I'm reading Sirius (the star) wikipedia page and I just found out that the star name in sanskrit "Mrgavyadha" translate to "deer hunter" and I can't stop laughing.

(also in other cultures and languages: "Wolf Star", "Moon Dog", " Flower of the Heaven", "Loki's Torch", "Celestial Wolf" and most importantly "Queen of Heaven" ;) Sirius was also believed to "star-struck" people: weakening men and arousing women.....the more you know...)
