Happy reading 🦢

It's been two months since I was discharged from the hospital. My shoulder cast is off, and my leg has healed completely. The doctor finally gave me the green light to return to work, and now, I've settled back into my routine. Life feels almost normal again, though with Abir by my side, it's more vibrant and full of love.

This morning, I'm up early, making breakfast for Abir. The smell of sizzling butter and eggs fills the kitchen as I focus on flipping the omelet just right. The sunlight streams through the windows, casting a warm glow over everything. It's a perfect morning.

Suddenly, I feel strong arms wrap around my waist from behind. I smile, knowing exactly who it is. Before I can turn around, Abir shakes me gently, pulling me closer.

"Abir!" I say, feigning annoyance.

He responds by kissing my cheek softly, his stubble tickling my skin. "Good morning, sweetheart," he whispers, his voice full of warmth and love.

I can't help but smile. "Good morning, Abir. Now let me finish this or you'll end up with a burnt breakfast."

He chuckles and releases me, but not before giving me one more affectionate squeeze. "Okay, okay, I'll let you be, but I'm not going far."

I finish preparing the omelets and place them on plates, adding some toast and fresh fruit on the side. We sit down at the dining table, enjoying the morning together. Abir is wearing a black tux. He looks effortlessly handsome, as always.

Effortlessly hott !!!!

His outfit

As we eat, I find myself staring at him, appreciating every little detail. His eyes meet mine, and he smiles, a hint of curiosity in his gaze.

"What?" he asks, raising an eyebrow.

I grin mischievously. "Your outfit... Hmm , konsi saheli ko impress krne ja re ho ?"

He laughs, a bit of color rising to his cheeks. " Are m toh sirf aapko hi impress krna chata hun , vaise btao btao itna acha lag rha hoon kya?"

"Achaaaa toh aisa hai " I tease him further, enjoying the moment.

Abir's ears turn a slight shade of red, and he looks adorably shy.
I laughed, reaching across the table to squeeze his hand. "Well, Mr.Abir Rajvansh, Mai toh sirf aapse hi impress ho skti hun . You know sirf aap hi mere standards match kr skte ho ."

We continue our breakfast, chatting about our plans for the day and sharing little stories from work. Every now and then, our eyes meet, and I feel that familiar flutter in my chest. It's amazing how even the simplest moments with him feel special.

After breakfast, as we're cleaning up, I turn to Abir and say, "You know, I could get used to this. Waking up early, making breakfast together... it's like a dream."

He wraps an arm around my shoulders, pulling me close. "It's our dream, Mishti. And I'll do everything to keep it this perfect."

Resting my head against Abir's chest, I snuggle into him, feeling the warmth and comfort that only he can provide.

"Chalo, abhi office jaate hain. Late ho jayenge nahi toh," I murmur.

Abir hums in agreement but suddenly twirls me around, catching me by surprise. He steps back, his eyes sweeping over my formal lady tux. I feel bold, sexy, and confident in it.

Her outfit

"Wow, Mishti," he flirts, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Aaj toh tumhe dekh kar pura office ka sara staff distraction mein pad jayega." I laugh and slap his chest playfully.

"Kuch bhi, Abir!" He grins, clearly pleased with himself.

"I'm serious. You look amazing."

Blushing slightly, I shake my head and head towards the door.

"Come on, Mr. Charmer, let's get going."

We grab our bags and head to our car. Settling into the passenger seat, I watch as Abir starts the engine and he waits for me to drive the first. The morning sun casts a golden hue on everything, and I feel a sense of contentment. I couldn't help but feel excited going to the office.

Entering my floor , I feel a mix of excitement and nervousness. It's been a while since I've been here, and I'm eager to see how everything's been managed in my absence. As I step through the doors, I immediately spot Ahaan, Abir's younger brother, busily coordinating with Tia. They both look so focused and efficient. A sense of pride swells within me seeing how well they've handled everything.

"Ahaan!" I call out, my voice filled with affection.

He turns around, and upon seeing me, his face lights up with a huge smile. He rushes over, enveloping me in a tight hug. "Welcome back, Bhabhi!" he exclaims, his voice echoing through the office.

My eyes widen in surprise, and I glance around, noticing a few amused looks from our colleagues. I quickly pulled back from the hug, whispering, "Ahaan!"

Realizing his mistake, he chuckles nervously. "Oh, sorry, sorry! I mean, welcome back, Ma'am."

I laugh, shaking my head. "It's okay, Ahaan. But maybe let's stick with Ma'am for now."

He grins sheepishly, nodding. "Got it."

Tia comes over, a warm smile on her face. "It's so good to have you back, Ma'am. We've missed you."

I smile back at her, grateful for the warm welcome. "I've missed you all too. Thank you for holding down the fort while I was away."

Ahaan and Tia exchange a look of camaraderie. "We did our best, but things are always better with you around," Tia says sincerely.

I feel a wave of gratitude wash over me. "You both have done an amazing job. I'm so proud of you."

As we walk further into the office, I'm greeted by more familiar faces, each one welcoming me back with kind words and smiles. It's heartwarming to see the support and affection from everyone. And despite the initial embarrassment, being called "Bhabhi" by Ahaan makes me feel even more connected to this family and our team.

Finally settling into my office, I take a moment to appreciate the efforts of my colleagues. The flowers on my desk, the welcome back cards, and the overall positive energy in the air make me feel truly at home.

Ahaan and Tia hover near the doorway, their expressions eager. "So, what's on the agenda today, Ma'am?" Ahaan asks, a playful glint in his eye.

I smirk, shaking my head. "First, we need to review the pending projects and ensure we're on track with all our deadlines."

Tia nods enthusiastically. "We've prepared a detailed report for you. It's on your desk."

I glance at the neatly organized stack of papers, feeling a renewed sense of purpose. "Great. Let's get to work, then."

As I dive into the tasks at hand, I can't help but feel a sense of contentment. Being back in the office, surrounded by such a supportive and competent team, makes me realize just how much I've missed this. And knowing Abir is just a call away if I need him makes everything even better.

This journey of healing and returning to normalcy has been challenging, but moments like these remind me of the strength and love that surround me. And with that, I feel ready to take on whatever comes next.

As I go through every report, I can't help but smile. Everything is in perfect order. Ahaan has done an incredible job over the past two months. I remember how he would spend his days at the office, meticulously handling every task, and then by evening, he'd visit me at the hospital. He'd sit by my side, telling me everything that was happening at work, ensuring I didn't miss anything. His dedication is heartwarming.

Feeling proud and grateful, I decided to call him into my cabin. "Ahaan, can you come to my office for a moment?"

He steps in, looking a bit curious. "Yes, Ma'am?"

I smile warmly. "I just wanted to thank you, Ahaan. You've done an exceptional job keeping everything on track. I'm really impressed."

Ahaan blushes slightly, rubbing the back of his neck. "Thank you, Bhabhi-I mean, Ma'am. It was a team effort."

I nod, appreciating his humility. "Still, you've gone above and beyond. I wanted you to know that I've noticed and I'm very grateful."

He beams, his eyes reflecting his pride and happiness. "I'm just glad to have you back, Ma'am."

As Ahaan turns to leave, I call out, "Ahaan, wait."

He stops, looking back at me. "Yes bhabhi?"

I raise an eyebrow, a teasing smile playing on my lips. "How's Aakansha?"

Ahaan's face turns bright red. "Ms. Aakansha?"

"Hmm," I hum, giving him a knowing look.

He stammers, clearly flustered. "Uh, she-Thik hi hoyengi vo, I guess. Bhabhi, why would I know?"

I can't help but chuckle at his reaction. "Okay, okay," I say, still smiling teasingly. "Just curious."

Ahaan quickly exits the cabin, still blushing furiously.

Laughing at Ahaan's flustered reaction, I feel a lightness in my heart. It's good to be back and surrounded by people I care about. Just as I'm savoring the moment, my phone pings with a text from Abir.

Abir: Wanna go out to eat something, bub? Advik, Diya, and I are going.

A mischievous idea pops into my head, and I can't help but smile. I decided to surprise them. Quickly, I type a reply:

Me: Bir, I'm busy now, possible nahi ho payega.

Grinning at my own cleverness, I gather my things and step out of my office. I inform Tia, "Tia, I'll be stepping out for a bit. Hold the fort, okay?"

Tia nods, giving me a curious look. "Of course, Ma'am. Everything alright?"

"Absolutely," I say, unable to hide my excitement. "Just need to take care of something."

I make my way to my car, feeling a rush of excitement. As I drive to our regular restaurant, I imagine the look of surprise on Abir's face. The thought fills me with a warm, happy feeling. It's these small moments that make life special.

Pulling into the parking lot, I spotted Abir's car already there. Perfect timing. I park my car and quickly walk to the entrance, my heart beating a little faster in anticipation. Inside, I spot them sitting at our usual table: Abir, Advik, and Diya, engrossed in conversation.

Taking a deep breath, I straighten my outfit and quietly approach their table. As I get closer, I hear them talking and laughing.

Mishti approached their usual table at the restaurant, noticing Diya, Advik, and Abir. Beside Abir, a girl was sitting with him, facing Advik and Diya across the table. As she got closer, Mishti squinted, trying to figure out who the girl was.

Clearing her throat to get their attention, Mishti watched as all heads turned toward her. Her eyes landed on the girl beside Abir - Riya. An irritated smile crept onto Mishti's face as she glared at Abir for a moment, then looked at Advik, who had the same annoyed expression, clearly indicating he was also not fond of Riya's presence.

Riya, not seeming thrilled to see Mishti, spoke up, trying to assert herself. "Oh, Mishti, you're here. We were just-"

Mishti cut her off, her tone firm. "Riya, get up from that seat."

Riya's eyes widened in surprise. "Excuse me?"

"You're excused," Mishti replied, her voice calm but leaving no room for argument. Advik suppressed a chuckle, barely managing to keep a straight face.

Riya sputtered, "But-"

Mishti stepped closer, her eyes narrowing. " It's my place Now get up. My boyfriend doesn't seem pleased with you."

Riya huffed but, seeing the determination in Mishti's eyes and the smirks on Diya and Advik's faces, she stood up reluctantly. Mishti took the seat next to Abir, who looked both relieved and amused.

"Thanks for making space," Mishti said sweetly, her irritation now masked by a charming smile.

Abir wrapped an arm around Mishti, pulling her close. "I was wondering when you'd get here," he murmured, pressing a kiss to her temple.

Mishti smiled up at him, her earlier irritation melting away in his presence. "Couldn't miss surprising you, could I?"

Diya and Advik exchanged amused glances while Riya, now standing awkwardly beside the table, finally mumbled an excuse and left. As soon as she was gone, the group burst into laughter.

"You handled that perfectly," Diya said, still chuckling.

Advik nodded. "Absolutely. She had it coming."

Mishti shrugged, feeling the satisfaction of having put Riya in her place. "Well, I couldn't let her think she could cozy up to Abir without consequences."

Abir squeezed her shoulder. "And I wouldn't have it any other way."

" Aur tum ek baat btao , vo yha kya kr rhi thi " Mishti nudged as she glared at abir and asked him .

Abir gulped , " I don't know mishti , ham teeno hi aaye the , she saw us and usne khdko invite krliya phir hamne kuch kaha ni "

" Haa , advik aur Diya ne nahi kaha toh tum bhi nahi kahoge haina .
Muh me dahi jam ri haina smj gyi m theek hai "

" Aree mishti , sach me . Acha nahi lgta na aise "

" Tumhe kya farak pdta h ki usse kuch acha lage ya na lage " Mishti folded her hands and looked at the boyfriend of hers who was silent now .

" Correct sweetheart, from now on I promise I won't entertain her . Sidha mana krdenge haina advik and diya" Abir said giving mishti a smile while looking at his best friends who are laughing at him .

The laughter and conversation flowed naturally. Advik, ever the instigator, leaned in with a mischievous glint in his eye. "You know, Abir, I think it's hilarious how scared you are of Mishti. Itna khauff"

Abir, without missing a beat, shot back with a grin, "Haan toh apni pasandida aurat se nahi darunga toh kisse darunga? Only she has the right."

Mishti beamed with pride at Abir's response, her heart swelling as she looked at him. His words were more than just a playful retort; they were a testament to their bond.

Advik chuckled, shaking his head. While mishti looked at him and said ,
"Dekhlena tum bhi apni pasandida aurat se daroge "

"Arre, darta hai vo," Abir added, his voice dripping with mock seriousness. Advik's eyes widened , while Diya turned her gaze sharply towards him, curiosity piqued as her face changed with some unknown emotion.

Mishti's attention snapped to Abir, her eyes narrowing with curiosity. "Wait, really?" She mouthed

Abir nodded, his expression confirming the tease. Mishti's imagination ran wild, picturing the normally unflappable Advik flustered by someone special. "Oh my god!" she exclaimed inwardly, a grin spreading across her face.

Mishti, not one to miss a beat, leaned in closer to the table across advik . "So, who's the lucky lady?"

Advik fumbled for words, his face turning a shade of red. "It's not... I mean, there's no one..."

Abir and Mishti exchanged a knowing look, enjoying Advik's discomfort. "Come on, spill the beans," Mishti urged, her tone playful but insistent.

Advik sighed, realizing he was cornered. "Alright, alright. There might be someone... but that's all you're getting out of me!"

" Kon hai vo , mujhe bhi btao " Diya said while her eyes depicting something else .

Advik gulped and looked at abir . As abir laughed while diya looked at both of them . " Theek hai mat btao, Mai bhi nahi btaungi "

" Haa tum mujhe batana " Mishti said smilingly and hified with diya.

The group erupted into laughter again, the atmosphere light and filled with camaraderie. As the conversation shifted to other topics, Mishti couldn't help but feel grateful for these moments of joy and connection. She nestled closer to Abir, content in the knowledge that she had found her person, and that their circle of friends was just as supportive and loving as they were playful.
