"Are you fine now?", Aaron asked as he walked into the room. I had asked him to leave me alone for sometime to ponder over my nightmare. I still couldn't understand about how I could get an image of my mother whom I have never seen or even if I have seen I was way too young to remember her. I let the thought slide as Aaron seated himself at the end of my bed. "You know we can go around the city if you want, it'll help you take your mind off things", he said with a soft smile."Yes sure...", I replied returning the smile.

 I wore a simple white top over my regular jeans and headed downstairs when I heard voices. I quickly headed down and found that Theo had come back from his "work" and was talking to Aaron about something. When they noticed me they immediately stopped talking. As I walked to the kitchen to get myself water I asked them," Why did you both stop talking? you can very well continue I won't interrupt". I turned to face them when I heard no answer and found them staring hard at each other. It seemed as though they were having a conversation with their eyes. Then Theo looked at me and said," Don't worry we were not talking about anything important".
Hmm...there is something going on here and I am going to find it out.

"So I heard that you were going out?", Theo said. "Yes I am", I replied.

"There's a slight change of plans...", Aaron said. I turned my gaze to him and asked," What?".

"Aaron has some work to do so instead of him I'll be accompanying you-", Theo was saying but I cut him off and said," That's no problem as long as I am going out".

Theo and Aaron, both let out a sigh of relief. What the hell is going on with these two?
I quietly took the car keys from the hanger and went to the garage. After seating myself in the driver's seat and starting the car  I felt the familiar vibrate of my phone. I looked at the caller ID and it said "Bro-ke". If you're guessing why I named him like that then let me tell you that Theo had been living off the money assigned by my parents to me for a whole year and he did not even pay me the rent of the mansion. hehe. 

"Where are you Trace I have been looking for you all over the house", Theo spoke over the phone.

"I am outside in plain sight you'll easily find me", I replied with a smirk on my face which he obviously couldn't see.

I saw Theo come out of the house and look around untill his eyes caught me sitting in the driver's seat of the car. His expression changed from a worried look to absolute annoyance. He sat in the car and glared at me and said," You know that I love to drive but still you have to tease me, don't you?"

"Yup thats my job", I replied still teasing him. 

"So where are we going?", Theo asked after we were half an hour into the drive. "First we are getting a car for me, as the mansion is located awfully far from the main city and then we will go to my favorite place to eat and then head back home", I replied with my eyes still on the road.

Having gotten my new car which would be delivered to our mansion and having eaten our food we finally reached home after the long drive. I parked the car in the garage after Theo had already gotten off and headed towards the house with the excuse that he was really tired even though he literally did nothing except walk, sit and eat.

I parked successfully and headed into the house. I was surprised to find no one there. I shrugged it off and headed to my room. Having gotten into comfortable clothes I laid on the soft bed and was almost immediately pulled into sleep.

I woke up to some voices whispering outside my room. I looked at the time and the clock read 2:10am. I got up from my bed and went to my door. I stepped out of my room and quietly closed the door. I followed the sound of the whispering voices down the hall in which my room was located. The door at the end of the hallway which had always been locked since my arrival was slightly ajar. I looked inside through the slit and saw two silhouettes against the bright light of a monitor behind them. The words I next heard made me freeze in my place...
