The first round has arrived! Are you ready to begin your journey towards glory and legend? Excellent!

Here's how the Battle works:

You will each have five posts in which to show your enemy who is boss. After that, it will go to the readers who are NOT competing for voting. They will then have 24hrs to cast their votes for who they think won. They may only vote once per pair (i.e. they could not vote for Aragorn and Turin at the same time) but can vote for multiple people. Does this make sense? 

After that 24hrs, I will post the results and announce those who are moving on and who was eliminated.

Now to the battles!

I will tag each person and the person they will be facing off against in the comment threads; each pair will have their own, so please do not comment on other peoples threads. Conversation can happen in the Match-Ups page. This is to make it easier on the people reading and myself.

One last note: Please do not post anything until you have been tagged. The person listed first (i.e. Aragorn vs Turin) will go first once the thread has been created. This will be happening shortly after this is posting, so be on the look out for it. It will be done in turns, so Aragorn would go first, then Turin, then Aragorn etc.
