1 | FOREVER WITH YOU
MARGO DONOVAN LOVES HER LIFE. While it wasn't always the easiest one, she had Matt by her side an that was enough. She was content to spend the rest of her life in Mystic Falls and never leave. To grow old here and one day die.
Then Damon and Stefan Salvatore came into town and everything changed. Her sister died, she found out about vampires, had to keep it a secret from Matt so he could be safe, she had to remember to throw some vervain in her coffee every morning so that Damon couldn't compel her to give him drinks for free and she had to work and balance school on top of all that.
Klaus Mikaelson came to town next. And everything took a turn for the absolute worst. Everyone was in a frenzy, wanting to know how to kill him and hell, for a second there, Bonnie did die. When Klaus came back into town and turned Tyler into a hybrid, Margo did a stupid, stupid thing. She went to ask the hybrid to release her life long friend. He refused, but offered her dinner and the two became the best of friends - much to the displeasure of the Save Elena Squad.
Yeah, Margo Donovan's life wasn't the easiest one, but she loved it. She always knew that she would grow old and one day die. And that was okay because it's the way life works.
But now she's a vampire.
I'm a vampire. She almost snorted as she thought that sentence. Sitting on the couch in her house, Margo was conflicted. Yes, she wanted to be with Kol forever. But how is she supposed to say goodbye to Matt one day? No matter what he's done, he'll always be her brother, her twin. For the last eighteen years, that's all they ever really had : each other.
Come what may, Margo was going to have to figure it out. She already drank a bag of blood, completing the transition. She may wanted a little more time as a human with her brother, but she'll take 50 years over the nothing that she would have gotten had she died. Besides, she was going to turn eventually and her name isn't Elena Gilbert, thank you very much.
There was also be matter of Klaus. Her Hybrid best friend that is dead. Killed by the person she saw as a father figure, but it wasn't really Alaric and she didn't blame him. She didn't even blame him for killing her, because it wasn't his fault, it wasn't him. Margo was just hurting because she lost two important people in her life. It sucks - no pun intended.
Kol was in the kitchen, making her some hot chocolate - he told her that he can figure it out and if all else fails, he could read the instructions. But, he didn't want her to get up. Margo got the feeling that he was feeling guilty over her coming back as a vampire, she heard the whole story, and would have a talk with him about that later.
"One hot chocolate for the lady in my life is served." Kol's accented voice rang out, coming from the direction of the kitchen and startling Margo out of her thoughts. A bright smile lit up her face when she heard his voice and when walked into the room, she held her hands out eagerly for the cup. She sniffed at the cup and then frowned thoughtfully.
"Did you spike my hot chocolate with blood?" She asked her soulmate before taking a sip and closing her eyes in delight. "Cause if so, you're a genius." It was a little strange how much she wanted blood now, but couldn't stand it before. Then again, she was a human before and now she's a vampire. Margo giggled as Kol took a seat next to her, slinging an arm around her shoulders. He dropped a kiss to the side of her head.
"How are you feeling, love?" The Mikaelson asked softly, watching as his mate drank the hot chocolate with a content smile on her lips.
"Right now? I'm in heaven." The blonde answered with a grin, turning her head to him, making their faces inches apart. It vanished and she moved back so that she could think and looked at him seriously. "Honesty game: I'm kind of terrified. But not for the reason you think." She assured him when panic flashed in his eyes. "I love you and I want nothing more than to spend forever with you. But knowing that I will one day loose my brother, is really scary, because let's not kid ourselves here, there is zero chance of my brother ever wanting this life. Before you, I never wanted to be a vampire either. I stayed out of the supernatural as much as I possibly could." She took a deep breath and let it out slowly, looking at the Original. He wasn't looking at her, but inside at the coffee table.
"You know, I thought about not bringing you back. I thought that maybe this was the one time I had to be selfless and let you go." Kol eventually spoke, his voice soft and vulnerable. "Then I looked at your lifeless body and I imagined the rest of eternity without seeing you again, without seeing your smile or hearing your laugh or looking into that big, innocent blue eyes of yours and I just...I couldn't. I couldn't let you go, I didn't want to. I didn't want to face the rest of my immortality without you. And I'm sorry if that seems selfish, but I love you and I need you."
Kol finally looked at his girl and saw silent tears running down her cheeks, but love and affection shined brightly in her eyes. She wiped the tears of her cheeks and took a couple of deep breaths. "I'm really glad that you brought me back."
"Me too, Margo, me too." Kol's lips finally quirked up in to a smile and Margo leaned forward to kiss him. And he kissed her back. She pulled him closer, wanting more. Always wanting more. And now, they had forever. Losing Matt would be heartbreaking price to pay, but having forever with Kol? Priceless.

THE SOULMATES WAS WALKING UP TO ELENA'S HOUSE. Damon had given them a call and told them that he and Rebekah was attacked and that the blonde Original was kidnapped by the counsel, because apparently evil-Alaric outed every supernatural being and someone who had something to do with them. Would they come after her and Kol next? Or would they go after Matt? Do they know that she's a vampire? She shook her head and listened for trouble, but her ears found something else.
"In what world are you the one that gets to live?!" Damon snarled and Margo could hear her brother's heart beat and his struggle for air. She growled, her eyes darkening as veins popped out from beneath her eyes and she shot forward, leaving Kol outside. She grabbed Damon by the neck and sped him against the wall.
"Hello Damon." The blonde smirked, he pulled at her arms but she only tightened her grip. "Not so nice when you're on the receiving end, is it?" Margo let him go, enjoying the way he was gasping for breath. Concentrating, she willed her veins to go away. Margo turned around when they were gone and saw Kol watching her with pride, Matt looking grareful and Meredith and Sheriff Forbes watched her warily.
A hand slipped into hers and she felt herself calm down even more. Then she turned to her twin. "You okay?" He nodded, giving her a small grin. She smiled back and turned to Meredith and the Sheriff.
"Um, what's he doing here?" Doctor Fell asked, pointing to Kol, the distaste in her eyes clear. Margo's eyes narrowed and she felt the need to protect her mate rise in her chest.
"He's with me." Margo told her simply, her voice getting colder as her protective hackles rose.
"He's a Mikaelson."
"You use vampire blood on your patients." The Donovan girl deadpanned. "And no one judges you, so stop judging him."
"I haven't killed anyone." Meredith snapped back.
"Neither has he." Margo retorted, then tilted her head before shrugging. "At least not in Mystic Falls."
"I did come close to kill Damon, more than once." Kol quipped with a smirk in said Salvatore's direction. He got a glare for his words.
Matt snorted. "You're not the only one."
"Okay!" Liz snapped loudly, stopping the conversation. "This is getting us no where. We need to figure out where the counsel took them all. With your vervain and Alaric's weapons; they could be anywhere." She told the three vampires and two humans, Margo tilted her head as her mind went a mile a minute.
"Come on, guys, think. It takes a lot to hold a vampire. Reinforced steel, iron doors." Damon told them, clearly frustrated. Margo didn't blame him for being impatient, Elena still hasn't transitioned into a vampire and if she didn't change soon, they wouldn't have to worry about Pastor Young killing her.
"The Pastor has a cattle ranch." They all look at Matt when he spoke. "Those pens could easily be modified."
"It's remote, it's secluded." Meredith agreed.
"We can use my car, it's outside." Kol offered, worried about his sister and knowing that his mate was going for Caroline.
Damon turns to Matt. "Well, guess what? Looks like you get a chance to prove how sorry you really are. Let's go." Damon and Matt leave the house, Kol and Margo following closely.
"Damon, if something happens to my brother..." Margo warned, her tone threatening as she and Kol walked after the duo. It was strange to hear that voice on her, being a vampire really changed her.
"I'll see it as a bonus." The Salvatore said with a smirk. Margo hit him on the back of his head, hard. "I liked you better as a human. You weren't so strong and a lot more nicer." He complained in a grumble as they got into Kol's car.
"Oh, I'm still nice, just not when my twin's life is being put in danger." The newly turned vampire retorted easily as she got into the passenger seat. Kol chucked as he got into the driver's seat. Damon rolled his eyes and Matt smirked.
Arriving at the pastor's ranch, Damon leans in between the seats of the two soulmates. "Okay, so here's the plan: you two wait in the car and when when the pastor releases everyone, you come and help." Without waiting for an agreement or objection, Damon exits the car and Matt follows. Margo is about the get out as well, when a hand on her arm stops her. She raised an eyebrow.
"Let's try it his way." Kol suggested and she watched him for a few seconds, before nodding with a sigh.
The new vampire settles back in her seat and watches as Damon and Matt walk towards the house. Margo was still watching them - Kol watched for any threats around them - when Damon suddenly rushes towards Matt and bites his neck. Matt falls to the ground, groaning in pain.
Margo squeakes. "I'm going to kill Damon." She snarled, using her vampire hearing to listen in, she should have done that from the beginning.
"Yoo-hoo! Anybody home? Big, bad vampire out here." Damon yelled and the urge to facepalm was so real, it wasn't even funny. Pastor Young opens the front door and sees Matt on the ground, bleeding.
"Let him go. The boy's innocent." The man tried to order Damon. Margo snorted, yeah, that isn't going to work.
"Well, that's the point. Give me Stefan, Elena and Rebekah, he's all yours." Damon grabs Matt by the scruff of his shirt and picks him up. "Come on, Pastor. You know I'll kill him. I want to kill him." Margo clenched her fists as the blue eyed vampire taunted the pastor. He isn't really going to kill you twin, he isn't really going to kill you twin, the blonde vampire repeated in her head in order to not jump out of the car and go help Matt.
"Go away! You are not invited in and I'm not coming out!" The pastor yelled and Damon is suddenly shot in the chest and falls to the ground.
"I think his plan is going rather successful, don't you?" Kol quipped sarcastically, looking at his mate. The two vampires watched as officers come around the corner with their guns out. They approach Damon's body and one of the officers gently nudges Damon with his foot. Suddenly, Damon gets up and grabs the guns out of the officers hands. He kills both of them by snapping the neck of one of them and stabbing the other one with his own gun.
"Come on, lets go." Margo said, getting out of the car and when she rounded the car, the girl saw Damon walking over to Matt, who is slowly crawling and coughing, and kicks him hard. Margo's eyes darkened and she started walking over to the duo.
"Go ahead and kill me. You can't possibly hate me more than I hate myself." Matt said and sympathy bloomed on Margo's chest for her twin brother. It wasn't his fault.
"Oh, yes I can." Damon places his foot on Matt's throat and begins to push down. "It should have been you."
"Damon!" Margo yells darkly, vamped out as she speeds forward and she knocks Damon off her brother. She kicks him in the chest as he gets up. When the Salvatore gets up again, she punches him in the nose.
"If you ever hurt my twin again, I swear to you Damon Salvatore, I will kill you." Margo snarled at him, hand wrapped tightly around his throat. She lets go and turns around, Kol standing behind her in a protective stance, her blue eyes flickering to where her brother was, but he's gone.
"Where is he?" The blonde asked, panicked. Kol point to the barn. She walked there, with Kol following behind her. Arriving at the band, she hears her brother speak.
"Elena's a vampire...because of me. I have to live with that every day for the rest of my life." The devestation in her brother's tone, is heart breaking.
"No, no, no, you don't have to live with that; you get to live with that. Because Elena put your life before her own. So every morning you get out of bed, you sure as hell better earn it." Stefan told him, and Margo's eyes narrowed.
"My brother doesn't have to earn anything." She spoke, alerting the two men of her presence. "Yeah, you might have saved him, but it wasn't Matt's fault. It was Rebekah's. She stood on that bridge and made him lose control." Kol winced slightly as his mate spoke, but every word was true. "Oh, and Stefan, I'm a vampire now. Be careful what you say to my brother, you never know when I might go crazy and kill you."
"Is that a threat?" Stefan asked, gobsmacked by the way Margo was talking to him.
"No, just a fair warning."

I'M BACK! WHOSE EXCITED FOR PART TWO?
As you can see, being a vampire changed our dearest Mango. Don't worry, she'll still be kind and good, but her violent and protective sides will be enhanced. ((Is it wrong that I'm excited?))
And the Scooby Gang can't do anything, because Kol and Klaus will kill them. Hehehe, I'm enjoying this so much. Maybe too much. *shrugs* Eh, they deserve it. I never liked how Matt was blame for the whole thing, when Rebekah stood in the road and caused the accident.
But that's just me.
Hope you enjoyed!
