That wine was still in my bloodstream cause I was seeing and hearing things that didn't even exist.

Zak apologising for one... And I could have sworn he kissed me on the cheek. So that's two.

I felt okay but if that was happening.. Then it means I'm still drunk right? I rolled off the bed and made my way down the RV slowly to get a bottle of water, I hoped Aaron got me one. He usually did.

I jumped when Zak coughed, he was painfully curled up on the couch trying to go to sleep. I shook my head and went past him to Aaron.

"Hey."

"Good afternoon!" He cheered making me groan.

"How's the head?" Bacon asked.

"It hasn't decided yet. Did you p-" I paused as Aaron held me up a bottle of water.

"You're the best, thank you." I answered taking it from him.

"You're welcome."

I opened it and slowly made my way back up the RV. I stopped by Zak, I could take the couch.. I'm smaller than he is.

I went over to nudge him but Bacon swerved something and instead of a gentle nudge I fell into him. I heard him moan but I was worried about my water....

This was good water.

"Owh." He spoke lifting his hand to show my knee was actually jammed into his ribs.

"I- you- bed is free." I blurted and moved away. He grunted a response that I didn't hear as I sat myself behind the table and used some else's hoody as pillow.

"You're still tired."Zak spoke making me look at him.

"I am... But you're a lot bigger than me and I can fit in the couch."

I watch him walk away and sit back down on the couch. Dude? Go use the bed!

Still as stubborn as ever. I put my head back down on my arms and closed my eyes. Guess I'll sleep here...

The next time I opened my eyes I was laying on the bed, I threw myself over to get comfortable when I hit a wall.. A pillow wall to be exact.

"What the-"

"It's to make you more comfortable.. Shh." Zak hushed. I followed the voice to find Zak trying to sleep beside me with a territory line of pillows.

And we're suppose to be adults here?

I ignored him and the Great Wall of pillows. China would be impressed with his work.

I thought it was stupid, and stole two so I could sleep on them.

"Took ages to build that." I heard Zak mumble.

"Shh. I'm asleep." I replied.

I woke probably 2 hours  later to find Zak had taken nearly all the bed and I was left with a small section... No bigger than what Gracie or even a cat would take up.

"Dude." I spoke looking at him but he was dead to the world...

He was breathing... Wasn't he?

With that idea I stuck my finger under his nose and felt his exhale. Relief washed over me, not for him, but for me. I wasn't sharing a bed with a dead man.

I decided to take the idea that I had in my dream and apologise to Zak whilst he was asleep, at least then I know I've apologised..

As I went to open my mouth the RV stopped.

"Yo! Kids! We're here!" Aaron called.

I threw myself up off the bed and pulled my hair up walking down the RV to see our new home for the next few days.

Gracie was hot on my heels desperate to get out and investigate. I opened the door to what I would call heaven. Gracie was first down the steps and out the door sniffing as I just stood there taking in the surroundings.

I slowly got off and looked around.

It was so.. So green and so quiet!

"Welcome on Red Oaks Rivers." Aaron grinned.

I looked around to find us totally secluded in a forest. The lodge itself was breathtakingly beautiful. It was a coach style lodge made from wood as well as stone.  Small solar lights were dotted along the path up to it and there was a swinging seat by the front door.

That made me smile alone, I always had the idea that I'd sit on one, one day with a husband and we would watch our children play in the garden.

Just a silly little dream but I found it insanely cute.

"We her- wow." Zak spoke as he stepped off the RV.

"Did I do good or what?" Aaron asked laughing.

"Bro this is amazing."

"We've even got a boat for fishing, there's a lake out the back." He grinned.

"T-there's a lake?" I asked as Aaron nodded confirming my question instantly.

"Holy shit man this must have cost a fortune!" I heard Zak call from behind the RV.

"We're totally alone." He answered.

"Yep. So don't wander off alone." Aaron spoke looking directly at me.

"What?"

"No midnight walks." He warned making me salute him.

Hearing music I looked over my shoulder to see Billy and his wife Diana along with Jay and Ash driving behind.

"Great, everyone is here." Aaron smiled.

I watched him go greet the others, he was excited and I vowed to do my very best this weekend not to ruin it in any way, shape or form.

I was in complete awe at this place, I couldn't wait to see what inside was like.

We unloaded everything from the RV and went in behind Aaron who couldn't stop the grin on his face. Probably because we all did synchronised gasps. Just from the front door this whole place looked open planned.

"Go find rooms and chill out!" Aaron smiled taking his bag upstairs, we all went behind him to get our rooms sorted. I reached the top of the stairs and forgot what I originally planned to do as I stood looking out the large window onto the lake.

"Here.. It opens." Zak spoke pulling a handle and letting the outside in.

What I thought was a window was actually a large glass door.

I stepped out onto the balcony speechless. There was a dock, a large veranda over patio area which held rattan furniture with white cushions, there was a large BBQ on as well as a hot tub and fire pit. All that with a view to die for.

"He'll be happy. He can cook steaks." I spoke to myself.

I pulled out my phone and took a picture of the view, I smiled slipping my phone away and went back to admiring the view.

"Hey Ri? You gonna put your stuff away?" Aaron asked behind me.

I turned to him and gave him a hug "okay.. What's up?"

"This.. Is amazing." I answered.

"Glad you like it. I remembered you said about wanting to stay in a lodge. I always wanted to as well so two birds and one stone. I think I nailed it."

"Definitely."

"Now go get a room so we can go and have a wander." He smiled.

I picked up my bag and gave a little sigh at having to leave the view. I pulled my bag around the lodge until I found an empty room, it was light, airy and had a balcony..

I'm sold!

Throwing my bag on the bed I face planted the bed.

A few seconds later I heard little patters of nails and the bed move. "Hey Gray, like my room?" I asked lifting my head up to look at her. She gave me a lick on the forehead and carefully sniffed at my cheek.

"You noticed as well huh? Yeah I think everyone does. It was an accident though." I explained to her, not that she understood a word of it.

I turned my head to look out the doors when I felt her head in my back. I smiled and stayed still.

Logan used to do that, just to make sure I was breathing at night. I held my breath and waited, Gracie moved and climbed over me pushing her face into mine making me giggle.

She was checking to make sure I was okay.

"I'm good Gray. I'm good."

She curled up at my side as I petted her and soon fell asleep.

"Gra- oh she's here, sorr-." Zak spoke looking at us.

"She's fine. I like the company anyway." I answered looking at her.

A collie mix but she was gorgeous, even her little black eye patch.

"She's a gorgeous dog.. You've done well with her." I answered getting off the bed and unzipping my case.

"I wouldn't be without her.."

I pushed back the top and could have laughed or cried.

The reason why my case was so heavy?

Was because I had filled it with food and clothes.

"What the-" I picked out a tin of baked beans.

"Came prepared." Zak replied amused.

"Don't. Don't even laugh. God I must have been so drunk last night.." I sighed emptying the food out of my case.

I'd came prepared alright, with baked beans, some fruit, sweets that my mum had sent me and tomato ketchup.

"At least the some of the food groups are present." He laughed.

"Don't make me throw a banana at you." I warned.

"Ri have yo- what the hell have you packed?" Aaron laughed instantly.

"Appears I was going to miss some food. So I packed it... Drunkenly packed it."

"You got clothes right?" Aaron asked making me nod.

I went through my bag and picked up my phone.

I rang Tilly instantly.

'Hey!'

'Where are my pjs?' I asked making her giggle.

'I took them out. You're gonna have to sleep in the nude. Hey are you sharing with Zak?'

I looked up to see Aaron and Zak looking at me.

"No. I'm not. And you're so not funny."

"Have fun. Oh I also packed you something else.. Besides the food."

"You put the food in my case?" I asked.

"Uh huh. You kept saying you wanted beans. So I packed you some.. I only remembered when Zak took your case." She giggled.

"And you didn't think to tell him? Or even tell me?"

"No. Now check under your towels."

"Why what's under them?" I asked taking them out.

I picked up a magazine by the first cover and held it up. I soon realised what it was when I had a naked man in front of me. Play girl magazine.

"What the f- jeeze is that even real?" I asked tilting my head at one man's ahem.

She screamed with laughter on the phone.

"Why do I want a porn magazine Tilly?" I asked.

"Well you clearly aren't getting any and if Zak's unavailable.... There's numbers on the back page. Bye!" She laughed hanging up.

I put the phone down and walked to the bin in my room dropping it inside. I looked at Aaron who was holding back a laugh. Even Zak was red faced from holding back. I pointed for both of them to clear off and they did.

I'm gonna kill her.
