Daichi's pov
I walked alongside Suga as we headed to practice. He was talking to me about something, but I wasn't really listening, all I could do was gaze into his big, light brown eyes, they lit up whenever he was passionate about something. His messy silver-grey hair looked so soft. His smooth skin, and loving smile.

How could my best friend be this cute? There was only one answer for that.

I had a huge crush on my best friend, Sugawara Koushi.

I had only started to realize now how much he flustered me, when I stood close to him, and laughed, and talked with him, I felt this warm, fuzzy feeling.

My heart would go a mile a minute.

Was I gay? I guess I was..I never really paid attention to finding a crush. Even though he had been there in front of me most of my life.

We finally got to volleyball practice, Hinata and Kageyama were already there, along with a couple others.

"Finally! I wanna start practice now so I can spike some balls!!" Yelled Hinata excitedly. I chuckled along with Suga at his excitement

"Dumbass! Stop screaming all the time!" Yelled Kageyama

"Psh, says you, Bakageyama." Huffed Hinata,

"Come on guys, stop fighting, it's good that Hinata is so passionate about volleyball, don't you think, Daichi?" Said Suga, like the mom he is.

"Yep." I answered a bit awkwardly

I watched Suga smile and laugh with everyone as they all eventually showed up in the gym. I felt so giddy.

I can't even begin to describe why Suga is so perfect. There are no words.

I tried my best as the captain to focus on practice. My receives were a bit off. But all I could do was think about Suga.

During practice, Suga would give me worried looks. I would just melt inside when I see him look at me.

I wonder what it would be like if I told him I liked him?

Practice seemed like it would never end, it went by slowly, but it was eventually over.

"Hey, are you okay Daichi? You seemed a bit out of focus today." Asked Suga, wiping his skin glistening with sweat with a towel.

I gulped nervously.

"Y-yeah, Im fine. Wanna walk home together?" I smiled

"Sure!" He beamed at me.

I felt my heart melt at the sight of his shining smile.

Suga's pov

Daichi and I left after all the other did, to clean up the gym. We started on our way down the path we walked to and from school every day, to our houses that were quite close to each other.

Daichi was being really cute today...although I shouldn't think that! He's my best friend,  if I confessed I would probably just ruin everything. Besides, he probably doesn't swing that way. I have more important things to worry about than my emotions.

But today he was blushing a lot, maybe he likes someone? I hope it's me...ugh! Why am I thinking that! I'm so selfish, I need to be happy for him! I'm getting ahead of myself.

"Suga..are you okay, your face is all scrunched up." Chuckled Daichi.

"Haha, yeah I'm fine, just thinking about all the homework I have to do...ugh, so annoying." I smiled at him.

He looked down at his feet.

"Yeah, we have that test tomorrow, right?" He asked, continuing the conversation

"Yep! And make sure you study, You slacker. " I giggled and nudged him.

"Ow! Okay okay, will do, mom."

I puffed out my cheeks at his comment, but then I laughed with him.

"You know, everyone calls us 'the parents' of the volleyball team." I laughed

"What? Ive only heard them call you mom." He said

"Nope, they call you Dad, too." I laughed

"I don't know whether I feel complimented or insulted right now" he chuckled in his deeper voice.

Ahhhh. His laugh made me feel so happy. He was so attractive, I seriously don't know why he isn't in a relationship. His sharp jawline, his pretty eyes, don't get me started on his broad shoulders and biceps,  and his laugh, I couldn't contain myself. I felt heat rise in my cheeks as we were soon arriving at my house.

"Alright Suga, I'll see you tomorrow." He said turning his back and raising his hand to wave. I blushed more when he said my name.

"Bye Daichi, see you!"

"Don't forget about our practice match with Seijoh tomorrow too!"  I said, beaming back at him.

"Don't worry, I won't." I thought I saw him blush a little just then...
