The early August air was filled with excitement as Abir's family and Mishti's family gathered at their beloved countryside house, a tradition they held dear for years. The sprawling estate was nestled amidst rolling hills and lush meadows, a perfect sanctuary away from the bustling city. Every year, this time was reserved for bonding, laughter, and making cherished memories.

This year, however, was different. Abir had planned something extraordinary. He was going to propose to Mishti, and everyone in both families knew about it. The excitement was palpable as they busily prepared for the grand surprise.

The garden was transformed into an enchanting paradise. Fairy lights were strung across trees, casting a magical glow over the entire area. Lanterns lined the cobblestone path leading to a beautiful arch adorned with vibrant flowers. The scent of roses and jasmine filled the air, blending with the fresh countryside breeze. A gentle stream ran nearby, its soothing sound adding to the serene atmosphere.

Inside the house, the preparations were in full swing. Abir's mother, Neha, and Mishti's mother, Meera, were in the kitchen, preparing a sumptuous feast. The delicious aroma of spices and herbs wafted through the air, making everyone's mouths water. Abir's siblings - Kunal, Ahaan, and Kyra - along with their cousins, Kabir, Aavya, and Aisha, were busy setting up the projector for a slideshow of Abir and Mishti's journey together. Mishti's brother, Kartik, and his wife, Naira, were arranging a cozy seating area near the arch.Abir stood in the middle of the garden, taking a deep breath to calm his nerves. He was surrounded by his best friends, Advik and Diya, who were giving him last-minute pep talks.

"Just breathe, Abir. She's going to love this," Diya said, squeezing his shoulder.

" Yaar vo mna toh nahi krdegi Naa , mtlb we are not going too fast right"
Abir said while his eyes showing his restlessness.

" Tu thappad mt khalio , abir .
Comeon , mere yaar you've got this . Just remember she wants this as much as you want. " Advik grinned as he patted his best friend, abirs back.

As the clock ticked closer to 7 PM, the anticipation grew. Abir checked his watch for the hundredth time, feeling a mix of excitement and anxiety. He couldn't wait to see the look on Mishti's face.

Finally, the sound of a car pulling up the gravel driveway reached their ears. Abir's heart raced. He took his place under the flower-laden arch, the ring box hidden in his pocket. The families quickly took their positions, hiding in the shadows, ready to spring the surprise.

Darkness enveloped the house as Mishti stepped out of her car. The familiar countryside estate, usually bathed in the warm glow of lights, now seemed like an abyss of shadows. Her heart pounded in her chest, both from the excitement of reuniting with her loved ones and the eerie silence that greeted her.

"Abir?" she called out softly, her voice echoing in the quiet night.

She moved cautiously, her eyes darting around, searching for any sign of life. The path was barely visible, and she felt her way along the familiar route to the garden, her steps quickening as she went. The sound of her own footsteps was the only thing accompanying her in the pitch-black darkness.

"Abir, kaha ho sab , mumma papa ?" she called out again, a hint of anxiety creeping into her voice.

As she stepped into the garden, her eyes began to adjust to the darkness. She strained to see anything, any glimmer of light, any silhouette that would give away her friends or family. Just as her worry peaked, a sudden burst of light illuminated the garden.

Fairy lights draped across the trees twinkled to life, lanterns lit up one by one, casting a warm, golden glow over the entire area. The garden was transformed into an enchanting paradise, every flower and leaf bathed in a soft light that made them sparkle.

Mishti's breath caught in her throat as she took in the sight. Before she could fully absorb the beauty around her, she turned and saw Abir.

There he was, kneeling on one knee, a beautiful ring in his hand, his eyes locked onto hers.

"Abir," she whispered, her eyes wide with surprise and emotion.

Abir looked up at her, his face lit by the surrounding lights, a soft smile playing on his lips as he said -

Mai sham likhu
Tu raat keh dena,

Mai chaand likhu
Tu Poonam ki raat keh dena,

Mai khamoshi likhu
Tu muskura dena,

Mai jazbaat likhu
Tu mere bina bole har baat samajh lena,

Mai pyaar se dekhu,
Toh tu bas sharma dena aur keh dena, "I love you."

Tears formed in Abir's eyes as he recited these words, his voice filled with emotion. He looked at Mishti, and she could see the depth of his feelings mirrored in his gaze. Her own eyes brimmed with tears, touched by his heartfelt proposal.

She chuckled through her tears at the final line. "So cheesy, Mr. Rajvansh," she teased, her voice trembling with happiness.

Abir smiled, his eyes never leaving hers. "Will you, Ms. Maheshwari, aka my sweetheart, give me the honor of making beautiful babies with you and being called your husband?"

Mishti's heart fluttered at his words. She blushed, her cheeks turning a rosy pink as she looked at him with pure love. Without hesitation, she nodded, her voice barely whispering. "Yes, a 100 times yes Abir."

Abir stood up, pulling Mishti into a tight embrace. They held each other close, feeling the warmth of their love surrounding them. Their families and friends erupted into applause and cheers, celebrating the beautiful moment.

As they pulled back slightly, Abir cupped Mishti's face in his hands and looked into her eyes. "I promise to love you, cherish you, and stand by you through everything, Mishti. You are my world."

Mishti smiled, tears streaming down her face. "And I promise to love you, support you, and build a beautiful life with you, Abir."

It was a perfect start to their forever.

As soon as their lips met, sealing their promises, a chorus of cheers erupted around them. Mishti and Abir pulled back slightly, startled but elated, as their families emerged from their hiding places.

"Finally!" Ahaan shouted, his voice echoing with excitement. "Welcome to the family officially, bhabhi!"

Kyra, not one to be outdone, squealed, "We knew you would say yes!" She rushed forward, enveloping Mishti in a tight hug, followed by a warm embrace for Abir.

Advik stood a bit further back, arms crossed and a smirk on his face. "About time, Abir. I was starting to think you'd never pop the question."

Abir grinned at his friend. "I wanted it to be perfect. And it was," he said, looking lovingly at Mishti.

Abir's mother, Neha, approached with tears of joy in her "Mishti, you were already my daughter but welcome to the family officially," she said, pulling her into a gentle hug. Mishti's own parents followed, their faces beaming with happiness.

"Mishti, we're so happy for you," her mother said, her voice choked with emotion.

Mishti, feeling overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, looked around at the beaming faces.

She caught Advik's eye, who pretended to wipe a tear from his cheek dramatically. "Such a beautiful moment," he teased, earning a laugh from everyone.

"And here I thought you'd have a heart of stone," Mishti shot back playfully.

"Nope, just saving my emotions for special occasions like this," Advik said, winking.

Abir's father, Mr. Rajvansh, stepped forward, clapping Abir on the back.
" Congratulations beta "

Abir nodded, grateful for his family's support. "Thank you, papa"

The atmosphere was electric with joy and excitement. Mishti and Abir stood hand in hand, surrounded by their loved ones, feeling more connected than ever. It was a night to remember, the beginning of a beautiful journey together.

"Now, let's get this celebration started properly," Ahaan declared, pulling out a bottle of champagne.

As the cork popped and the champagne flowed, laughter and joy filled the air. Mishti looked up at Abir, her heart full. "I love you," she whispered.

"I love you too," Abir replied, leaning in for another kiss, this time surrounded by the people they loved most.

As elders moved to their rooms after the celebration , youngsters stood there sitting on the ground .

As the celebratory atmosphere buzzed with excitement, the group moved towards the beautifully decorated dining area. Abir and Mishti were still holding hands, basking in the love and joy around them.

Advik, always the one to lighten the mood, sidled up to Abir with a mischievous glint in his eye. "So, Abir," he began, loud enough for everyone to hear, "about that line you dropped about making beautiful babies..."

Abir's ears turned a faint shade of red as everyone turned to look at him, chuckling. Mishti couldn't help but giggle, squeezing Abir's hand.

"Yeah, Abir," Abhimaan joined in, his face full of mock seriousness. "Care to elaborate on your plans?"

Abir rubbed the back of his neck, trying to keep his cool. "Well, you know, it's all part of the package," he said, shooting a playful look at Mishti. "You get the ring, the proposal, and, well, eventually..."

"Oh, we get it," Tara interrupted with a laugh. "You're planning for a whole cricket team, aren't you?"

"More like a football team," Advik quipped, earning a roar of laughter from everyone.

Diya leaned in, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "Just make sure you leave some time for actual parenting, okay?"

Mishti, blushing and laughing at the same time, shook her head. "You guys are impossible."

"Hey, we're just looking out for you," Ahaan said, raising his glass. "To Mishti bhabhi and Abir bhai , and their future football team!"

As everyone raised their glasses, Abir took the teasing in stride, pulling Mishti closer. "Don't worry," he whispered in her ear. "We'll take it one step at a time."

Mishti looked up at him, her eyes shining with love. "I'm counting on it."

Advik, still not done with his teasing, added, "Just remember, Abir, if you need any advice on baby names or you know something something , you know where to find me."

Abir rolled his eyes good-naturedly. "Thanks, Advik. I'll keep that in mind."

The group continued to laugh and joke, the warmth and camaraderie filling the room. It was a perfect start to the new chapter in Mishti and Abir's life, surrounded by the people who loved them most.
