The morning sun filtered softly through the curtains, casting a warm glow over Abir's penthouse bedroom. Abir and Mishti lay cuddled together under the covers, finding comfort and peace in each other's arms. Mishti's head rested on Abir's chest, her hand clutching his shirt as if anchoring herself to him even in her sleep. Abir held her close, his face buried in her hair, both of them finally at ease after the whirlwind of events.

Suddenly, the door to their room creaked open. The intrusion was almost comically slow, as if the intruders were trying to be sneaky but failing miserably. Abir’s eyes fluttered open, narrowing with irritation. He carefully laid Mishti back onto the bed, untangling himself from her with the utmost gentleness to avoid waking her.

Standing in the doorway were their friends and siblings: Kartik, Naira, Abhimaan, Ishaan, and Tara , advik and diya . Each of them wore a mix of concern and amusement on their faces. Kartik, ever the leader, stepped forward with a sheepish grin.

“Good morning, lovebirds,” Kartik greeted, his tone playful but soft to avoid waking Mishti.

Abir sat up, running a hand through his messy hair, trying to shake off the remnants of sleep. His eyes, however, were sharp and filled with irritation.

“What are you all doing here?” he whispered harshly, casting a glance back at Mishti to make sure she was still asleep.

Naira stepped forward, placing a hand on Kartik's arm. “We just wanted to check on Mishti and you,” she explained, her voice barely above a whisper.

" Itni subah " Abir whispered.

Abhimaan chimed in, his voice equally soft but laced with his usual humor. “Plus, we thought you might need some breakfast company.”

Abir sighed, his irritation softening slightly. He couldn't stay mad at them for caring, even if their timing was less than ideal. “Fine,” he muttered, “but keep it down. She needs her rest.”

As if sensing the commotion, Mishti stirred slightly, her eyes fluttering open. She looked around, confusion evident in her gaze as she registered the crowd at the door. Abir immediately turned back to her, his expression softening further. “Hey, it’s alright,” he whispered, brushing a strand of hair away from her face. “Just our noisy friends.”

Mishti managed a sleepy smile, her eyes heavy with exhaustion but also warmth. “Morning, everyone,” she greeted, her voice soft and hoarse.

Seeing her awake, Kartik couldn’t resist stepping fully into the room. “Hey, mish. How are you feeling?”

Mishti’s smile widened a bit, and she pushed herself up into a sitting position with Abir’s help. “Better,” she replied. “Just tired.”

Naira stepped closer, holding up a tray of what looked like breakfast foods. “We brought breakfast. We thought you might like some company.”

Abir sighed again but nodded. “Alright, but make yourselves useful. Someone get the coffee started.”

As their friends and siblings busied themselves in the kitchen, Abir turned back to Mishti, his hand gently cupping her cheek. “You sure you’re up for this?”

Mishti nodded, her eyes shining with gratitude and love. “Yes, Abir. I’m sure. Besides, it’s nice to have everyone around.”

He leaned in, pressing a tender kiss to her forehead. “Okay, but if you get tired, just say the word.”

She nodded again, leaning into his touch. “I will. Thank you.”

Abir smiled, feeling a swell of affection for the woman in his arms. Despite the intrusion, he couldn't deny that having their friends and family around was comforting. They were surrounded by love, and that made all the difference.

The group had settled around the living room, the coffee table laden with trays of breakfast food. Mishti, now fully awake, sat beside Abir on the couch, her leg propped up on a cushion. The atmosphere was warm and lively, the room buzzing with conversation and laughter.

Ishaan, Abhimaan, and Tara were sitting on one side, while Advik and Diya took the other. Kartik and Naira sat close to Mishti, all of them stealing glances at each other, their concern for Mishti still evident.

Abhimaan, always the joker, leaned back and grinned at Mishti. "So, Mishti, how's the royal treatment at Abir's palace? Is he spoiling you enough?"

Mishti chuckled, glancing at Abir. "He's trying his best, but you know, there's always room for improvement."

Abir feigned offense, placing a hand over his heart. "Aree! I'm doing my best here!"

Diya piped up, smirking. "Abir, doing his best? That's a first. Usually, he's the one needing to be taken care of."

Advik nodded in agreement. "Yeah, Mishti, you must have your hands full with this one."

Mishti laughed, shaking her head. "Oh, you have no idea. It's like having a full-time job."

Abir rolled his eyes, trying to maintain his dignity. "I am not that bad."

Kartik leaned forward, joining in on the teasing. "Mishti, if he gives you any trouble, just call me. I'll straighten him out."

Naira nudged Kartik playfully. "Yeah, like you could ever be intimidating."

Tara, enjoying the banter, added, "Honestly, Mishti, I think you deserve a medal for putting up with him."

Abhimaan grinned wickedly. "And don't forget to charge him for emotional labor."

Ishaan snickered. "You mean for all the times he’s been a drama queen? Absolutely."

Abir threw his hands up in a mock surrender. "Alright, alright! Enough roasting me. I get it, I'm not perfect."

Mishti smiled, leaning into Abir. "But you’re perfect for me."

The room fell silent for a moment, the genuine affection between Abir and Mishti touching everyone. Then, Advik broke the silence with a mischievous grin. "Well, as long as he remembers who the real boss is."

Abir shot him a playful glare. "Keep it up, Advik. Just keep it up."

Naira, changing the subject slightly, looked at Mishti with a smile. "So, Mishti, any plans now that you're out of the hospital? Aside from keeping Abir in line, of course."

Mishti shrugged lightly. "I think the main plan is to rest and recover. Maybe catch up on some shows and books I've missed."

Diya leaned in, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "And maybe plan a wedding?"

Mishti blushed, glancing at Abir, who was smiling softly at her. "We'll see," she said, her voice light but filled with hope.

Abhimaan clapped his hands together. "Alright, it's settled then. While Mishti recovers, we'll all pitch in and help. Right, everyone?"

A chorus of agreement filled the room, the warmth and camaraderie enveloping them all. Despite the teasing and the jokes, there was an unspoken understanding and support that bound them together. And in that moment, Mishti knew she was surrounded by people who genuinely cared for her.

The lively breakfast continued, the room filled with chatter and laughter. After a while, Kartik suggested they play a game to lighten the mood even more.

"How about we play dumb charades?" Kartik proposed, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

Everyone agreed enthusiastically, and they quickly formed teams. Mishti and Abir were on one team, along with Advik and Diya. The other team consisted of Kartik, Naira, Abhimaan, Ishaan, and Tara.

Abhimaan stood up first, ready to perform. "Okay, I'll go first for our team."

He took a slip of paper with the movie name written on it from Kartik, glanced at it, and then started acting out the clues. He pretended to fish, then pointed at his head, and finally made a flapping motion with his arms.

Ishaan furrowed his brow. "Uh, fishing... head... bird?"

Naira's eyes lit up. "Oh! Machhli Jal Ki Rani Hai?"

Abhimaan shook his head vigorously. He then mimicked the motion of a train and made a chopping gesture.

Tara gasped. "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge!"

Abhimaan clapped and nodded excitedly. Their team cheered, and it was now Abir's team's turn.

Mishti decided to go next as she comfortably sat on the couch and actioned. She pulled out a slip of paper, read the title, and grinned mischievously. She started with a gesture of someone being tired, followed by a sleeping gesture, then pointed to the sky.

Abir watched her carefully. "Tired... sleeping... sky?"

Advik snapped his fingers. "Sooraj! Sun! Oh, Sooraj Barjatya? No, wait!"

Mishti made a motion like turning a clock, indicating time passing, and then pointed to the sky again.

Diya's eyes widened.
"Oh! Suryavansham?"

Mishti nodded, and their team erupted in cheers.

Next, Ishaan stood up for his team. He glanced at the slip and immediately started mimicking a child, then pointed to his heart and made a sad face.

Naira tilted her head. "Child... heart... sad? Oh! Taare Zameen Par?"

Ishaan nodded vigorously, and their team celebrated.

It was Advik's turn next. He took his slip of paper, read it, and looked a bit perplexed. Then he started acting as if he was lifting a heavy object, followed by pretending to sing.

Abir raised an eyebrow. "Lifting... singing... heavy? Bodyguard?"

Advik shook his head and started pointing to an imaginary watch, indicating time.

Mishti's eyes lit up. "Oh! Zanjeer?"

Advik nodded, and their team cheered again.

The game continued with more laughter and playful teasing as they guessed movies like "Sholay," "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham," and "Dil Chahta Hai." The cheerful banter and the light-hearted competition brought a sense of normalcy and joy to the group, making Mishti feel more at home and loved.

As the game wrapped up, Kartik leaned back, grinning. "We should definitely do this more often. It's been a while since we've all had this much fun together."

Abir nodded, his arm around Mishti. "Absolutely. And next time, we'll bring more challenging movies."

Mishti smiled, her heart full. Despite everything, she knew she had family and friends who would always stand by her. And that made all the difference.

The living room was filled with the remnants of their morning fun. Empty coffee cups and plates were scattered around, and everyone was lounging, basking in the afterglow of their cheerful game. The clock struck one, and Abir noticed the time.

"Alright, guys," Abir said, getting up from the couch, "it's time for Mishti's medicines."

He walked over to the kitchen, grabbed a glass of water, and brought her the pills. Mishti sat comfortably on the couch, her leg still propped up on a cushion. She looked up as Abir approached, a small, appreciative smile playing on her lips.

"Here you go," Abir said gently, handing her the glass and the pills.

Mishti took them without protest but then winced slightly. "Abir, my head is starting to hurt."

Concern washed over Abir's face. "Are you feeling okay otherwise? Maybe you should rest a bit."

Everyone else in the room picked up on the change in her demeanor. Kartik, always protective, leaned forward. "Mishti, you should listen to Abir and take a nap. It’s been a long morning."

Naira nodded in agreement. "Yes, resting will help with the headache."

Ishaan, ever the practical one, added, "And you need your strength to recover fully. A little rest will do wonders."

Diya chimed in, her tone soft. "We can keep it quiet out here so you can sleep."

Abhimaan, trying to lighten the mood, joked, "Yeah, we’ll even keep our dumb charades victories down to a whisper."

Everyone chuckled, but their concern for Mishti was evident.

Mishti sighed, feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the attention but grateful nonetheless. "Alright, alright, I'll rest."

Abir helped her up from the couch, supporting her weight carefully. "Come on, let's get you to the bedroom. It’ll be quieter there."

Mishti leaned on Abir as they made their way to the bedroom. She turned back to her friends and family, giving them a reassuring smile. "Thanks, everyone. I'll be fine. I just need a little nap."

Abir settled her into bed, fluffing the pillows and making sure she was comfortable. He brushed a stray lock of hair from her forehead, his touch gentle. "Try to sleep, Mishti. I’ll be right here if you need anything."

Mishti closed her eyes, feeling the dull throb in her head start to fade as she relaxed. "Thank you, Abir. For everything."

Abir smiled, sitting down on the edge of the bed. "Just rest. I'll wake you if you need to take more medicine."

As Mishti drifted off to sleep, Abir sat quietly by her side, watching over her with a protective gaze. The sounds of their friends' muffled conversations drifted in from the living room, a comforting reminder that they were surrounded by love and support.

Abir quietly closed the door to Mishti's room after making sure she was comfortably asleep. He walked back to the living room where their friends and family were gathered, engaged in light conversation. The atmosphere was warm and filled with the lingering joy of the morning's activities.

As Abir approached, Advik was the first to notice him. "Look who's back! The doting boyfriend."

Abir smiled, taking a seat on the couch. "She’s resting. Finally fell asleep."

Diya leaned in, her eyes twinkling mischievously. "So, Abir, when are you planning to make it official? You know, the big 'M' word?"

Abir chuckled nervously. "We haven’t really thought about that yet. We're just focusing on her recovery."

Ishaan smirked, jumping into the teasing. "Come on, man! You can't dodge forever. We all know it’s just a matter of time. Ya phr tu sidha honeymoon pe Jana chata hai bta How about we start planning the honeymoon? Any exotic destinations in mind?"

Abir’s ears turned red, and he rubbed the back of his neck, feeling a bit flustered. "Honeymoon? Guys, seriously, let’s get through the wedding first."

Kartik, enjoying the banter, added, "Well, you better decide quickly. I hear destinations get booked out months in advance. How about a beach resort? Or maybe somewhere in the mountains?"

Naira nudged Kartik playfully. "Leave the poor guy alone. He’s got enough on his plate without worrying about honeymoons right now."

Abhimaan laughed, "Don’t let them get to you, Abir. But honestly, when do you think you’ll pop the question?"

Abir sighed, his cheeks still a bit pink. "I want it to be special. She deserves the best. But with everything that's happened, I’m just taking it one day at a time."

Diya grinned. "Well, whenever it happens, it’s going to be amazing. You two are perfect together. M toh bohot dance aur khaungi piyungi I can't wait abirrr jldi plan krna "

Abir looked at her with a playful glint " tu bas khane ke baarein me sochlio motiii kahi ki " . On this diya just throwed a pillow on him .

Advik leaned back, a playful glint in his eyes. "Just make sure we’re all invited to the wedding. And the bachelor party!"

Abir laughed, finally relaxing a bit. "Of course you’re all invited. I wouldn’t want to get married without my closest friends and family there."

Ishaan raised an eyebrow, still grinning. "And the bachelor party? Any wild plans?"

" Oye koi wild plan ni haa ni toh btadu Mai phle hi . Mujhe pta h ladke log ke wild plan kya hote hai " Tara chimed btw and glared at ishaan .

Abir shook his head, laughing. "I’m sure you guys will come up with something. Just don’t get me into too much trouble."

The group continued their cheerful banter, making Abir feel lighter and more at ease. The teasing was all in good fun, and it reminded him how lucky he was to have such supportive friends and family.
