Chapter 2
Present
"Get up!"
No I don't want to get up. Let me stay in my wonderful dream land.
"Get up now!"
Please don't make me leave Zac Efron.
"Iris I swear if you miss that bus? I'll-"
"-I'm up" I screamed in frustration.
My mother looked down at me with a tiny smile.
"Good" she smiled "Now get your ass out of bed!"
"Love you too" I grumbled as I rolled out of my bed and practically fell o the floor.
"You should, I made you chocolate chip pancakes" and with that she left the room, shutting the door and leaving me to my silence.
I stretched my arms and legs and began my morning routine.
Ten minutes later I was down stairs in black leggings and a jean jacket.
"Why don't you straighten your hair?" She grabbed a strand of my hair, examining my natural waves.
I shrugged "Guess I'm just lazy" True but not total truth. I straighten my hair when I go out. But when it comes to school I could care less.
"Ok well" my mother trailed off. She knew I wasn't happy of where I'm going. "Have fun at your new school"
"Uh huh" I responded and left.
Walking down the street my thoughts carried with me.
Ever since my first move when I was seven years old, I left my best friend and my sanity. I've been moving to different cities since then.
However, with every move my attitude and actions had gotten worse. I got tangled up in gangs and street fights. After I had landed myself in jail, my mother thought that it was enough.
So what did she do? She moved again. However this time I'm back in my home town. It's been ten years since I've been here.
"Looks like I'm stuck here" I noted as I stopped at the bus stop.
I've never took the school bus before because I usually had my motorcycle. Mother took that away.
I don't see how she thinks this town is going to make who I was. A town can't change a person.
Doesn't matter. The sooner I get to school the sooner I can cause some wreckage. And hopefully that'll knock some sense into my mother that I'm the way I am.
The bus pulled in front of me, shinning is red lights. The door slowly opens in front of me.
Shaking my head I took the first step on the bus and forward I went.
"Look at her" A guy whistled in the back.
"Hot mama you can come sit with me" one guy offered, which I happily declined.
The bus is full of kids who are not old enough for a car and others who are too immature.
I was near the middle of the bus when a guy straight up walked to me. He went to reach for my head and try to pull for a kiss. He didn't get that far though, I punched him straight in the jaw. He stumbled back a few feet, holding his jaw.
"Oh Kyle you got a feisty lady" One of 'kyles' friend laughed.
Kyle stood there holding his already bruised jaw. "Damn feisty" he laughed as he walked back to his group of friends.
I rolled my eyes. 'Boys' I thought as I took an empty seat.
Luckily the bus ride was short so I wouldn't have to deal with anymore immature boys.
The bus rolled to a stop and one by one everyone singly filed off the large death trap.
I was close to getting off the bus when the bus driver stopped me from my path.
"Yes?" I asked annoyed. I mean I didn't want to go to school. But I sure as hell didn't want to stay here!
The bus driver, who was an old man, handed me a slip of paper. I took it with a curious gaze, and left the bus.
Once I descended the stairs I opened the paper.
This is a bus report 1, meaning warning 1. Once a student reaches to a third warning. That student is not permitted on the bus to any extent. Any question please contact us at (123) 123-4567
Huh a bus report, I didn't even know those things exist.
~~~~~
I never had a bus report so I don't exactly know what they look like but I tried.
Let me know in the comments if I should change something.
