Epilogue

Third person pov

Taehyung bounces the child on his lap, hoping he'd hurry up with his work. The alpha pup looked up at him with wide eyes, furrowing his eyebrows when Taehyung retracted his hand from his head.

"Jihu," Taehyung whined, looking at him with pleading eyes, "get done with it fast, baby. I have to do a lot of work."

Taehyung hissed when the child bit down on his bud, irritated because he wasn't holding his head and patting on it like he needs to do.

He disliked when his mother wasn't showing him attention. He needed it. He loved it when Taehyung looked at him with adoration and showed his affection.

"Alright, alright," Taehyung said in defeat, placing his hands back on his head, "drink as much as you want and take as long as you want, okay?"

He wondered why his baby was drinking so much.

However annoying it was to sit for a long time to wait for him to fill his tummy, it was really cute to see him round like a ball with a chubby face, arms and body. It was not only adorable but also captivating.

His soft baby skin and plump body always fills his arms when he holds him. He was really small too so his rounder body made him look terribly cute.

But when he had a huge load of work, feeding this cruel baby wasn't cute.

He could get up to feed his pup as many times as he has to at night or stay with the child as long as he wants in the morning after Hayoon left for school, not right in the morning when he had to make breakfast from his daughter before she goes to school.

Junho continued to drink messily, his tiny ball-like fist placed on Taehyung's chest and tummy, pushing him softly very time he sucked in the harsh and greedy way he does.

Taehyung tried to push him away softly and convince him into feeding him later, but the pup broke out in a whiny fake crying. Taehyung sighed, frustrated. He let him continue what he was doing.

That's when he remembered that he wasn't a single parent.

He looked behind him, gritting his teeth when he saw Jungkook laying peacefully with his legs far apart, his shirt riding to the side to expose his built chest and stomach, snoring.

He looked adorable and hot at the same time, but Taehyung only felt rage on seeing him still sleeping.

Jungkook had stayed up until three in the morning to do Hayoon's project. The girl had forgotten all about the alphabets and numbers project she had to do.

Previous night, she told her parents she had to do a project and submit it by the next day. Taehyung had scolded her and told her not to keep things for doing in the last moment.

While Taehyung had refused to help her and wished for her to get scolded once by her teachers so she could be more responsible, Jungkook refused to let her suffer.

He convinced Taehyung by telling him that Hayoon was too young to worry about all these things and it was completely alright for a child to be irresponsible. She'll learn as she grows.

And after convincing Taehyung, he stayed up until late to do his daughter's project and taking care of Junho who woke up once in a while.

"Jungkook!" Taehyung yelled, reaching his hand out to hit the trueblood's chest. "Get up! It's so damn late already! I'm going to throw something on you if you don't"

The trueblood groaned, pushing his hand away from his chest, frowning in sleep and turning to a more comfortable position.

"Wake up!" Taehyung yelled. He wanted to reach out to hit Jungkook, but before he could do so, he felt sudden wetness all over his chest, stomach and legs and heard coughs from the pup.

He snapped his head to the front, yelping when he sees that the child had just spit out all the milk on him.

"Junho!" he yelled at the child, looking at him with an angry expression, unamused by this play of his.

All this while he had been wondering why the pup was taking so long to fill his stomach, but that wasn't even the matter.

All the child intended to do was suck on his bud, not drink anything. He wasn't hungry, just messing with his mom the first thing in the morning.

He had kept the milk in his mouth and spat it out on him when his mouth was filled.

This was just so frustrating to Taehyung. Jungkook not waking up was making him even annoyed.

The alpha pup flinched on hearing his mom's rough tone and jutted his lips out, his cheeks becoming fuller and redder, looking like small and round tomatoes, as his lips stretched further into a line. He sniffled, ready to break out in cries.

He looked at Taehyung with sad and startled eyes. His fisted hands were placed against Taehyung's stomach.

The next second, he began wailing. Taehyung's anger immediately crumbled down. His sharp features turned into a calmer, guilty one, and he hugged the baby, feeling dirty because he was still all wet from the milk.

"Aww, did I startle you?" Taehyung cooed, patting his back. "I'm sorry, my puppy. You shouldn't do stuff like that, yeah? I was in a hurry and you held me back from leaving just to do these mischievous things. That's bad. My puppy isn't a bad boy, is he?"

He sways from side to side, his six-month-old clutching on his mother even though Taehyung was the reason he was crying and was sad. This habit of his is so heart-melting to his parents.

Junho would usually hold the person who made him cry by until that person calms down and looks at him with sweetness rather than anger.

He wouldn't push them away and get angry himself. He would hold the person until everything was back to normal.

"This is so wrong," Taehyung commented, looking at his innocent pup, speaking in a baby voice. "You do all the mistakes and make me say sorry. You're misusing those puppy eyes of yours."

The way his curious pup looked at his lips while he spoke was just so cute. He was so adorable that it made it difficult for Taehyung to yell at him when he does something wrong.

Those cute puppy eyes when filled with tears makes Junho look hundred times cuter but makes Taehyung lose all his emotions of anger immediately.

It was as impactful as his own eyes.

Jungkook was one such father who wouldn't even yell at the kids even if they do something really bad. He was worried that they'd grow distant from him if he yelled at them.

Taehyung on the other hand was the only one who yelled at both the children, but he couldn't remain angry for long. Once he sees their sadness, his heart would melt and he'd apologise to them.

While Hayoon, their overdramatic child, would sit in a corner of the house with a grumpy expression, refusing to talk to Taehyung after getting scolded, Junho would stick to his mother until he is sure that he isn't angry anymore.

The child was completely like Jungkook though he looked small and cute like him. He was not only introverted but aggressive when angry, just like Jungkook.

He would hit any stranger who dared to take him from Taehyung. Everyone except Jungkook, Jimin, Yoongi and Namjoon are strangers to the boy.

Even Hoseok and Jin who always try desperately to win his heart but never succeed to do so.

Junho recognizes the two of these "strangers" as soon as he sees them though. They weren't strangers but still were strangers to him.

He would immediately look away from the three of them when they came in sight and bury himself in his parent's embrace when they came near.

He would cry and whine when they tried to carry him then get aggressive and hit them with his tiny limbs until they let him go.

It made Jungkook and Taehyung laugh so hard, especially because Hoseok always looked like he was going to cry after being rejected by Junho.

The alpha pup seemed to like Yoongi even if the beta doesn't like being with kids. He'd look at Yoongi with big eyes, extending his arms to him to be taken into his arms even if Yoongi rejected to carry him.

And Namjoon... He just couldn't resist the baby's cute eyes and would fulfil all his wishes him. He would smile his dimple smile at the pup even if he was terrified on the inside, wondering if his strong arms would hurt the baby.

Neither Yoongi nor Namjoon liked babies, but Jihu loved them.

Perhaps, he just likes people who are hard to get.

Whereas, with Jimin, the child was completely normal. Jimin was the one he was used to having near.

Overall, Junho wasn't that naughty and was rather understanding even at his young age.

The only difficulty Taehyung had with Jihu was to understand the emotions of the child. Hayoon was extremely expressive while the second child was the total opposite of that.

Whether he's happy, sad, angry or annoyed, there are very few changes to his expression which would let you know how he's feeling. The biggest thing was, he never makes any baby noises.

The only time they had ever hear his sweet voice is when he whines, cries and whimpers.

He would keep completely quiet at every other time, including the time he was playing, eating or even when he is feeling sick and weird.

His expressions are always the same: lips pressed in a thin and straight line, almond eyes looking curious of everything around him and soft features remaining peaceful.

Because of this, Taehyung and Jungkook had failed to understand that he was sick a few months back. With two whole days of him being sick, none of them even knew.

When three days passed, the pup couldn't stop crying at all. He cried the whole night in discomfort and pain while his parents were clueless about what has happened to him.

Later on, when they discovered that his body was warmer than usual, they took him to the hospital.

Both the parents had been scared out of their minds that day, wondering what had happened to the pup, but it wasn't anything serious, just a slight fever due to the temperature changes.

Keeping all of that aside, Taehyung had a huge load of work to do right now and his mate ans child weren't helping him. He kicked his mate with his leg when Jungkook refused to wake up.

"Wake up, you dumb trueblood!" he yelled, pecking his son's face and wiping away Junho's tears. Jungkook groaned, finally opening his eyes, feeling the sting in his legs after being kicked.

"It's late," Taehyung whined, handing the baby to Jungkook who grinned widely and took the excited pup into his arms.

Junho wrapped his warm arms around Jungkook's arm--- as his small arms couldn't wrap around Jungkook's torso---hugging him. Jungkook laughed heartily, showering his baby with all the attention he needed.

"Jihu," he cooed, sitting upright. Taehyung left the room to go to his daughter and wake her up. "My berry, how are you?"

Jungkook noticed the dried tears on his son's cheeks and pouted at his son, resisting a smile when the curious baby extended his arm to hold his pouty lips.

"Did mommy scold Jihu?" he asks in a baby voice, placing him on his torso and ruffling his hair. "Did my baby cry right now?"

Junho nodded to everything he said and asked. He always only nodded as an answer.

"What did you do to anger him, hmm?" he asks, eyes raking over the wetness on his shirt, smelling like milk. Junho nodded as an answer again. "Did you throw up on yourself and him?"

Junho nodded again, his chubby cheeks shaking with every nod.

Still unsure of what happened before he woke up, Jungkook shrugged. His wolf was wagging his tail after seeing the puppy, wishing to talk to his child too.

"My puppy," Oberon rasped, voice as sweet as he could make it. He licked his forehead to show him affection, but Jungkook told him to stop doing that as it irritated the pup.

After the wolf was done seeing the baby to his heart's content, Jungkook took over again. Oberon had been awake all this time, even when Jungkook was sleeping, and could've taken control earlier too but he just got too shy near Taehyung.

He got shy near Venus too. When he and the omega wolf had conversation through the link, he would feel so fucking contended but was very shy around him too.

He had finally allowed himself to feel emotions freely so he was trying not to suppress his emotions when he was around Venus. Fortunately, the reactions and embarrassed feeling is so small that Venus doesn't notice it.

He loved Venus; there was no doubt in that any more.

He doesn't know how to tell Venus about this but he would tell it one day.

Jungkook got our of the bed and grabbed a few tissues to wipe Junho's face.

It was Jungkook's duty to wash and dress both his babies in the morning.

He heard the clanking of vessels from downstairs and understood that Taehyung was in the kitchen.

He went to Hayoon's room and found the girl sleeping on the floor near her closet. Jungkook shook his head, knowing that she had pretended to wake up in front of her mother and came here to sleep again.

"Hayoon," he called, crouching down. Upon hearing his elder sister's name, Junho turned around and looked at the girl with shining eyes.

Again, he loved having the attention of people who don't like him much.

He extended his hand, grabbing onto the stands of her long hair and tugging at it harshly, showing off his power as an alpha even though he looked like nothing more than a cute omega.

Hayoon screamed awake from sleep and Jungkook gasped, tried to pry Junho's hands off her hair.

But he didn't stop. He extended his other hand to grab her hair too.

"You monkey!" Hayoon yelled, clenching her fists to not hurt the baby as had gotten a good amount of lecture from Taehyung for doing so a few months ago.

Who wanted this pest anyway? She would throw him away the first chance she gets, but she'd be yelled at by her mom for being "an irresponsible sister" which she hated listening to.

"Jihu!" Jungkook whisper yelled, keeping his voice low to not scare the child. "baby, let go!"

"Mommy!" Hayoon yelled and immediately got a response from Taehyung from downstairs.

"Junho, I'm going to send you off to Hoseok if you don't stop misbehaving!" even though the voice was distant and low, the baby got on the right track after hearing his strict mom's voice.

The threat didn't scare him. Hell, hw didn't even understand what Taehyung was saying.

But his mom's voice did scare him.

Jungkook sighed, massaging Hayoon's scalp to soothe the pain. "Sorry, Hayoonie."

The girl pouted, hugging her father, poking her tongue out to the alpha child but quickly putting it back in her mouth when he reached his small hand out to grab on the tongue.

If only she could cut his hands off...

Somehow, Jungkook managed to bathe and dress both of them up. The dinosaur onesie he put on Junho was adorable while his daughter looked elegant and beautiful even in the uniform.

He tied Hayoon's hair in a neat pony, smiling when she nodded in satisfaction. She loved only the ponytails he put on her for, and that made him feel proud.

After he was done, he brought both the kids downstairs, finding Taehyung placing a plate on the table, urging Hayoon to eat quickly before her uncle, Hoseok, comes to pick her up and drop her off at school.

That was Hoseok's duty. He was in charge of dropping and picking Hayoon from her school.

Hoseok and Yoongi were planning to adopt a child in future. Spending time with Hayoon and Jihu was just their way of preparing for their future child.

However, Junho hated Hoseok with all his heart. No reason to it. He didn't like those who gave him all their unwanted attention.

Jungkook placed the baby on the floor after spreading a blanket there. Junho ignored all of his toys which were placed on the floor and reached forward to grab Hayoon's doll.

He smashed the doll on the floor several times, and Jungkook was too busy admiring the mother-daughter's interaction to pay attention to him.

Junho aimed the doll at Hayoon's head and threw it at her, successfully hitting her right on her head.

Taehyung gasped and reached his hand to rub her head immediately. She gasped, whining before angrily getting down the chair and stomping her way to Junho who seemed completely unfazed.

"Hayoonie, no!" Jungkook said, trying ro hold her back.

Before she could throw herself on the child and smash him to a pulp, the door barged open and Hoseok's cheery voice was heard.

"Hayoon! Jihu!"

The alpha puppy immediately tensed looked around with hia eyes wide in fear.

He extended his arms towards his father, asking to be taken into his arms before the sun monster would come to get him. Jungkook chuckled, shaking his head and rejecting to carry Junho.

Hayoon rushed to her uncle and gave him a warm and big hug, forgetting about what her brother just did.

Hoseok showed his excitement by cheering and hugging her, cuddling her close to himself before he let her go and walked to Junho.

Hoseok was dressed well and in a formal manner as he had to go to his workplace right after he was done with dropping Hayoon off at her school on the way.

"Jihu," he called, smiling warmly at the boy. The baby let out a tiny sound, attempting to make it sound like a threatening growl which was too tiny and cute to threaten anyone, before he scooted away from Hoseok's hands.

Hoseok pouted. "Why does he hate me so much?"

Jungkook wanted to take the baby in his arms, disliking how desperately he was trying to come to either of his parents, but Taehyung told him not to do so.

"Puppy," Hoseok cooed in a baby voice, trying to make Junho understand that he meant no harm.

Junho whimpered, bringing his hands back to himself in defeat as his parents were not taking him. He wanted to be in Jungkook's arms, but his father wasn't doing what he wants.

Hoseok sighed and looked up at Taehyung, raising his brows when Taehyung told him to continue trying to take Junho into his arms. He didn't know what the omega was doing but decided to do as told.

Taehyung crouched down a few feet away from Junho and made grabby hands at him. "Come, baby. Come to me."

He held his breath in, hoping that Jihu would crawl to him. He has been waiting for his baby to crawl to him for so long.

Jungkook copied Taehyung's actions, smirking at him. The one who Junho loves will be the one he crawls to.

Taehyung glared at him. "Junho, come here. Come to your mom, pup."

Jungkook shook his head, saying, "No, baby. Come to me. I'll buy you toys—"

"Don't you dare," Taehyung growled. "You brought him a toy just two days ago. Don't you dare waste money."

Jungkook shrugged playfully, grinning at Junho. They waited patiently for him to crawl to them while urging him with their words.

Hoseok shook his head and stood up, leaving without making his disappearance obvious.

He was getting late; he didn't have time for the seeing this sweet interaction. He held Hayoon's hand, carrying her school bag for her and leaving the house while speaking to her.

Meanwhile, Taehyung and Jungkook continued to lure Junho into crawling to them.

Junho looked back and forth between them before sitting back down, giving up after realizing that Hoseok had left already.

He felt hungry again--as he hadn't drank enough milk the previous time and just messed around--and began sucking on his bottom lip, letting Taehyung know that he is hungry.

The omega smirked in delight and removed the first two buttons of his shirt and said, "Jihu, come here. You're hungry, right? Come to me. Let me feed you."

"That's not fair!" Jungkook stated. He gasped, eyes widening when he sees Junho getting on his knees and try to scoot ahead by pressing his palms on the floor and pulling his body forward.

He found it difficult to move forward as his hands didn't have enough power to carry push himself forward.  He let out a huge irritated whine and made grabby hands at Taehyung, begging him to stop annoying him.

Taehyung laughed at that, carrying him. They didn't need to hurry. He had been worried in the beginning because he was scared that Junho, being an alpha, wasn't growing as fast as he was supposed to.

Jimin told him that even he had been like that. He had started speaking proper words only at three so it was alright even if an alpha grows slowly.

"I don't think he even cares about who he loves more. Maybe... He just loves us equally much," Taehyung says, shaking his head.

The pup struggled to open the rest of the buttons so Jungkook helped him out, pecking his naturally red cheeks as he began drinking again.

"He's really hungry today," Taehyung states. "It's either that he didn't fill his stomach in the morning as he was just trying to annoy me or just that being an alpha Is making him like this."

"It's both the reasons," Jungkook said, knowing his son well. "He's an alpha so it takes more of it to fill his big tummy and what he had drank earlier probably wasn't enough."

"Hmm?" Taehyung hummed at his son who looked at him with wide eyes. "Why are you looking at me like that?"

Sensing a question is being asked, Junho nodded again, not breaking away from his nipple whatsoever.

Jungkook sat down and admired for a while before he realized that he had work to do.

He had to make lunch for his mate and pack it for him so he could go to his office and eat.

He works from home and babysits Junho who sleeps through most of the afternoon—used to staying up at night due to hunger or some other reason—while Taehyung goes to the office for about four hours to make sure everything was going well.

Taehyung couldn't take Junho along as the pup gets all fussy when surrounded by strangers.

"Get ready after this, baby," Jungkook told Taehyung and kissed his lips, grabbing an apron and getting ready to cook.

----------

"Hayoon be a good sister and let your younger brother sleep here today," Taehyung requested, hugging his daughter. The girl grumbled under her breath.

Junho slept in a cradle in their room every day but when they wanted to do a few things, they'd put him on a cradle in Hayoon's room.

"You're such a good elder sister!" Taehyung praised and cheered quietly for her, putting the sleeping baby in the cradle.

He tucked the girl to the bed and switched off the lights before leaving the room to hurry down the corridor and enter his own room.

He found Jungkook sitting on the bed, waiting for him to come.

"Quick," Taehyung said, locking the door behind him. "Let's do it before he starts crying."

Jungkook smirks, opening his arms to welcome him. Taehyung straddled his lap, kissing him as he got to work.

He made sure to use protection, not ready to have another child just yet.

They did it—going on for rounds as they tried to satisfy their desperate selves—and only stopped when they were tired out of their wit, about three hours later.

"Fuck," Jungkook groaned, stretching his back. "My wolf's feeling weird suddenly."

"W-why?" Taehyung asks, taking deep breaths in between to calm himself. He turned around to find red eyes looking at him and yelped.

He grabbed a blanket and hid himself, looking at Oberon, unamused.

Oberon grew red in embarrassment as he looked away.

He had gotten so much better now, almost like a completely normal wolf.

Nothing was holding him back from moving on from the past now. Hyejin's memories were in his heart, and he had learnt to smile while thinking about her.

As he got better and better, he lost control over his heart which yearned for love--the love a dead person couldn't give him. Looking at Taehyung, being with him for most of the day, seeing how madly Jungkook had fallen for him and many other things had him restless and forced him to stop thinking logically.

What if he goes against the rules of friendship and makes a bigger mistake of falling for someone who trusted him enough to not make another mistake?

He just hated the thought of seeing betrayal in Venus' eyes.

When he spoke to Venus, listened to him talk about their pups and other such things, he could see that Venus saw him just as a friend.

What was going to happen to his desperate self then?

If he did fall for Venus... would the omega accept and love him back after the abuse he has tolerated?

Oberon raised his hand in defeat at the omega who was still attempting to cover his marked body and says, "Jihu..."

"What? Do you think he's crying?"

"I don't know," Oberon stated. "I can just feel his uneasiness, and I don't like it one bit."

Taehyung huffed out a deep breath, looking at the door, wondering if any of the kids were facing any problems. Were they fighting? Did Hayoon hurt him?

He decided to just go ahead and see it himself.

He stood on his shaking legs, covering himself with his clothes. He left the room, Oberon coming right behind him.

Taehyung opened Hayoon's room door ajar, making no noise at all, and what he saw made his heart melt within seconds, feeling happiness crawl in him.

Hayoon had joined their pup on the cradle and was trying to calm the fussy, crying puppy who held her shirt tightly, not doing anything to hurt her now.

Just by seeing the way Junho held her shirt, Taehyung could tell that he loved Hayoon because the alpha only held people he loved like that.

He looked at Jungkook and smiled wider when he sees his mate enjoying the scene with heart eyes.

"Shh," Hayoon shushed the pup, not rolling her eyes or having a frown like she usually does when she was near him. Her voice was oddly soft and sweet. "Go back to sleep. There's no monster here, neither is Hoseok uncle going to come to you now. He will be deep asleep."

"That's so sweet," Taehyung whispers, clutching the shirt near his heart to hold back from laughing in adoration. "She's such a mature child."

"You're really sweet too..." Oberon mumbled unconsciously. Taehyung looked at, and his wolf just suddenly took over.

"What?" Venus asks, raising his eyebrows, knowing that he would have to make Oberon confess today.

"you're sweet," Oberon says shyly.

"Yeah?" Venus asks, smiling. "you like me?"

Oberon looked at him with shaking pupils, wondering if he would make things bad by saying the truth. He didn't know he was being asked the sudden question.

But he had a chance to say it now, so why not?

"Yes..."

Venus bursted out a bright smile, but before he could respond, they heard a shrill cry of a baby.

Taehyung cursed at the wolf and took back control, telling him that he could flirt with Oberon some other time.

Oberon, so shy, just gave back control to Jungkook who wished to laugh at his embarrassed state.

The parents wanted to walk away and let Hayoon spend this bonding time with her brother but decided against it because he knew Junho wouldn't sleep until either of them held him.

Taehyung walked into the room, startling Hayoon who immediately pushed herself away, trying to act like she wasn't just trying to calm her biggest enemy down. Taehyung enveloped Hayoon into a bear hug, showering her with praises and love.

Jungkook, who had seen the whole scene felt so proud and satisfied to have a happy and sweet family like them.

This scene—his mate and children's happiness—enthralled him.

His family enthralled him harder and stronger than anything else.

Their smiles, laughs and glee made him happy. Looking at them made him feel contended. Having them close to himself itself felt like a blessing to him.

Jungho, who had enthralled Taehyung—made him his slave and kept him in the dark side of the world—was no more with them now.

And the same boy who had seen darkness always—just like he himself had—enthralled him, captivated him, and stole his heart away. They had been sad before they met each other, but after meeting each other, they became the happiest people, fitting together like a puzzle.

With all the struggles that they went through, with all pain that they experienced, their bond got stronger and stronger.

They became a perfect match.

They were perfect always, but being together brought out the perfect side of theirs.

"Jungkook!" Taehyung yelled, trying to catch his attention. "Come here!"

Jungkook did as ordered by his lovely mate. Taehyung urged him to lay down on Hayoon's bed and put both his puppies on the bed too before himself joining them, tucking both his kids in between them.

"Let's all sleep like this today!" he said, a bright smile on his face. "Like a family."

"I love you all," Jungkook admitted, kissing the crown of Hayoon's head. He received a huge grin from Taehyung who blew a kiss at him.

He truly must be the happiest man.

If it wasn't for Taehyung, he wouldn't be happy. He would still be that harsh and cruel guy living in his past with his father creating more and more problems for him.

He was lucky as he had let himself get enthralled by Taehyung.

His happiness, his heart and his soul were Taehyung, the person who enthralled him.

-----The End-----

FRJEesfenferjnfjfjej yes. It ends there.

That's the end of half a year's journey.

Honestly, I know I could've done better. The basic plot I came up with was nothing new or unique. Jungkook's hurts tae, apologizes to him, and they get back together with a few twists I added myself. However, I'm proud I completed the book and I'll try my best to edit out all other mistakes which I've left out when I was editing before.

I hope reading this book was worth your time lol.

Quickly leave a nice and sweet message for this book and tell me where I could improve (like common grammatical errors, some plot hole, or a place I haven't described well and caused confusion)

okay...

Now it's self promotion time...

I've published a new book called "Scintillating ember eyes." Do check it out!

a part of the description:

"You need to give birth to this child, Taehyung. You need to do so to save both our lives. I can assure you that you're child will live a beautiful life with me and Jungkook. Just... Just help me."

Thank you for the support and love on this book. I really appreciate it.
