Chapter 5.
All of the sudden, the planchette caught fire, Chiranjeev, Jamuna, Sakharam and Sushma pulled out their figures, and the Ouija Board caught fire too. We had the water bottles handy, and we poured water at that dismal board, and the fire was doused. I guess, we were trapped. Adi uttered, "Guys, we gonna get out of this place right now." I replied, "Yes Bro." We run towards the main door, but the door refused to open, we ran here and there, banging on other exit doors, but they all were rigid, staring blankly at us. Our mobile phones were out of network, as we decided to call the cops, also our laptops were not working. We decided to break to doors and windows, but to our surprise, there were not even a scratch on the doors or the windows. We used the tables, chairs, and even we hurled cricket bats at the window glasses, but they seem to be impervious. There was total chaos and confusion, and even the doors leading to terrace were not opening. Jagjivan said, "Now, we have to try in other way, let's keep this cricket bats with us, in case if some force attacks, we can retaliate. We agreed with him, and we decided to plan out. We decided to split in posse, the first group will be Jamuna, Chiranjeev, Amresh, Radhika, Vinayak, and Reshma, it will be led by Jamuna and Chiranjeev. Meanwhile, the other team would be of Jagjivan, Sumitra, Yogesh, Adi, Sakharam, Sushma, Naresh, Devika and I, it will be led by Jagjivan and Sumitra. We had torches which threw enough lights everywhere.
We split in groups, the team led by Jamuna and Chiranjeev were at the top, while Jagjivan and Sumitra were leading at the hallways. We were tried to open doors and windows; it was left unturned. All of the sudden, there were loud banging's on the door and windows, the sound crammed the house. I exclaimed, "Alas! These pathetic souls have arrived." Jagjivan answers, "There was wrong then, and now too. We gonna buckle up." The tables, chairs, sofas, began to slide on the floor, which made creaking sound. I could see the chairs sliding under the light of the torch. At the corner of the room, there was a chair, I could see a dark figure plopped on the chair. I turned my torch there, but there no one. I squinted my eyes, perhaps, this was the fragment of my imagination. I turned away, as my friends trying to get this done. I could hear faint whispering, and I looked over my shoulder. Again, on that chair, I could see something. I turned my torch, and what I saw, it shuddered me.
