Characters of different cultures:

Okay, no, I don't have a problem with them! Of course not! I have problems with them being extremely stereotypes. And I know, I'm gonna have comments like "I have a story and I have people of different cultures that aren't stereotyped!"

Great! Good for you! I'm talking to the people who do have stereotyped characters.

Just to clear things up:

-Not all Indians/ Pakistanis/ South East Asians are doctors. PLEASE DELETE THAT STEREOTYOE BECAUSE MY PARENTS ARE GONNA FORCE ME TO BE A DOCTOR AND I DON'T WANT TO BE A DOCTOR. Unless it's a job as a companion for the Doctor.

-Not all Asians from countries like China, Japan, Thailand, and Korea, and of that heritage [sorry, if this is offending, I don't know the terminology for it, (North Asians?)] have the last name Lee or Lin, or Ming, or Ping. There are other last names!

-Not all African-American characters have to be sassy, and very gangster-y.

-AND NOT ALL ASIANS ARE SMART OKAY. That stereotype actually ruins kids. I see a lot of Asian parents deny their children's ADHD, Deslexiya, and other illnesses and call it 'laziness' because of this stereotype. There's actually a very good hindi movie about it, (yes, I do watch Hindi movies. Don't judge me) It's called Tare Zameen Par (Stars on the Ground) *I think that,s the translation*

Okay next rant:

Lavender Brown, Fleur Daclure, Ginny Weasley, and Cho Chang:

Okay, why are these characters getting so much hate? Let's take each. character and let me tell you why they shouldn't get that much hate and why they do:

Lavender Brown:
Okay people hate her for dating Ron???? But she didn't know ️Hermione liked him so it's technically not her fault???? And felt really bad because J.K Rowling didn't do her any justice. At the end of Deathly Hallows, she just killed her off.

Fleur Dacleur:
Okay, she gets hate because....? Wait, why does she even get hate?? She is so powerful, and is so accepting! She doesn't care that Bill was bitten by a werewolf. She can be arrogant sometimes, but don't we all have flaws?

Ginny Weasley:
I've already done a rant on this on my other book, but again I have to defend my favorite character. So people say she's a marry-sue and then say that she gets too angry?!?!?!!????

What?! Wait, a marry-sue is a character that has no flaws. And then you say that she gets too angry too easily, which is a bad habit of hers, and then continue to hate her?!?????¿??? You just threw out your whole argument out of the window! And then yes, she can be mean, (phlegm) and yeah, she gets really angry easily but who doesn't get angry?! She was friends with and defended Luna Lovegood, and Neville Longbottom. (I personally think that she shipped them as much as every Nuna shipper) She helped Harry realize that he was being a prat being angsty and all.

I can go on about why Ginny is a BAMF, but Cho Chang needs defending.

Cho Chang:
Okay, so people hate her for crying over Cedric? Or is it because she dated Harry and then dumped him? What?! HER BOYFRIEND JUST DIED AND YOU'RE HATING ON HER FOR BEING SAD?! What the heck is wrong with you haters! As ️Hermione explained:

""Well, obviously, she's feeling very sad, because of Cedric dying. Then i expect she's feeling confused because she liked Cedric and now she likes Harry, and she can't work out who she likes best. Then she'll be feeling guilty, thinking it's an insult to Cedric's memory to be kissing Harry at all, and she'll be worrying about what everyone else might say about her if she starts going out with Harry . Okay next Rant (?). Actually, an opinionated question.

I want your thoughts:

What do you think defines bravery? Physically and emotionally.

I think that bravery isn't defined by how much someone's been through, but how they dealt with what they were facing. For example, Hermione went through so much, but Annabeth dealt with so much more. Does that make Annabeth better, or braver than ️Hermione? In my opinion, it doesn't but to each their own. I'm just using these to as an example, I love all my characters equally.

Another rant that plays into the one above:

Rude, defensive people in the comments section of youtube and sometimes on wattpad. Not directed to anyone, and not to offend anyone.

That last sentence. ^^. I've written that in mostly all of my rants. (I may have forgotten to mention this at some but the major ones, I'm pretty sure I wrote that). But a lot of people seem to have ignored that sentence (and in some cases in bolder paragraphs I've written this) and just proceeded t calling me "offensive." Then again, DAN already has made a video of this. So that's up there.

Like seriously though, I was going back on my first rants, which I did when I was twelve by the way, and the comments were just a shitstorm. Like some of them were just like "OMG" or "YASSS" and other like

"Oh my god. Okay look, not all Directioners are 10 year olds okay. Most of the fandom is filled with amazing people of age, and you shouldn't go and start stereotyping us. This is so offensive."

No, that's not a direct quote, but most of the comments are like that on that one chapter where I mentioned 1D. And when I was reading the comments all that went through my head was "ummm...did you guys read the part where I mentioned I wasn't trying to be offensive and was just stating my opinion?"

It's like

Person: *states opinion and says that it's not meant to offend anyone*

Other person: OMG YOU ARE HORRIBLE FOR HAVING A DIFFERENT OPINION THAN ME SO FUK U I'LL POO ON YOUR MUM

Person: But I said I wasn't-

Other Person: *continues to ignore and gives a whole goddamn list of reasons why that opinions is wrong*

Person: I still believe what I said before and-

Other Person: UGHHH sorry not to be rude, but that was rude. I just gave you a list and I'm so offended that you don't like WHAT I LIKE SO EREFORE YOU ARE WRONG.

Person: ...why do I even try?

Random Phangirl: DON'T TRY!
