(Sunday)
RWBY was peacefully sleeping in their beds and were glad they could sleep in a little longer. However, they still train, even on weekends. Their alarm rang and the four young huntresses in training all woke up, showered, got dressed, and prepared for the day.
Zwei also woke up and watched his owners (yes, Blake included) getting ready. They leave his dog food (and that can opener he can use by himself.... somehow) next to his bed with a dish of water to keep him hydrated. RWBY has planned for the day they will go to downtown Vale with JNPR and CFVY for the day since Beacon has the day off so students can go do what they want. They even planned to to to the park to just enjoy their day.
"Be a good boy, Zwei. We're going to Vale for a while to get supplies, food, and Dust." Ruby cheerfully said to Zwei as he happily jumped in her arms and licked her face which caused the scythe wielder to giggle. Zwei then jumped in Yang's arms and also licked her face. Weiss baby talked the corgi like she always does because he's too adorable. Blake..... did her best to keep a straight face while scratching his belly. Blake went ahead while the three other girls said their final goodbye and closed the door as they left.
As they were eating at a restaurant, JNPR recalled watching the first three episodes of Samurai Jack and they loved it; the story, the action, the scenery, and the morals were astounding to JNPR that they wanted to see more.
JNPR admired Jack and also despised Aku that he almost resembles an evil Grimm with immense power. JNPR watched Jack grow up through his training and became the warrior he is now. They felt sad how his family was enslaved and how he never dealt the final blow to Aku and was, instead, sent to the future. The final battle against the beetle drones also gave JNPR chills as they watched Jack slaughtering the drones as oil resembled blood leaking out as he bisects or decapitates them. JNPR appreciate Jack's skill and determination to find his way home and wish to go back to his native time.
CFVY so happened to be there too and caught interest of the show and wished to watch it. So RWBY agreed for CFVY to watch the first three episodes and JNPR to see the next three episodes that RWBY just saw last night.
After shopping and having fun, RWBY returned to their dorms as Zwei happily barks to greet his owners return. RWBY then gave the Samurai Jack episodes to JNPR and CFVY.
RWBY settled down for tonight as they prepare snacks and drinks for the next episode as Ruby puts in the disc and hits play.
After the awesome intro that they have yet to get used to, RWBY now comes across forest in the middle of fall.
The sky was clear with no clouds in sight as the sun hovered in the center. The chirping of the birds echoed throughout the peaceful forest as the leaves gently fell from their branches and onto the ground in piles.
RWBY noticed that the trees don't look like any trees they've seen before; the trees appear to fit in the coniferous family but they still don't look like any Remnant has defined or discovered as the branches droop down, spread out into smaller branches on the sides, and the leaves are close together at the tips.
RWBY felt so calm and free spirited of seeing such a marvelous piece of art that it's just as astonishing as the Forever Fall (The forest with red leaves).
"This forest. It feels so spiritual... and breathtaking." Blake said in awe. She remembered being in the Forever Fall as she remembered sitting on that rock as she stared at the broken moon with the leaves blowing gently in the wind. Her three friends nodded in agreement as they were impressed that whoever drew and colored this background, they give him/her credit for that.
After nearly a minute of complete silence, the rocks on the ground begin to shake and quake from a distant rumbling sound as it gets closer by the second. Rabbits and birds scurry and fly away for their lives as the disturbance gets closer.
The camera moves over and shows a wooden vehicle rolling ahead. Not far behind is an entire army of metallic viking robots marching in synch as more vehicles that resemble viking ships are rolling forward and spewing blue flames.
RWBY was confused, but also curious, where this army is heading too and why.
"Are they going to fight another army.... or Jack? Cause that would be cool!" Ruby said in delight.
"If Aku sent an army of beetle drones, then I presume he also sent this army after him." Weiss guessed.
"Then we get to see more epic action!" Yang boasted. She loves watching Jack in action.
RWBY watches and sees that the army are all armed and dangerous. Many of the viking soldiers wield swords, spears, axes, laser guns, and shields.
Many vehicles had viking elements mixed with their futuristic tech attached to them. Some have cannons, some have axes, some had saws (which Ruby REALLY liked), some even have ball and chains that whirl around. Ruby was drooling at all the awesome weapons and vehicles while Yang was also staring at the awesome vehicles that she wishes she could drive.
What's most unsettling are the robots themselves. Unlike the Atlestian Knights with visors similar to that of motorcycle helmets, these robots had toxic-green eyes that gave a very creepy glare and human like teeth in their mouths as they march forward without concern of their surroundings or well being (likely because they are programmed to be like that.
"Seeing robots with actual eyes is making me a little creeped out just by staring at them." Weiss admitted. Even Yang, the most fearless member of RWBY, is also somewhat creeped out.
At the back end of the army are a group of the robots pulling a large ship by ropes. And standing on the edge of the ship is what RWBY guess is their commander and leader of the army just by his appearance. He's a big burly, hunched, and scar-covered guy wearing viking armor, the skin of some kind of carnivorous animal he wears, a red arrow lodged in his helmet, his right eye is shut tight, and his skin is pale white with his left eye pink (which may indicate he could be albino).
"That guy does look like he's been through a lot of war and whatever else." Yang said at this guy's appearance.
"Yeah. And based on his army, I assume he must of been through a lot of wars." Blake also added.
The army has just came to the edge of the forest that borders a wide open clearing which spans over a mile. In the center of the clearing.... is a tall stone tower that resembles a rook chess piece.
"A tower?" RWBY all said in question.
"I was expecting another army, but why a single tower?" Yang questioned.
"Yeah. And there isn't any line of defenses in the clearing if this tower is worth protecting." Weiss added.
"Don't judge a book by covers." Blake said. "You'll never know what could be out there or what the tower holds." The girls realize that and watch in anticipation.
The music changed the tone to a slow but tension rising tone as the entire army stares at the at the goal they are tasked to claim as they all clench their weapons tightly.
After a few more seconds of silence.
General: CHARGE!
The horn blows that echoes across the clearing as the entire army charges from the forest and towards the castle at full force, along with their vehicles thundering alongside the stampeding viking robots. Even from a bird's eye view, the army looks like an army of ants approaching the tower to consume it as they draws closer.
"I wonder what the tower holds that makes this general want to go a full on assault on that tower." Weiss wondered. There has be to be a reason this general is assaulting this tower.
"Could be treasure." Ruby said.
The tower still looks helpless as no signs of defenses are seen....
Until now.
A massive volley of red arrows spring from the tower in hundreds, if not thousands, and rain down from above on the unfortunate army below who look up at the sudden defensive attack.
"Holy cow! That's a lot of arrows!" Ruby said in surprise and how awesome that is. Weiss, Blake and Yang were also a bit shocked seeing that many arrows fired in such a rapid succession to make it look like it's raining death.
"Based on the amount of arrows fired in such little time, there must be a lot of archers in that tower." Blake said with impression. Not a lot of huntsman can shoot arrows that fast, even if using three or four at once.
The first viking robot gets punctured by at least half a dozen arrows in the face and chest (which is impressive and scary that these are some serious robot-puncturing arrows), and explodes. Not long after, two more get punctured and explode that were trying to shoot the tower. Then another becomes the next pin cushion as it falls flat on it's face and explodes, destroying it's nearby comrades, while others that didn't explode just fall over and drop dead.
RWBY keeps watching more and more get covered in arrows and explode at the front lines with shock and awe.
"Good thing those are only robots covered in metal and not people covered in flesh." Weiss shivered.
"Yeah. We saw Jack already get cuts and bruises and we already know he lacks aura." Yang added. Even if they were robots, it's still scary to see them get punctured by those dreaded arrows.
Even the vehicles are unable to withstand those arrows either as the tread tracks get punctured by some... and deflates like a balloon (somehow). The buzzsaw driver too got a handful and detonated. The wrecking ball wasn't lucky either as it crashes into the ground and knocks it's teammates in the air who also get punctured by the projectiles before hitting the ground. One that was driving a tank with two plasma cannons didn't even had time to aim and fire as the arrows killed him which caused him to lean forward in his seat, accidentally pushing the controls forward that made the plasma cannons aim down and shoot it's own comrades.
"Friendly fire, inbound!" Ruby shouted in excitement at the awesome tank using it's own weapons.... even if it was friendly fire by accident.
One robot was driving a tank with axes, instead of cannons, and was somehow able to go further by swinging its axes and cutting some of the arrows.... until one arrow hit the axe hilt which cause the axe to spiral in the air.... and bisects another nearby robot in two.
"Man. I almost pity those machines not catching a break." Yang said as one robot lost both it's arms and then get impaled and destroyed.
RWBY saw nothing but arrows. Arrows here, arrows there, arrows stuck in the ground, arrows impaling robots, arrows impaling vehicles and weapons. It was just nothing but arrows as every robot gets impaled by them and the general watches back in horror.
After the last explosion settled and the smoke clearing..... RWBY was actually terrified of what they saw as a haunting tune of music starts to play. What was once an open field with autumn grass now looked like a graveyard filled with nothing but the metallic corpses of the once proud army of the robotic vikings as they all lay scattered and covered by the arrows that killed them.
This wasn't even a battle.... It was slaughter fest.
"It wasn't even a full minute." Blake muttered. Indeed, that battle didn't even last a single minute the moment those arrows came down like the feathers of a Nevermore.
"W-who shot those arrows?" Weiss said with a slight stutter.
The camera slowly moved upward from the wreckage to the tower.
RWBY went wide eyed as a different chilling tune played in.
Even from a distance, on top of the tower were three humanoid figures. Each wielding a red bow, they were standing still after successfully terminating the threat that wasn't even a challenge to them.
RWBY was silent when they saw them for a second.
"No way..... it took three archers to beat them all?!" Weiss said in disbelief. As much as she was scared, Ruby couldn't help but silently mutter the word "awesome" in silence.
"From what we saw throughout the series, so far, it's not impossible to see archers destroy entire armies in moments." Blake said but even she was impressed and shocked these three archers easily won.
"I could go through those arrows and get to that tower without breaking a sweat!" Yang boasted as RWB sweatdropped.
The camera focuses on a random robot that is lying on the ground and lying still.... then it let off a few sparks which instantly resulted more arrows impaling the already downed robot as it exploded to smithereens.
That caught RWBY off guard.
"Woah. These guys mean business." Yang said astonishingly. Blake seemed interested for a second why they would attack an already downed opponent as it left a few sparks.
Now the scene changed that they are in a boat and they see the general sitting in a chair as he talks to a crewmember who listens.
General: I, alone, was the only survivor.
RWBY all raised an eyebrow.
"Survivor? How are you a survivor if you were the only one laying back and watching your army get torn apart never being caught in the crossfire?" Weiss said as if she's talking to the general. "That makes you more of a coward."
"Probably because he wanted it to sound exaggerating so he doesn't make himself look bad." Blake added as she took a bite of her popcorn. "No one else was there."
"Except us. We are the only other witnesses so he's caught red handed if we told them." Yang joked.
General: My entire robot army, completely annihilated! In my dreams I still see arrows falling like rain!
Patron: What does the tower hold that would make you sacrifice an entire army.
Patron: Treasure? Gold? Rrrrubies?
General: BAH! Nothing as materialistic as treasure.
RWBY listened as they felt curious what the tower holds that's more valuable than treasure.
General: At the top of the tower is a mystical well. The Well of King Ozerick. Those who reach the infamous well, are granted one... wish. Your greatest desire.
RWBY felt even more interested again. When they were younger children, they read stories about mystical items and places that grant wishes but there are not a lot of stories involving wishes, let alone magic. The best story to have magic involved is the Four Maidens.
"If I got to that well. I wish for the most awesomest weapon!" Ruby cheered.
"I wish I could shapeshift." Yang said.
"Mine would be to fix my father's company." Weiss whispered as her teammates comforted her for a second.
"I wish humans and faunus could live in peace together." Blake simply said as she also earned comfort from her friends too. That would definitely be her wish she desires.
At the same time, they also see Jack sitting at a nearby table and wearing a straw hat as he calmly eats but he heard what the general is talking about and closely listens.
"Talk about a good sense of timing." Ruby pointed out.
But the General was interrupted.
Lil Guy (Yes. That's what the credits told me of his name): Get out of the Great Kahn's chair! What are you, telling stories again?! Get swabbing the deck or I will toss you overboard! You has-been!
The general get's out of chair that doesn't belong to him as he gathers a mop and bucket and goes swabbing the decks.... RWBY was dumbfounded that they thought this powerful general owns this ship and turns out he's a janitor of it.
"Well..... that makes us wanna take him less seriously." Yang said in slight amusement.
"Well, seeing a powerful general rule an army and now swabbing the deck makes me wanna laugh." Blake admitted with a smirk. All the girls giggled as they imagined Ironwood being a janitor in a decent restaurant.
As the general was about to go out and do his business the lil guy told him to, Jack stops him for a second and humbly asks him what he heard.
Jack: Excuse me. Is this place you speak of.... real?
General: Of course! As of a matter of fact, we're passing it now. *Points* There!
RWBY and Jack sees an island not to far away. It's also Winter now since snow is falling and the trees are covered in snow.
General: In the center of that mist-shrouded isle.... lies the treasure of King Ozerick.
Jack: Thank you. *About to walk across the deck.*
The general was baffled and even shocked this mysterious stranger to him just starts walking towards one of the rafts that will take him to the island.
General: Huh? What? Wait! I beg you, reconsider. There are only three archers, yet, they decimated my whole army. You are just one man! Do the math. Why attempt it?
"Jack isn't just one man; he's a one man army." Yang said with a smirk.
Jack: That well could get me home.
General: There are others ways to get home.
Jack:...Not for me.
RWBY could hear the tone in Jack's voice that the general wouldn't understand what he specifically meant.
"He means he wants to go to his original timeline where he belongs." Ruby said in slight sympathy. RWBY still feels sorry for Jack but they now hope he can get to the well and grant his wish.
Jack hops aboard on a motor powered raft and sets off to the island. The sun was just beginning to rise over the horizon as he reached the island. Once he sets foot, what lies ahead of him is the forest that appears to go on forever. Jack wastes no time and walks forward and towards the place where the tower resides.
RWBY hears nothing but the howling wind and the occasional chirping of birds as the samurai calmly walks through the winter themed forest. Ruby was actually starting to have flashbacks as she remembered this reminded her of the time she visited her mother's grave last winter and she too was calmly walking through the forest in the middle of winter.
After some time, Jack walked past a tree with what appears to be snow smothered near the bottom of the tree that appears... to be a creepy skull with a written text that says.... "GO BACK".
Jack takes notice of that warning and continues to walk forward again and actually arrives to the same clearing.... with the tower in plain sight. Ruby again feels familiar with this since she also moved to an open field from the woods after she visited her mother's grave.
The tower remains standing as it did last fall while covered in snow on the sides. As for the clearing, it was still littered with those robot remains as they slowly rust in the frozen field that is considered the graveyard to the fallen viking bots. Though, most of them are buried under the snow, some are still visible on the surface, but it's still chilling for RWBY to look at. The music wasn't helping either.
"I hope Jack knows what he's doing." Ruby whispers as she, her sisters, and two friends watch Jack stand at the border in silence.
The music stops.
Jack slowly moves his arms out of his sleeves that were concealed from the cold.
Jack is keenly aware the guardians are out there in that tower so he needs to keep his guard up.
Just as he takes a step forward, Jack spreads his big and second toes apart a split second before a stray arrow impales his sandal.
RWBY was quite surprised the archers just shot an arrow right when Jack set foot in a split second.
"Already? Wow. They must be taking their guard duty VERY seriously." Yang said astonished.
Jack slowly looks up from under his straw hat with a slight frown. He steps forward again and spreads all his toes apart as three more arrow came down and missed the toes.
"Those archers are not fooling around, are they?" Weiss added. Though, Blake was narrowing her eyes for a different reason. She notices the arrows went for his foot instead of anything vital such as his head or chest. Sure, going for the foot is used as a warning is one thing but she senses there must be a different reason, especially if they are guarding something more valuable than simple treasure.
Jack slowly takes another step forward, and once his foot touched the ground which scrunched up the snow beneath his sandal, more arrows came towards him which made Jack jump back.
Right when Jack kept his distance, the archers appear.
Jack stands still and waits for the archers to make a move so he could find a way to draw closer.
"Something is bugging me." Blake muttered.
"What do you mean, Blake?" Ruby asked.
"Those archers are not attacking him at the moment and only attack when he makes a move." Blake answered.
"They could be giving him a warning." Weiss said.
"True. That could be one possibility but I sense a different reason. Blake added.
"How so?" Yang asked.
"If impaling that last robot that was already down when it set off sparks, then they should have done the same to Jack for doing something as simple as taking a step forward." Blake added.
"Wait. Are you saying..." Weiss said slowly in confusion.
Before Blake could answer, a slight breeze comes by and makes Jack's right sleeve flap in wind. RWBY sees a canine ear ear twitch and then they see the arrows tear up the sleeves. Jack was shocked at what just happened as he backs off but gets backed up into a tree as a few arrows barely miss him but impale the tree. Jack looks up, and much to his and RWBY's horror, a single arrow is heading straight for his face.
"Watch out, Jack!" Ruby shouted in fright.
The arrow draws closer as Jack is cornered against the tree and he can't move due to the arrows lodging him by his sleethes. Jack makes a risky move that might just work.
He flips the sword out of the hilt with his thumb as the arrow is a few feet from his face. The sword managed to intercept the arrow's path and the arrow splits in half as it runs into the sharp edge of the blade.
RWBY was stunned and impressed of the perfect timing and precision of Jack performing a feat he just did.
"Wow." Ruby muttered.
Jack moves out of the arrows which result his sleeves getting ripped, showing off his fairly muscular arms as he catches his sword and hides behind the tree. The moment he sheathes his sword, a bunch of arrowheads are poking out of the tree's side and inches from Jack's face.
"This isn't gonna be easy for Jack, especially out in the open with no cover to hide from the arrows." Weiss said.
The archers are just standing there, almost like they are statues, as they are waiting for Jack to make a move until in which he either attacks or leaves. Jack looks up into the sky and sees the sun is shining brightly which gives him an idea.
He decides to use some of the oldest tricks in the books.
He runs forward and uses his sword to reflect the sunlight to blind his foes so he can get close.
"Using the sunlight to blind your enemies. Very clever." Blake said.
But the archers are not affected, for some reason, as they shoot more arrows at Jack. Jack and Ruby, Weiss, Yang, and Jack are confused why it didn't work but that made Blake even more convinced the reason why.
Jack dodges the barrage by rolling through the snow and chopping more incoming arrows with his sword as he takes cover behind the same tree.
"Why didn't that trick work? It should have blinded those archers." Weiss said slightly confused.
Jack also wondered why his trick didn't work and decided to try a theory. He took his straw hat off and waved it out to the archers while being safe behind the tree.
The archers don't respond.
"And now they aren't attacking?" Yang said confused.
Jack raises an eyebrow. Then he lets go of his hat which gently fell to the ground and scrunched the snow up a bit. Once it did, the poor hat was filled with arrows a second later.
Jack was a bit surprised at the moment. He glares at the archers... and was shocked.
The camera zooms up to the archers for RWBY to get a good look at the archers...which gave the girls slight chills.
The archers hardly looked "human". They had humanoid shaped torsos, hands and feet. Their bodies were pitch black as the Grimm that Ruby encountered last year when she visited her mother's grave (in fact, the archers even resembled grimm but without the bone-like armor and red markings). Their heads resembled those of canines, including the canine like ears, but their snouts looked like arrowheads. But the most unsettling characteristic of them.... were their eyes. The eyes lacked the features; no pupils, no iris, no eyelids.... just two white orbs completely devoid of life.
RWBY couldn't help but shiver at the mere sight of the archers. Even their music is uncanny.
"They're blind...." Weiss whispered.
"Which explains it all. They use their hearing." Blake added which confirmed her guess of how the archers behaved. They use their sonar like hearing to pinpoint their targets at vasts distances with impressive accuracy. No wonder they easily defeated that army and giving Jack a hard time.
"So how is Jack going to beat them?" Ruby questioned.
The scene now changes to a waterfall in the middle of the forest. Underneath the waterfall is Jack meditating directly under the waterfall.... almost naked.
Jack concentrates as he looks back to one of his training sessions before he fought Aku for the first time. RWBY now sees him in a temple as he wears a blindfold and battling a few fellow monks that are participating in his training. He managed to block a few punches but eventually got overwhelmed as he falls to the ground and coughing from the painful punches and kicks.
He takes off his blindfold in frustration and stares at his teacher.
Jack: It's no use. No one can fight like this.
But his teacher remains calm.
Sifu: A great warrior must be in tune with all of his senses. Only then will you be able to extend your awareness so that you may fight on any level. Try again.
Jack: Yes, Sifu.
Jack opens his eyes while still meditating.
Jack: I must fight on their level.
It's true. While some humans do in fact practice with their other senses, most don't. Faunus, one the other hand, are the ones that train all of their senses to gain the advantage on their enemies. Blake had trained mostly on her hearing due to being a cat faunus. Out of every known type of faunus in history, the bat faunus are the champions at hearing in pitch blackness. Now RWBY is interested if Jack can match his hearing with a faunus.
Jack is now, standing in the middle of the woods... almost naked (RWBY, especially Yang who was grinning, were blushing at his muscular chest and abs) and puts a blindfold on.
Nothing but pitch blackness.... until he hears something.
Nearby, he hears the sounds of scraping and the sound of something being chewed up. It was a deep softly scraping the snow away and eating fresh grass. Then he wears something flapping at a rapid pace which belongs to a few bird flapping their wings to stay warm.
Blake is a bit impressed since she can also hear those kinds of sounds at quite a distance.
Jack then hears the howling winds above him, the sounds of a babbling brook, the sounds of a water drop dripping and making a splash in a small pond.
"My word. Jack's senses are getting more acute." Weiss said astonished.
What shocked RWBY even more... is that he can even hear chiming of snowflakes descending and hitting the ground as they shatter and make low pitched chiming sounds. It was beautiful to watch, especially Weiss, at seeing the snowflakes.
After a while of hearing everything and their locations, Jack uttered three words.
Jack: I am ready.
The scene returns to the tower again with the archers on guard since they know Jack would come back.
Jack is still almost naked and barefoot. Which is impressive since he shows little to no discomfort in the extremely cold temperatures and not to mention doing the same thing under a waterfall in the middle of winter. Most huntsman and huntresses use their aura (and Yang uses a little bit of her semblance) to keep warm and such. A person walking out in winter with no clothes and no aura is a death sentence but Jack is doing all of this and seems completely fine.
RWBY still was entranced at Jack's rock hard body (and so did Coco, Velvet, NDGO, and many other girls who watched the series) but they had to take that off their minds since Jack is going up against his foes.
Another thing RWBY realizes.... he's doing it with a blindfold.
"He's gonna fight them blindfolded?" Ruby said in slight confusion.
"Like he said, he's gonna fight them at their own game." Blake answered.
"Let's hope he knows what he's doing." Weiss said. Yang just simply purred at Jack's physique.
The tension was thick as Jack and the archers just stood still as if they are waiting for the other to make their move.
Jack sprinted forward like an olympic runner in a 100 yard dash which alerted the archers and pulled their arrows back, ready to fire, which gave Jack an early heads up. The archers open fire as the arrows fly towards Jack but his now enhanced hearing warns him of the incoming arrows which results him moving out of the way and continues to run forward. Now it was a battle of skill, timing, and precision as the archers keep hearing Jack's location as they try to turn him into a pincushion while Jack keeps using his own hearing to pinpoint the constant barrage of arrows that are coming his way and dodging them.
Another thing RWBY noticed is that the archers have no quivers to hold their arrows and the arrows just seem to magically appear on their bows after they fired the last arrow and repeat.
Jack finally did a mile and dodging of running and got to the tower, a feat the army failed to achieve. The archers stopped firing and their ears were pointing and turning in many directions to find their opponent's location. Two of them split up and faced each ends of the tower while the presumed the leader stayed put in the current spot he stood.
RWBY was impressed Jack never got hit and crossed the whole mile at that.
Jack (somehow) reached the top of the tower and dodged a few arrows that lodged into the stones and made an astounding leap in the air. RWBY now sees in the center of the tower is some kind of well that the guardian has talked about. As Jack descends, the archers can hear him.... which isn't good.
"Looks like Jack is in a tight spot now." Weiss said in slight concern.
The moment Jack landed down in the center, all three archers turned and fired at Jack.
The climax reached the peak as time slowed down and three arrows are less than a foot away from Jack's face.
RWBY, especially Ruby who thinks Jack is gonna be a goner, went wide eyed at the situation that could lead to death. Jack's ears hear the sound of flapping vanes coming from three different directions. The only solution Jack can think of is ducking which he did.
Jack dodged three arrows nearly at point blank range... while wearing a blindfold. Huntsmen and huntresses have dodged and blocked bullets, which are faster than arrows, but what Jack did without any aura or semblance, especially with a blindfold, is still impressive enough to a huntsman.
The three arrows slowly collided... which created a bright light... and each arrow was redirected and impaled the archers. Jack took off his blindfold.
He defeated the archers without even have to draw his sword.
RWBY all sighed in relief but now watched in interest as the archers now seem to wither in pain and electrical energy snakes across their bodies. But the moment it appears they are melting.... It turns out the black stuff is melting off the bodies... of three human?! (Well, not exactly human... more like gingerbread man-shaped humans.)
RWBY was a bit surprised at this, as much as Jack was.
The black stuff that's now liquified slowly melts off of the three humanoids and slowly creep into the well as the well is now filled with a toxic black liquid that bubbles and giving off some kind of creepy shrieking sound.
Before anyone could respond, they heard the groaning noise from the former archers.
Archer 1: *Groaning and looks around* W-Where? W-What?
Then a pair of beady eyes are formed. And so did the other two.
Archer 1: I can see!
Archer 2: We're restored!
Archer 3: How is it possible.
They turned to Jack. This is the man that freed them.
Archer 3: You have broken our curse! *Bowed and so did the other two* We thank you.
"Oooookay..... are they even human.... or are they some kind of gingerbread men?" Weiss said in complete confusion at the ambiguous humanoid beings. They don't exactly look like gingerbread men but their body shapes beg to differ. Ruby was drooling at the thought of gingerbread cookies since her mother also used to bake them on holiday specials.
"I have no idea...." Blake answered who is just as confused.
"Well. We should get to the point now." Yang said with a big grin on her face. All the other three groaned from the pun.
Jack also bows in respect.
Jack: I have come to make a wish at this well.
Archer 3: The well is yours.
"Well that was easy." Yang added.
Jack approaches the well but the archers looked at each other for some reason. When Jack approached the well... it spoke.... In a deep pitch as it sounds like it's speaking underwater.
Well of King Ozerick: Proclaim your wish, great warrior and it will be fulfilled your wildest dream.
Jack: My quest has finally come to an end.
RWBY cringed at hearing that... as they heard that before.
Jack: Oh mystic well, I humbly wish-
Archer 1: Wait!
Jack stops and looks back at the archers. RWBY can already tell something is going to happen.
Archer 1: We must warn you. Any wish granted comes with a price.
RWBY wasn't too surprised but continued to listen.
Archer 1: It was forever long ago, we fought long and hard to reach this well. When we arrived, we stood before the well and made our wish: To be the greatest of warriors.
"That's a wish most would want." Blake said.
Archer 1: But in so doing, robbed us of our sight and our minds. Enslaving us as its personal guard.
RWBY were shocked at hearing that.
Archer 1: We have lived cursed lives until now.
Jack was staring at the well.... and clenched his teeth and scrunching his eyes in complete anger.
RWBY doesn't blame him. They feel just as angry at this well also doing what the archers never intended for their wish and became it's slaves. It instantly made RWBY not want to use this well to grant their wish, no matter how much they want their wish to come true.
Jack was so much full of rage that he draws his sword.
Jack: Evil spirit of the well! You will not claim another innocent!
He hold the sword over the well.
Jack: I wish thee... DESTROYED!
He stabs the well... which causes a massive bright light and the liquid flies into the sky... and dissipates into nothing.
He destroyed the well... to never make another wish.
RWBY and the archers stared in shock and awe at what Jack just did. RWBY felt sad he had to destroy another chance at going home. But smiled he sacrificed that for the sake of others.
Archer 1: The greatest of warriors....
Archer 2: A noble spirit.....
Archer 3: Such sacrifice....
Jack walks back into the forest and treads on.
~Watch out!

(Jack, Jack, Jack)
Watch Out!~
RWBY loved that episode. But they felt sad again that Jack missed another chance going home.
"That was awesome." Ruby said. "The robot army! The arrows! The awesome actions! I can't take it all!" She shouted.
"Agreed." Weiss said. "I loved the snow and how Jack learned to hear better." She added.
"I loved how he adapted to hear more acute." Blake said. "And the selfless sacrifice for the greater good of destroying the well."
"I loved everything that had action such.... especially him standing there almost naked~" Yang said as she purred.
RWB blushed but Weiss groaned from Yang being like that.
"Now we must see the next episode." Blake said.
Ruby puts in the next episode and hits play.
