gun?! So awesome!"

"I respect him now and consider him an very valuable friend and ally for Jack." Weiss agreed 'And I hope he doesn't brag and gloat again..... which is unlikely' She thought.

"I do like how they became friends and allies." Blake said which made RWBY feel warm again how they came together as a team, despite being different in many ways.

"I know. Polar opposites they are, yet, they have the same thing in common of fighting to survive." Weiss agreed.

After that, RWBY now focused on the next episode. They now focus on the show right after the intro. The first thing RWBY hears is the music of jazz and a door, as a forearm appears and knocks on the door.

"Looks like we are gonna see something else and interesting tonight." Weiss said in curiosity. Unlike her other teammates who like other kinds of music, Weiss does love the smooth sound of jazz music since it's very common for the Schnee family to listen to, aside from classical music the older generation of the Schnees enjoy. Weiss even owns a lot of albums of jazz music by many famous bands and singers across all over Remnant.

A slide on the door opens and a pair of eyes, likely that of a doorman, are looking at the person (and RWBY).

Doorman: Yeah.

?: Ricko Benny Giordano.

The slide closes and the door opens. The doorman lets this "Ricky" in.

Doorman: Come on in. Welcome to the Blue Monkey.

RWBY realizes it's some kind of club. A mobster kind of club.

"Blue Monkey?" Ruby said in curiosity for a name like that for a club.

"There are many clubs across Remnant with funny and weird names, Ruby." Weiss answered.

"Yep. Junior's club once had an embarrassing nick name called When-he's-the-poo!" Yang bursted into laughter so hard that it lasted for two minutes that RWBY had to pause the episode. "Then he decided to take the chance to rename it Bear With Me, right after I trashed his club." She finished. RWB had heard that she did it but decided to let it fly since it happened already.... and Yang told them about it already.

They continued the episode as they looked at the interior of the Blue Monkey club and it's sweet jazz music much more clear. Weiss was actually in tune with it and loved it. Ruby and Blake considers it decent and enjoy it when they can. Yang hasn't heard jazz much and prefers the raving kind of music that she hears on her Scroll or in clubs.

The interior was a fancy club with fancy tables served with many kinds of food for people to eat and drink along with many people dancing on the ballroom floor and upper balconies. The majority of people were dressed in fancy. Most of the men wear fancy double breasted overcoats with fancy ties. The women all have very elegant and fancy flapper dresses or fur coats with other added accessories such as feather boas, feather hats, fascinators, and. Jewelry was also common for women to wear such as diamond necklace and many diamond rings. The center of the club is where all the men and women alike are dancing together while the orchestra players play the tune of the music.

(Coco easily recognizes what kind of fashion the clothing are and her mother, who is a famous fashion designer in Vale, made and owns several of them.)

"Wow. That's some fancy club they have." Blake said with impression.

"I agree." Weiss said. "From what I remember, I used to go to many kinds of fancy clubs with my father and sister, when my father gets together with old friends and business partners." She continued as she can remember the times at clubs but she didn't make friends with anyone and only been with her sister. She now feels happy she found the friends she loves and cares for now.

"And that reminds me." Blake also said. "The way they all dress and the music played in a club with architecture that fancy almost resemble the times right before the Great War.

It's true. Before the Great War began, tensions and negativity were very high across Remnant as humanity was barely fighting off the Grimm and were also fighting amongst themselves over authority, resources, and territory. Gangs and mobsters were plentiful and common everywhere across Remnant as they fight for all the Dust and land they could smuggle for the currency or power, or even just trying to survive for food and somewhere to sleep. When the war began, it only grew worse as it also meant more Grimm attacks became even more common and more violence has increased in the inner walls of society. Thankfully, the war ended right in the small island named Vytal where all four kingdoms ended the war and made peace. That was also the event that created the Vytal Festival once every two years. That also meant crime and gangs were reduced and even put out of commision. However, there are some gangs that still exist and continue their criminal activities. Roman, for example, is one of the crime lords but thankfully arrested and under custody by Ironwood.

"Yeah. I kinda see the resemblance." Weiss agreed.

"People back from Earth must have very similar cultures and fashion like us then." Yang added. "Hope they had awesome food and music I would so enjoy there." She added but remembered the Earth may still be gone.

"We shall worry about that later since we may wanna know what's going on." Blake answered as they continued to watch.

Entering the club were a bunch of individuals but can't see them since the camera is only focusing on their legs. But Yang can tell the pant legs match the kind Junior's goons like to wear and dress shoes. But every movement each leg makes makes some kind of mechanical sound similar to how Atlestian Knights sound when they walk. That gave RWBY some slight suspicion. Also entering the club is a familiar robe that RWBY didn't need to guess again who it was as Yang and Ruby grinned seeing their favorite samurai enter the club.

"Those mechanical walks are making me feel like they could be robots." Weiss said in suspicion. And it turns out she's right as they got a good look at them which are indeed robots.... Robot mobsters. Their metallic grey faces with red eyes already give out the hint along with their metal gray fingers. They wear dark overcoats and funky red fedoras with a black streak in the middle. They even almost look like as if they are mob versions of the grimm, due to their color streaks.

They are all sitting down at a nearby bar as the bartender is busy cleaning a glass.

"This feels like we're watching some kind of noir film." Blake out loud as she and Weiss has seen shows like this.

"Yep. Bars, mobsters, and the like, has those elements." Weiss agrees.

Thankfully, to them, the music and dancing keeps everyone else's attention focused on those as the bartender looks at the robot goons and uses his eyes to direct them where he's pointing at. The robots look at a nearby table with a bunch of guys playing poker. The music still plays as one of the robot goons pull some kind of envelope out of his coat and hands it over to the bartender who takes it (and sniffs it). He nods and sinks under the bar, which may be a sign that he's striking a deal here and chaos is about to ensue, as the robot thugs get up and appear to be each hiding something under some trenchcoats on their arms.

"Huh. I wonder what was in that folder." Ruby said in curiosity.

"I wonder too." Blake agreed since she does like criminal and noir setting plots. "Maybe some kind of deal here or something."

"Either way, it seems this has something to do with those guys at the table over there." Weiss added. "Which means they could be the targets for these thugs."

"Bet that also means action will ensue." Yang said with a smirk.

The music has reached the end as the announcer gets on stage and speaks into the microphone.

Announcer: Welcome, friends. And a warm welcome to the Buddy Righteous Orchestra.

"That's a nice name for an orchestra." Ruby commented with a smile of such a name.

Announcer: And, without further ado, please welcome the lovely Lula Lillywhite!

The music has now changed to a soft piano tone as a woman in a flapper dress comes out on stage and begins singing a song that makes you feel chill and calm.

"That woman does have a nice voice for singing." weiss admired and respected the Lillywhite as they continue to hear her singing.

"Yeah. But I think Weiss sounds better at singing since we've all heard you do it." Ruby said with a cheerful smile to her friend. Weiss blushed a bit since she does sing whenever she's not doing anything important and gets bored at times. Lot's of people across Beacon has heard her voice and many say it could make an angel jealous.

As Lula Lillywhite continued her charming talent, the guys at the table playing cards stopped playing and watched the woman, unaware the robot thugs are right behind them.

"Uh oh...." Ruby said in slight dread as it turns out the robot thugs have Tommy guns hiding underneath the coats on their arms and another even had one hiding behind the newspaper he was pretending to read.

"Looks like these goons are here to assassinate these guys for whatever reasons, it seems like." Blake said in slight worry.

But Jack heard the sound of guns being locked and loaded, indicating he needs to fight them to prevent anybody getting killed. He quickly draws his sword as he cuts a huge curtain blind which causes it to cover the robo thugs, blinding their vision as they open fire but miss their intended targets. RWBY liked the clever and quick thinking tactic.

"Good thinking, Jack!" Yang cheered. "You sure found a way to blind them!" She grinned as her teammates groaned from that horrible pun.

Thankfully, everyone heard the gunfire and screamed for their lives as they make a run for it while the guys playing poker ducked under the table, giving Jack the time to fight the goons without harming innocents in the crossfire.

Just as the curtain was torn by the bullets and are able to see again, Jack already was upon them and chopped off their arms still holding their guns.

"Boy. Jack is good at disarming his enemies!" Yang grinned as RWB just facepalmed.

"Great... she's doing it again." Weiss muttered.

The other robot mobsters tried to shoot Jack but he already pushed the armless robots he already assaulted as they collided into the group and all fell over from the collision.

"Awesome!" Ruby also cheered.

More robot thugs enter the building from the door for employees only and open fire. Jack manages to outrun the gunfire as the bullets follow him and shred the tables. The girls were impressed that Jack can deflect and dodge gunfire, which is impressive since RWBY can also do that too but Jack doesn't have an aura. The robots lost track of Jack and look around for him... while Lula Lillywhite is still singing on stage.

"Wait. She's STILL singing?!" Weiss said in disbelief that the singer hasn't even made a run for it.

"Either she's unaware what's happening or has the nerves to stay in place to continue her singing.... Or both." Blake answered.

"Either way, I consider her awesome in my books for continuing doing her career, even in a tight situation." Yang said out loud.

Ruby was impressed to that this woman has some nerves.

The robots still kept looking around... until they spotted a familiar ponytail poking out of the table. The robots instantly open fired at the table they presume Jack is hiding behind, but once the table was torn to shreds and splinters... all they see is a bowl of soup... and the "ponytail" was a ladle the whole time in the soup.

"Awww!" Yang said in fake sadness. "They ruined the soup that I was gonna save for ladle!"

"Ruby." Weiss said in disdain of hearing those unbearable puns. "Make her stop."

"Can't." Ruby answered as if she's sorry and looks full of despair too. "Once Yang gets going on her puns, nothing can stop her."

Both Weiss and Blake groaned in despair.

Jack appears behind them as the robots turn around but didn't have time to react as Jack decapitates them. Another random robot mook appears but this one has a large propane tank strapped to it's back and it's hands are replaced with flame thrower nozzles. He spews a trail of fire at Jack who dodges it and avoid the flames.

"Boy. Things are really getting fired up now!" Yang announced as Ruby, Weiss and Blake pinch the bridges of their noses at hearing the puns.

"Yang. I rather glue Zwei to my butt then to hear your ridiculous puns." Blake groaned in annoyance.

(SNNN's dorm)

"NOT THE BELLABOOTY!" Sun shouted in great despair as his instincts told him something bad may happen to the precious bellabooty (but he does like Blake more at heart too). He and his team are already watching the second episode of Samurai Jack where Jack is talking the to canine archaeologists of what's going on. Sun's other three teammate were looking at him in confusion as Neptune pauses the TV.

"Uh....you okay, Sun?" Neptune asked his best friend.

Sun managed to calm down and tried not to make his friends too worried. "Sorry, dude. Thought Blake was gonna do something hasty to herself."

"It's alright, Sun." Neptune answered. "Let's get back to the show." He hits play as they continue to hear Jack talk with the sentient dogs.

(RWBY's dorm)

Blake swore she heard a scream but ignored it and kept going.

Jack continued to run from the pyro robot and jumped on the upper balconies to dodge the flames. The robot also lost track of Jack and looks around for him, unaware Jack has snuck up from behind on the upper balcony and jumps down on him and pins him to the floor. He slices off the tube attached to the tank as flames burst from the propane tank and propels him towards the remaining robot mooks.

"Looks like they are gonna go off..." Yang announced.

"Don't you say it!" RWB all shouted.

The robot slams into the other robots as the tank explodes and obliterates all the robots as their remains scatter.

"With a YANG!" Yang shouted.

"DARN IT YANG!" Weiss and Ruby shouted in complete frustration that Yang just had to say that as Blake facepalmed.

"I'm so gonna die hearing Yang spouting all those puns..." Blake groaned.

"Alright, alright. I'm done now." Yang announced but her smirk is still plastered on her face that is likely a no promise.

Back to the scene that shows Jack is surrounded by the bouncers who had enough of Jack tearing the place apart and aim their guns at him.

Bouncer #1: Okay, Mac, that's enough. Nice and slow.

"Wait, what?!" Ruby said in disbelief of Jack being surrounded by the bouncers when HE stopped the robot goons. "Why would they be pointing the guns at him when he stopped those robots?! It's not fair!"

"Likely because he slashed the curtain before they opened fire and the bouncers just came in so they think he started it." Blake responded.

"Still doesn't mean he should have the guns pointed at him." Ruby slightly pouted... then again.... she got in trouble from Glynda for stopping Roman and his goons robbing a Dust shop a long while back... and they started it yet she jumped in the fray... so she can understand Jack likely did the same kind of thing she did, so she calmed down and accepted it.

Bouner #2: That's right. Put the butter knife away.

"Looks like the Scotsman ain't the only person who sees a katana as a butter knife." Yang joked that made everyone chuckle but Weiss.

Bouncer #1: Come on! Move it before we throw you out!

?: Wait. Let him stay.

They heard the voice of someone and they look where it came from and got a good look at him. He's man in his mid thirties while wearing a fur coat over black striped suit (and he doesn't have his arms in the sleeves of the fur coat and his fedora has a brown stripe. He also has eye shadows, thick lips, missing some teeth, and a cigar.

"This guy looks quite like a type of mob boss around a city like this." Blake commented.

"But not as intimidating looking as Junior and his goons." Yang said. "Which I don't consider threteening either since I kicked him and their butts easily."

"Still, he looks like he could give Roman a run for his lien...." Weiss agreed. "...if he wasn't so short that he can barely reach Jack's knees."

"I know. Why is Jack meeting so many characters that are so short compared to him?" Ruby wondered.

"Beats me." Yang answered. "Still kinda funny for Jack meeting people like them."

Boss: It's okay, let him go, see? Mya.

He looks at Jack as if he's impressed.

Boss: You know, we could use a guy like you.

Jack: We?

Boss: Me and the boys, see?

Behind the Boss are four more members.... who are also shorter than Jack.

Boss: Stitches, Mr. Shine, Mr. Pibbles, and Knuckles.

The other members also dress in striped suits with fedoras but each in different colors. Stitches looks clean cut with droopy eyes and his color scheme is blue. Mr. Shine has curly hair, has beady eyes, appears to be smiling, and his color scheme is green. Mr. Pibbles appears to be the tallest, as he's quite lanky, has a long head, a big nose, and his color scheme is a reddish-brown. Knuckles is implied to be the muscle since he looks quite tough looking, has a really big head, and a toothpick in his mouth, while his color scheme is a lightish-brown.

"Huh. Seems like his henchman are also as short and makes us feel like not to take them seriously." Yang said with a smirk.

"And they look kinda goofy." Ruby also added.

Pibbles: Yeah. Well, actually, my real name is Joe- *Gets smacked in the back of the head by Knuckles*

Knuckles: Mr. Pibbles.

RWBY was chuckling at Pibbles getting smacked about saying his real name out loud.

Jack: What exactly does your... organization do.

"I don't think Jack may like if he found out." Weiss says since these guys are no doubt some kind of crime organization....

"True." Blake agrees. "And Jack is a person of pure heart so it's likely he's gonna reject their offer or something else in general here."

Boss: Why, me and the boys, we sort of run things around this town. Know what I mean? Mya, Mya. Say, how do you like to...

He notices that Jack still are holding his hands up.

Boss: It's alright, you can put them down.

Jack puts his arms down.

Boss: How do you like to be a member of the most feared gang in the city, see?

"I doubt Jack would want to be a member since we know what gangs, such as Roman's do, that even Jack would despise to not even think about doing." Weiss said. Blake even felt a bit of remorse that she was once part of the White Fang and it still hurts her what she did. Now she's trying to redeem herself.

Jack: What activities does your "gang" participate in.

Boss: Stitches, break it down.

Stitches clears his throat and speaks in a raspy tone.

Stitches: Um... we, uh, fix things. Know what I mean? Make sure the money goes to the right places around here; the horses, casinos, banks. You follow?

Once Jack did follow, he showed an expression of shock that lead to frowning.

Jack: You are involved in crime.

Stitches and the Boss were chuckling as if this is a joke.

Stitches: Now did I say that?

"The hints you said are quite obvious that you are." Blake retorted.

"And Jack isn't happy about it either." Ruby also said that Jack doesn't appreciate what the criminals do.

In fact, no one likes what criminals do in general. Remnant has had a history of many crimes that involved heists, murders, fights, and many other terrible acts committed. Even the White Fang is already now seen as a current criminal organization, as it left it's original purpose of speech and protesting behind for more violent attempts to earn equality..... no.... for revenge.

Jack: Enough has been said. You're activities have no interest to me. I wish to be no part of your group.

"I knew Jack would reject them because he knows what they do is wrong and we are trying to do that too." Blake said with a slight sense of sympathy when she mentioned themselves... especially herself.

The boss takes his cigar out of his mouth and spits on the floor as if he's being challenged.

Boss: So a prima donna, eh?

He walks to the side and faces away from Jack as he thinks for a second.

Boss: Get out of here. Go on. Beat it, altar boy.

"Guess he let Jack off the hook quite easily." Yang said as if she was expecting a fight.

"I agree and besides, they don't look very threatening or even that powerful as they claim, since they look short and all goofy." Weiss answered.

"They are still criminals, though." Blake finished.

Jack takes the favor and begins walking towards the exit while the other gang members talked in confusion and even sounded like they wanted to join but sound confused.

Boss: Well, what are you all standing around for? We got a delivery to make for Aku.

That was when Jack stopped dead in his tracks and RWBY to have their eyes widen in shock.

"Wait.... these goofball looking thugs.... Are WORKING for AKU?" Weiss said in disbelief.

"I know.... Even I'm surprised and shocked on hearing this." Blake answered as she too.

"Man. I wonder what these guys do to even make Aku work for them." Yang wondered.

"It... doesn't sound right." Ruby finished.

But Jack got interested in this and decided to gather more info to see if these guys really are working for Aku.

Jack: Do you mean the great and powerful Aku?

Boss: Of course. The master of darkness, the shogun of sorrow himself, the big boss himself, Aku.

Jack: And you have dealings with Aku in person?

Boss: Sure, all the time. What's it to ya anyway?

"I agree. I wonder what Jack is up to." Ruby wondered as they continue to see what Jack is really doing here.

Jack: Please, forgive me. I thought you were...

Boss: Small time?

Jack: Well, No. I....

Boss: Ahh. So now Mr. two goody sandals feels like talking, eh?

"For one good reason." Yang told him as they know why Jack wants to talk.

Jack: Please, understand. I have spend my lifetime preparing to come face to face with Aku. Fulfilling this goal will forever change my life.

He bows to the boss.

RWBY is already aware there's more than just Jack wanting to see Aku.

"Jack is right about what he means but he's saying it in a different way that makes it technically sound like some different reason." Blake said.

"It also likely means he's trying to fit in but only for a reason and nothing more." Weiss also added.

"Let's see how he fits in then." Yang finished.

The boss scratches his chin in thought and looks at his teammates who look at each other as well as they think about Jack's offering to join the gang.

After a few seconds of silence.

Boss: Okay, boy, we will give you a shot.

Jack shows bits of gratitude that they are giving him a chance.

Boss: But ya gotta pass a little test first, see? Mya. You know, to prove you got the stomach for it.

Jack gladly accepts as RWBY figured Jack is gonna have to prove if he's criminal material.

"That would be easy." Yang boasted. "We've seen a montage of him going through all kinds of training since childhood. I bet it's easy as taking a nap."

"Maybe." Blake answered. "But we don't know until we see it."

Boss: Alright, here's the skinny.

The scene changes that now shows Jack riding a bike across the docks, while it's raining and his straw hat keeping his head dry. He also has what looks like a gift that resembles a birthday present in the bike's basket. The boss is monouging while Jack does his test.

Boss: It's not a hard job but you're heart's gotta be in the right place, see?

Jack comes up to a warehouse on the docks and knocks on the door.

Boss: One of our clients, see, hasn't been paying his protection money. Mya, so he needs to be rubbed out.

The client, in question, is an elderly man who looks like he won't be around for very long as he looks up at Jack as if he's happy to have a visitor. Jack slightly frowns that he needs to deal with "client", despite that he's just an old man. Jack looks inside.... and the warehouse if full of many cute puppies and kittens in their cages as they give off cute looks.

"SO CUTE!" Ruby and Weiss shouted in glee of witnessing the adorableness of puppies and kittens and Weiss was already gushing baby talk to the baby animals. Blake couldn't help but admit the puppies are pretty cute but she liked the kittens more.

"Wow. This guy must really have a love for baby animals." Yang commented as she also lies the cute animals.... But RWBY now feels worried the way the boss told them that Jack needs to deal with the client for not paying his protection money in a way that does not sound good.

Jack appears to be talking but the Boss' voice is the one monologuing.... which is kinda funny due to Jack's expression.

Jack (Boss' voice): Now you tell him the Society of Animal Preservation of Animal Love has sent a surprise gift, ya, as a token of appreciation for his ongoing love of animals, see? .

Jack hands the man the gift who happily accepts it.

"I don't like the feeling of this." Ruby said as she can't help something bad is gonna happen since Jack is handing over a gift that likely is a trap. Jack now heads away from the warehouse.

Boss: Then you got about 20 seconds to hightail it out of there and then it's "BANG". The gift that keeps on giving.

The warehouse explodes.... Much to Ruby's horror and the shock of Weiss and Yang..... but Blake seems to show a different expression.

"NOOOOOOO!" Ruby cried out in horror of seeing the warehouse explode with the old man and his animals, as tears started pouring out of her eyes comically. She's now confused why Jack would do this, despite being a good guy. (Velvet also made the same reaction as Ruby)

"Why?! Why would Jack do that?! He would never do something like that! Even if it means he can get the opportunity to destroy Aku! He's a pure heart!" Ruby cried as she hugged her sister. Weiss was also shocked and so was Yang.... But they don't seem so convinced like Blake is right now.

"Calm down, Ruby." Yang told her sister. "Maybe this isn't real and it's just some kind of visual the Boss sees the plan as."

"I agree." Blake answered as Weiss calmed down too but she wasn't as upset and tried to believe this isn't real at the moment." And I feel and trust Jack that he would NEVER do that." She finished.

Jack enters the gangster's vehicle and drives off with Mr. Shine as the driver (with stacks of books he sits on to see where he's driving... and I don't know who's controlling the pedals).

Boss: Well, kid, how did it go?

Jack: It went exactly as planned.

They now show the moment Jack handed the gift but with revealed details.

Jack: The old man took the package, I said my lines exactly as I was suppose to.

But it shows Jack seems to be saying something else. This made Ruby stop crying and pay attention this time. Now it shows the package has opened with a bomb that's already lit and gonna blow up.

Jack: He never suspected a thing, after which I immediately left the premises.

"So.... Jack is trying to save him." Ruby said in realization as she now feels better.

Jack orders the old man to abandon the warehouse as he helped him load the boat with the caged animals and the elderly man stormed off to safety right before the bomb detonated.

Jack: He never knew what hit him.

RWBY felt even better and happy thatJack stayed true to his heart and helped the old man escape AND made the gang believe he did exactly as they told him to.

In other words, he killed two Nevermores with one stone.

"I'm impressed, Jack." Blake smiled. "You did the right thing." RWBY smiled again.

"That's why you are awesome." Yang added.

Ruby and Weiss thanked Jack kept the kittens and puppies safe.

Jack: You should not be concerned with any further payment problems with your clients.

Boss: Pretty cold blooded, kid. I'm impressed, see? Mya.

Jack: A price must be payed for disobedience.

Shine: I like this guy!

"You all wouldn't if you all figured out what he really did." Blake responded.

The scene now shows a fancy hotel where the gang is now hanging out.

Boss: Boys, meet Jackie the Blade.

The camera shows Jack in a fancy, dark blue striped suit, with a nice tie, dress shoes, and a fancy fedora. All the guys were impressed and gave out comments he looks awesome and nice.

RWBY all blushed at Jack and Yang even added a purr to the mix.

"He looks quite dashing in a suit." Weiss commented with her face a bit red.

"I so agree to that, Weiss." Yang purred again.

Boss: With all the accouterments, see?

Jack even has his sword concealed under his coat.

Pibbles: Yeah, great. Uh, how come he gets the cool names? *Gets slapped by Knuckles*

RWBY all laughed.

Everyone settled down as the Boss, without his coat and hat, walks back and forth with a piece of chalk he tosses up and down while lecturing their current plan which is drawn on the board.

Boss: Alright, you knuckleheads, listen up. We're here to talk about a very big job. One a very special interest for the big boss himself.

Jack: Aku?

Boss: That's right, Jackie. Now nobody's ever pulled this one off, see? But with you on our side, we'll smoke it.

Jack: And we will get to meet Aku.

Boss: Mya. Not only do we get to meet him, but if we pull this off successfully, the big boss will make us richer beyond our wildest dreams, see?

"Sounds like these guys are really expecting to earn rewards if they are loyal to Aku." Blake commented.

"Well they are working for him and Aku rules the world and other worlds so it sounds obvious." Weiss answered.

The Boss removes a cloth that is covering some kind of miniature model of a skyscraper.

Boss: Boys, say hello to the Public Works and Utilities building.

Mr. Pibbles: *Waving at the model* Hello.

Ruby, Yang, and Blake were laughing while Stitches gave an expression saying "seriously?". Weiss internally agreed with Stitches.

"That aside, I like the design of the skyscraper. It looks really nice." Weiss commented.

Boss: It's a well kept secret that, deep inside this building, lies the legendary Neptune Jewel, see?

RWBY now sees a very beautiful, blue jewel that sparkles and shines, and it's even almost shaped like a water drop. Weiss stared at the jewel as her mouth was drooling and stars in her eyes at the beauty and elegance of the blue jewel.

Yang was waving her hand in front of Weiss' face but Weiss didn't respond.

"Looks like Weiss_ has failed to respond." Yang said with a smirk as all three girls were laughing at Weiss.

Weiss snapped out of it and blushed in embarrassment. "Don't look at me. I have an affinity for jewels." Weiss said in embarrassment as everyone focuses back on the screen.

Boss: And it's our job to get it out.

Pibbles: You mean, uh..... *points at the model* we gotta fit inside that little thing?

Cue in response, both Weiss and Stitches facepalmed with a slapping sound, while Ruby, Blake and Yang all bursted in laughter.

"What an idiot...." Weiss muttered.

"Man! Pibbles just makes my day!" Yang laughed.

Jack: What is the importance of this jewel?

RWBY all settled down and actually agreed with Jack's question.

"I agree. I wonder what makes this jewel so special." Blake said. "It almost resembles a gigantic chunk of Ice dust."

The Boss gives the answer.

Boss: Here's the short version, Jackie.

A flashback shows a giant mountain.

Boss: Long before you were born, or I was born, or anyone was born, the Neptune Jewel was kept inside this mountain, see?

Now they see some kind of pure, magical-looking goddess with blue eyes and flowing hair who is transferring some of her magical power into the jewel.

Boss: Now legend has it that it was placed there by an ancient spirit who gave the jewel special powers that would give it control over all the waters of the world, see? Mya.

RWBY was very awed and intrigued to hear that some kind of magical jewel can control all the water of the world, especially Weiss.

"Just imagine if something like that existed in Remnant and was a Water Dust crystal." Weiss said with wide eyes.

"I wonder." Blake said. "I've read stories and myths that Dust was created by mystical beings of nature and left them behind not too long before Man appeared on Earth. But it hasn't been confirmed either."

Then, a familiar evil figure appeared as he reached out and tried to grasp the jewels into his evil claws.

"Aku." RWBY all said bluntly at seeing the evil demon show up.

Boss: Naturally, Aku wanted the jewel's power so evil can control the world, which it should.

RWBY frowned at the last few words the boss said about Aku should have evil control the world. But before Aku could even touch the jewel, the water spirit appears before him and looks down on him while preparing a mystical ball of energy in her hand.

Boss: But then, this no good goody-two shoes, good for nothing got in the way, see?

Much to both RWBY's awe and amusement, they watch the water spirit throw her energy ball at Aku.... and it appears to HURT Aku as he screams and flails in pain.

Boss: I don't know how she did, but she beat our boss.

Then Aku is knocked off the mountain and plummets to the Earth.

"Woah. She just kicked Aku's ass!" Yang shouted.

"I'm impressed." Weiss agreed. "The only thing we've ever seen hurting Aku is Jack's sword. But this spirit must be made of some kind of magic that could at least harm him."

"So I guess Aku doesn't have control on one thing we just saw him failed to accomplish." Blake answered.

"Yep." Ruby agreed. "And don't forget he no longer has control on the archeologist canines and the Triceraquins anymore, either."

RWBY did remember that. Seems Jack is slowly breaking Aku's reigns on each segment of the world, one bit at a time.

They focused back on the show as they see something different.

Boss: And she summoned the forces of nature to guard it.

They see the bits of the earth made of stone and rock form and take shape into a gigantic figure that resembles an African Tribeswoman with ringed earrings and blue eyes.

Boss: Earth.

A tornado is summoned but also takes shape that resembles a duchess with a thick coat made of swirling winds. However, every few seconds, she changes into different shapes as she's wearing different clothing. She also has blue eyes.

Boss: Wind.

A fireball falls from the sky and crashes into the Earth as it molds and forms into a feminine looking being made of pure white flames with her lips and eyebrows made of orange flames. Also, the orange flames snake around like a feather boa which gives her an elegant appearance. Like the other two, she has blue eyes as well.

Boss: And Fire.

These guardians are the Elementals who surround the jewel.

RWBY was astonished at looking at these guardians made out of the elements of nature.

"Woah. She created sentient beings made of nature itself!" Yang said impressed as she favored the Fire guardian. Weiss likes the Wind guardian, Blake likes the Earth looking guardian and Ruby likes all three.

Boss: And so Earth, Wind, and Fire have guarded the jewel for centuries, see? Mya. Making it impossible for Aku to get his hands on it.

RWBY couldn't help but feel amused and satisfied as they watch each of the three elementals curbstomp Aku. Each of his expressions (minus one from Wind) is priceless to look at.

"I'm glad Aku has been taught not to mess with other beings that are proven to hurt him in general." Weiss said with a smile.

"I know. Even the looks on his face says it all." Blake also said with a smirk.

"Bet that dented his ego by a margin." Yang also smirked.

Boss: And since the big boss himself couldn't close the deal, it's been centuries since anybody has even thought about it.

The jewel shows to now reside in the mountain sized skyscraper and likely still guarded by the elemental guardians.

"So that jewel is likely now considered a legend and kept a secret." Weiss concluded.

Boss: So you see, see? You'd have to be pretty nuts to swipe the Neptune Jewel.

"With guards that are made of the elements of nature and easily wiping the floor with Aku, that does sound like it would take a fool to try that kind of stunt." Blake agreed.

Boss: At least, that's what I thought, until I saw Jackie here in action. The way you cleaned up them robot thugs back at the Blue Monkey made me think we're just nuts enough to pull this one off. So, are you game Jackie?

Jack: To stand in Aku's presence, I would consider no feat to great.

"Looks like Jack is game then." Ruby said with a smile that Jack is more than ready.

The whole gang cheers in rejoice.

Boss: Alright, here's the plan, Jackie. We strike this at midnight, see?

"Welp. Let's hope Jack makes it out in one piece when he gets in there." Yang announced.

Ruby feels excited for some action again.

The scene now shows Jack and the gang (minus the Boss) on a rowboat and heading towards the massive skyscraper. It's nighttime with the full moon shining brightly. Jack is meditating calmly as the gang members row.

RWBY remains silent as they continue to watch.

It wasn't silent much as massive storm drains on the side of the building poured out tons of water and making the sounds like waterfalls. Once they arrived, Jack got on the ladder and climbed up. He reached one of the giant drains and looks inside while being upside down (almost losing his fedora), then he he swings on the ceiling pipes and goes inside a pipe big enough for him to fit as he crawls through it. The further he went though, the less shallow the pipe was as it was being filled with water. Jack had no choice but to put his hat away, take a deep breath, and swam the rest of the way through the pipe until he exits the other side and is now in a wipe open space and Jack resurfaces.

"Looks like Jack is inside the interior now." Ruby stated as Jack looks around.

The interior is a wide open cavern like room with metallic walls and pipes. In the center of the room is a platform with stacked sections that resembles staircases and three giant torches surrounding a long thin spike where the Neptune Jewel floats inches above it while sparkling and making a high pitch humming sound.

"And there's the Neptune Jewel." Weiss said in slight bliss at seeing the marvel of the piece of magical jewelry.

"Still not used to the beauty of the jewel yet, Weiss?" Yang teased Weiss.

"Quiet you!" Weiss retorted.

Jack steps on the platform as he straightens his tie and looks around.... The Elemental guardians are nowhere to be found.

"The guardians are nowhere to be found.... Which is too easy." Blake summarized as her instincts tell her that the guardians are still here somewhere.

"Maybe they are asleep since it's likely no one has been here for a long time." Yang also guessed but she too admits that the jewel sitting there with no guards in sight makes it feel too easy for it to be robbed.

Even Jack is aware that this feels too easy. Either way, Jack needs to get the Jewel.

Jack takes a step forward.... and the platform glows brightly.

"Uh oh...." Ruby said as Jack likely set off a security alarm made by the Elementals.

"Here they come." WBY all said.

A flame appears on one of the torches as it spirals up and then turns into the Fire Guardian.

Stones started shifting from the second torch and turn into the Earth Guardian.

A tornado appears from third and final torch as it turns into the Wind Guardian.

The Elemental guardians surround the jewel as they stare down at this intruder who dares to trespass this sacred building that was once the mountain for the jewel to maintain control of all the water. Even to this day, they still owe their existence to protect the Neptune Jewel that their "Mother" created them to do, who is no longer here and left her "daughters" to guard her sacred treasure.

Now the intruder must be punished for his insolence.

RWBY felt worried Jack is gonna be facing an obstacle.... or, three, in this case, that Aku could not get passed. But they also feel confident Jack can do this.

Much to their dread and worry, Earth uses her Terrakinesis and closes off all the walls with the Earth, that close like a gaping maw, and even drains the water out, leaving Jack nowhere to run or hide.

"This is gonna be a tough one." Blake stated that Jack is gonna be facing quite a steep hill.

Jack draws his sword from under his suit and prepares for battle.

Earth towers over Jack as she shifts her arm into a massive sledge hammer and tries to crush Jack like a bug, but the samurai dodges as the hammer leaves a crater in the ground. But just as he dodged, Fire creates a sword made of pure flames and slashes the ground and leaves a trail of scorching fire, thankfully, Jack managed to dodge that too but was left open for Wind to lengthen her arm into a whip made of swirling wind and whips Jack that knocks him against the wall.

"Jack is sure having a hard time since they keep attacking him before he can even counter." Weiss stated.

"This is Jack we are talking about. I'm sure he can think of something to get around them and win." Ruby answered as she feels confident Jack can do this.

However, just as Jack gets back up, Earth begins shooting spiked projectiles made of stone from her hand that forced Jack to run and dodge as the projectiles impaled the ground. Fire makes her move and fires a volley of fireballs at Jack who managed to block and deflect most of them with skill... until he was too slow at the last one that burnt his left hand and also knocked his sword away.

RWBY cringed at seeing Jack's burnt hand. If he had aura, it would have prevented his hand from being burnt and lessened the pain.

"That's gotta hurt." Yang commented at the burnt hand.

But Jack ignores the pain and picks his sword back up and continues to fight. He now runs and hides behind one of the spiked rocks that Earth left and tries to formulate a plan but Earth raises her arms and shakes the entire ceiling which causes the house sized stalactites to drop. Jack was forced to run again as he almost got crushed by the massive stalactites but managed to barely avoid them.

RWBY sighed in relief but the three Elementals are now standing in front of Jack as they glare down at him.

One of them even spoke in a powerful, yet feminine, tone.

Fire: You will never possess the Neptune Jewel. You will not escape.

But Jack wasn't deterred as he smirks at them.

Jack: Come and get me.

Fire: Insolent Fool!

Jack turns around and runs away from them. He looks back to see if they are gaining on him but Fire turned into a fireball and is now in front of his path which forced him to turn around. Fire launches a massive fireball that rockets towards Jack.

"Look out, Jack!" Ruby shouted at Jack in worry he may get burned badly. "The fireball will incinerate you!"

Jack dodged the fireball as it hits the wall in a massive explosion but Fire now launches several smaller fireballs in greater numbers. Jack hid behind one of the stalactites in the ground to avoid the fireballs.... and one of them ricochets off the stalactite... and heading towards Wind.

Wind gets hit and becomes unstable as she's now a giant tornado that starts sucking up everything it's surroundings.

"Way to go, Fire guardian." Yang said sarcastically.

Fire is struggling to resist getting sucked into the tornado but she got overpowered and sucked in as she spins around inside the vortex. Jack hangs on tight to the stalactite (and his hat) to not get sucked in. Even Earth's weight and density couldn't resist either and she got sucked in too. Jack's lost his hat and his hair gets all messy from the winds, the walls broke apart and water started flooding in. The instability of the tornado, combined with fire, earth, and water caused a very unstable chain reaction that caused the three guardians.... To fuse into some kind of tangled mess as they all scream in pain and failed their mission.

RWBY was greatly disturbed at the scenery.

"Woah... that's scary just looking at them being all messed up." Yang commented with a slightly disturbed look. The other girls also agreed

"At least they are beaten and Jack can now get the jewel and get out of here." Blake stated.

"Not to mention Jack didn't even hit the guardians with his sword, not even once." Weiss finished.

True to what the faunus said, the area is now being flooded and Jack knows it's time to go. Jack runs up the jewel, jumps up, grabs it, and dives into the water while catching his hat.

Meanwhile, back outside, the gang is still patiently waiting for Jack. Pibbles suddenly notices something.

Pibbles: Hey! Look!

The water stops flowing out of the pipes and Jack appears with the jewel in his hands as he holds it up in victory.

Pibbles: He did it!

"Looks like Jack has accomplished what Aku couldn't." Blake said with a smile.

"Yes!" Ruby agreed. "And it was awesome!"

The gang happily cheer and congratulate Jack and the scene now shows the Gang inside Aku's castle (The same solid flame interior from last episode.).

"Looks like we are going to see Aku again." Weiss said as they all watch quietly.

"But where's Jack?" Ruby asked as Jack is nowhere to be seen.

But no one can answer as Aku already appears.

Aku: Who dares to summon.... Oh. It is you.

Based on his tone, RWBY can tell Aku isn't pleased to see these guys.

"Huh.... Aku doesn't sound pleased seeing this gang who said they work for him." Ruby stated.

"Probably because these guys can't really do much since they look like a joke." Yang also said.

The Boss has his hat off in order to show some respect to the demon as he tries to keep his composure.

Boss: Ah, yes. You see, uh...

Aku: Did you forget that you are forbidden to come here?

"Oh. And now Aku is saying he forbids them which likely means he doesn't like them that something happened in general made him ban them from ever coming to his lair." Blake said. "Either he hates them for being a joke or he just doesn't like them." She finished.

"Probably both." Weiss said. "Because they already don't look threatening since we first saw them."

Boss: Uh, yeah, boss. Uh, I know. But, uh... we really got something. Something big, see?

Aku: *annoyed* What can you possibly possess the almighty Aku cannot attain?

"Something that you failed many times to even try to get near it." Yang said with a grin as if she's mocking Aku.

The boss opens a box that he holds before Aku.

Boss: The Jewel of Neptune.

This got Aku's attention.

Aku: What?! It cannot be! The power to control all the water of the world.

Aku happily plucks the jewel between his finger and thumb like a grape.

Boss: For you, my lord.

Aku now holds what he has attempted and failed countless times to have now has it in his clutches.

Aku: Yes. It truly is the magical jewel.

However, Aku can't help but feel curious how this worthless gang could even get past those elemental guardians that he could not defeat and get the jewel in question.

Aku: But how did such an elusive treasure come in your possession?

"From someone you know too well." Weiss commented.

Boss: Well, it wasn't easy, master. We got a little help from our newest member. Come on out, Jackie!

Aku: Jackie?

RWBY and Aku sees a silhouette walk into his lair from the entrance. His body shape seems familiar for some reason and his face is covered by his fedora.

Jack: ...Actually... It's Jack.

Jack shows his face to his nemesis, making sure it's the last thing Aku will see in his existence.

Aku: YOU!?

Jack draws his sword and charges towards his arch enemy at the top of his lungs.

"Get him, Jack!" Ruby and Yang shouted as they cheered for Jack.

However, the gang seems confused here.

Pibbles: Uh, what the heck is going on man?!

Jack jumps and swings but Aku moves out of the way.

Aku: You will not defeat me so easily!

Just as Jack lands on a platform, Aku rakes Jack's back with a swipe that left Jack yelling in pain and the back of his shirt partially shredded and some claw marks visible.

RWBY cringed.

"That's gotta sting." Weiss winced at seeing the claw marks.

But Jack ignored the pain and continues to fight.

Jack: Yes. It won't be easy but it will be worth the effort.

He jumps and slashes Aku which shreds his side open.

Aku: AAAAAAAHHHHHH! The sword!

But the gang is still confused at what's going on.

Pibbles: Uh, why is Jackie fighting the big boss, Boss?

Boss: I don't know, see? But we better save Jackie before he ain't no more.

"I think they don't realize what Jack's real intentions are here." Blake stated.

The fight continues as Jack jumps from platform to platform as Aku keeps trying to avoid that sword he dreads to get slashed by until Jack got a good hit on him.

Aku screams again and shape shifts. When Jack looked back... he gasped at Aku's form which is a King Taijitu sized cobra. Aku lunges forward with his mouth wide open and attempts to devour Jack but misses since Jack is jumping all over the place. Jack slashes but Aku leans back and devours Jack who was helpless in midair.

RWBY gasped in shock at seeing their favorite samurai get eaten.

"This can't be over, Jack! Keep fighting!" Ruby shouted.

Aku smirks and thinks he won.... Then his entire inside gets sliced open and his head sliced off by Jack. Aku's "splashed" on the ground and barely takes his normal form, as he's groaning in pain, indicating he took a lot of damage and weakened. Jack towers over him in a similar position that resembles one from their first battle.

"This moment does seem familiar." Blake commented as they watch Jack raise his sword over Aku, making sure he won't make the same mistake.

Jack: No tricks will save you this time, Aku.

"Finish him, Jack!" Both Ruby and Yang shouted to the samurai.

But just as Jack was gonna destroy Aku.... a club from someone hits him in the back of the head.... hard.

Jack blacks out.

"Wait?! What?!" Ruby and Yang shouted in disbelief that Jack's chance was thwarted. Weiss and Blake were also in disbelief too.

Jack regains his senses and opens his eyes.

Jack: *Jumps up* Aku!

Boss: Easy there, Jackie boy.

Jack: Wha- Where am I?!

RWBY was full of disbelief where Jack is right now.... back at the hotel.

Jack was SO close to finishing Aku.... and it slipped away once again.

"He was about to finish off Aku..... and they stopped him from doing that...." Weiss sighed in disappointment.

Jack: What happened?!

Stitches: *Chuckles* Can you believe this guy?

Boss: What happened Jackie was that we saved your life.

"I think you all misunderstand what Jack was doing." Blake told them bluntly.

Jack: *Serious* You what?

Boss: Well, you see, you lost your mind back there and started to duke it out with the big boss himself.

Pibbles: So, uh, we nailed ya over the head, man! *Laughs* WHAM! Lights out! And, uh, here we are.

Stitches: Yeah, and, we saved ya, before Aku had the chance to put you out of commission permanently.

RWBY all facepalmed in frustration at hearing what the gang just said.

"They did that because they thought he was in danger...." Yang commented with a neutral expression.

"And Jack was just about to slay Aku..." Ruby also said in disappointment.

Jack was so frustrated that he held his hand against his head.

Jack: I cannot believe this!

"We all can't either, Jack." Weiss said to Jack. "You were so close to beating Aku for good and they just had to knock you out for thinking you were in danger."

Boss: What's not to believe? We saved ya, liked ya saved us.

Jack: No! You do not understand! You must take me back immediately!

Boss: Aren't you listening, Jackie? We can't take you back. Aku would destroy you, see? Mya.

"Why would you think Jack would be destroyed? He was fighting Aku right before your eyes." Yang told them as if she's lecturing them.

Boss: Besides, we couldn't, even if we wanted to. When we dragged you out, Aku's castle disappeared. Who knows where it would pop up next.

After taking all that in, Jack remained silent and shuts his eyes in grief. He walks over to a window and looks out at the world.....

Boss: Hey what's this all about, anyway? You got some kind of death wish or something?

"It would be one long night, if he told you." Weiss deadpanned.

Jack: No. You don't understand..... *Sighs* I have deceived you.

Pibbles: Hey, you mean, uh..... You ain't one of us, man?

"Never was from the start." Blake answered.

Jack: No. You are criminals. It is not honorable. You see, long ago land was good, it's people honest, but Aku came and....

Jack couldn't say the rest as he looks like he's full of grief.

"Turned it into whatever it is now." Yang finished.

Jack: It does not matter. My quest continues.

RWBY all sighed.

Jack: I'm sorry about the deception but it had to be done. Now if you please, the jewel.

Boss: Uh, we don't have it, see? We gave it to Aku.

"Like you really did give it to him." Blake said seriously.

Jack looks at Pibbles.

Jack: Mr. Pibbles?

Pibbles started sheepishly chuckling until he had to spill the beans.

Pibbles: Yeah, during all the commotion....

He takes off his hat and the jewel is perfectly balanced on his head.

Pibbles: I, uh.... I kept it. You know, for uh.... safe keeping.

"Uh huh. I'm sure you were." Weiss sarcastically said to the idiot of the gang.

Jack happily takes the jewel.

Jack: Thank you. I must return it to it's proper place.

Boss: Wait, Jackie, uh, let us do it.

Ruby raised an eyebrow in confusion but the other three girls raised theirs out of suspicion.

Jack: Why?

Boss: Well, uh, all this crime business has suddenly put, uh, a bad taste in my mouth, yeah. Yeah, we're going legit, see? Mya. And for the first gig, we return the jewel. It is the honorable thing to do. Mya.

Ruby was now confused and feels convinced they are being honest but WBY ain't as they narrow their eyes. Weiss has heard and seen a lot business partners her father works with also say things like that. Yang and Blake aren't fooled that easily either since Yang and Blake also met people in places who are gangs and the White Fang respectively, and the like.

Never trust a gang member.

But Jack seems convinced and happily hands the boss the jewel.

Jack: I feel you will be happier on the path of righteousness.

"At least those guys would be turning over a new leaf." Ruby tried to sound happy about it but WBY didn't answer.

Jack: Goodbye.

Jack heads out and shuts the door behind him.

Boss: Yeah, I think we will too... sucker!

"Thought so." WBY all said at once with a nuetral look.

"Wait. They lied?" Ruby said confused and in shock of seeing these guys just made Jack look like a fool.

Pibbles: Step right up! Get your water! Right here, only! 500 smackers per ounce!

RWBY now sees the gang has hooked up the jewel to some kind of machine that is producing fresh water and selling it at a high price.

The Boss is polishing the jewel and winks at RWBY.

After that, RWBY decided to say their review on it.

"That was an epic episode for action and the like, it was really good." Weiss said.

"Yeah! Jack did a lot of awesome action!" Ruby agreed.

"And I loved those elemental guardians and Jack dressing up in a nice suit. Purrr~

"As for the gang." Blake said. They may not look intimidating but they fooled Jack and kept the jewel for money making."

"That's what I'm wondering." Ruby said. "They lied to Jack and kept it for themselves and they get off scot free?"

"Welp. I guess that's how it ends." Yang said.

"Either way, at least Aku doesn't have it." Blake concluded. "It was a good episode, in general, with some nice action, jazz music, and a heist type of mission that was good."

RWBY now decides to watch the last episode for tonight as Ruby puts in the next disc and hits play.
