Tigerstar

Tigerstar stared down at the empty clearing. ThunderClan was still grieving for the loss of Bluestar, but Tigerstar didn't care. He was finally leader! Yeah he had to kill Bluestar to get here, but it was still awesome.

Tigerstar knew exactly what he'd do next. He watched as the ginger pelt slipped out of the warriors' den, followed by a dark gray pelt. Fireheart and Graystripe, the only two cats that know the truth. They need to go. Tigerstar leapt down from Highrock and padded over to them.

Darkstripe, whom was Tigerstar's deputy, padded out of the warriors' den, followed by the rest of the warriors as he started to assign patrols. "Fireheart you'll go with-" Darkstripe started but was interrupted.

"Me. Fireheart and Graystripe will go on patrol with me," Tigerstar meowed smoothly, padding over to the two younger warriors. Fireheart exchanged a glance with Graystripe. "Come on," Tigerstar snapped, turning and padding out of the camp.

Fireheart and Graystripe followed behind him, clearly startled that Tigerstar wanted them for a patrol. Tigerstar led them through the forest and over by Twolegplace. Tigerstar stopped and gave a small lash of his tail. "Let's hunt," he announced.

"O-Ok," Fireheart meowed. Tigerstar turned and loped off into the forest. He waited until he was out of earshot and let out a growl. "Come out, Brokenstar."

A dark brown tabby tom stepped out of the shadows, followed by a white tom with black paws. "Kill them," He hissed. Brokenstar nodded and him and the white tom bounded off in the direction Tigerstar had come from.

Tigerstar nodded to a cat sitting in the shadows. He had ordered Darkstripe to follow them and go get "help" when he ordered. Darkstripe turned and bounded off in the direction of camp. Tigerstar raked his claws through the dirt, soon he'd be rid of Fireheart and Graystripe.

. . .

Tigerstar padded back into camp, the patrol Darkstripe had fetched had come too late. Fireheart and Graystripe were dead. Tigerstar leapt up onto Highrock and called for a clan meeting. "I have sad news," he announced as the clan gathered beneath him.

"Fireheart and Graystripe are dead," he yowled. Despite him saying "sad news" there was no trace of sadness in his voice. Screeches of outrage greeted his words. "How did it happen?" Whitestorm yowled in shock.

"Brokenstar and Blackfoot were found on our territory a little ways from where Fireheart and Graystripe died. We believe they killed them," he announced. He could hardly keep the happiness out of his voice at the fact that his enemy was dead.

Tigerstar stared down at his shocked clan. "It's not like it's a terrible loss, though," he told them as he leapt down from Highrock. "How could you say that? Fireheart and Graystripe were good warriors!" Willowpelt screeched as he padded into his den.

Tigerstar curled up in his nest and closed his eyes. Fireheart was dead, now he didn't have to worry about anyone trying to stop him when he took over all the clans. A deep purr rumbled in his throat as he thought of how he'd kill the other leaders if they refused to join him.

. . .

Tigerstar padded out into the clearing to greet Nightstar. "Greetings," Tigerstar mewed, dipping his head. "Hello, Tigerstar," Nightstar meowed calmly. "What do you want?"

"Your clan," Tigerstar growled. "You can either join me, and let me lead, or you can die and let me lead." Nightstar stared at him in astonishment as the darn brown tabby tom threatened to kill him.

"You can never have ShadowClan, Tigerstar," Nightstar hissed. Tigerstar rolled his eyes. "That might be what you think, but it's not the truth," he growled. Tigerstar launched forward and in an instant was at Nightstar's throat.

"Big mistake. You should never leave your throat unguarded," Tigerstar sneered, sinking his teeth into the elderly black Tom's throat. "Give me ShadowClan."

"Never!" Nightstar gasped as Tigerstar bit down harder, feeling the gush of blood in his mouth. "Well then, it was nice knowing you," Tigerstar hissed, raking his claws down Nightstar's stomach.

The black tom sank down, his eyes glazing over. Tigerstar let go of his throat and took a step back, licking his lips to get rid of the taste of blood. He stared down at the body and turned and padded away.

. . .

Tigerstar sat calmly on the great rock at Fourtrees. "Where's Nightstar?" Someone called out. Tigerstar gave a small twitch of his tail as he stared down at the clans, waiting for the gathering to begin.

Tallstar called the gathering to a start. "WindClan is good, we have a new apprentice, Gorsepaw!" He reported. "Gorsepaw! Gorsepaw!" The clans chanted.   Tallstar sat down and Leopardstar stood up.

"RiverClan is good, the prey is running well. We had a little trouble with twolegs, but nothing too bad," She reported before sitting down. Tigerstar got to his paws and glanced around at the clans.

"Fireheart and Graystripe have died, they were killed  by rogues," Tigerstar announced. Gasps of shock came from some of the clans. Tigerstar waited until he was able to make himself heard and then continued.

"ThunderClan has taken over ShadowClan. Nightstar thought he could refuse to surrender to us, but he learned that he had no choice," Tigerstar said with a smirk as he flexed his claws.

He turned to face Leopardstar and Tallstar. "Same with you two. Y'all can either surrender your clans to me and stay alive, or die and watch me take your clans," He meowed calmly. "Never!" Leopardstar yowled, bristling.

"You can't have WindClan!" Tallstar hissed, getting to his paws. Tigerstar watched the two leaders calmly. "You have no choice. I'm taking over the clans wether you like it or not," He told them. "You have until next Gathering to give me your answer." Tigerstar leapt down from the great rock and gathered his clans with a flick of his tail.

. . .

Tigerstar leapt up onto Highrock and gazed down at his clan. "Let all those old enough to kill, gather beneath the Highrock for a clan meeting!" He yowled out. Cats limped out from dens and gathered around.

"From now on, if you can't catch your on prey then you have no spot in TigerClan," he announced, glaring down at the elders. They took up too much room. "We will be stepping up the training of all apprentices nearing the age of becoming a warrior," he continued.

"Remember, show no mercy to your enemies!" He yowled, before leaping down from Highrock. Most the clan darted off when the meeting had finished, but a few stayed behind. Tigerstar looked up as Goldenflower padded up.

"What do you want?" He asked, watching the she-cat that was nursing his kits. "You used to be such and honorable and loyal warrior, Tigerstar," Goldenflower murmured. "But you've changed. You've fallen so far from the wonderful warrior you used to be. I won't be your mate anymore," She hissed.

Tigerstar narrowed his eyes as she padded off. You think I care? Tigerstar shook his head and padded off into his den. He had achieved his goal, he was the leader of all four clans in the forest. There was nothing anyone could do to stop him now.
