Third person pov
"Did you reach, hyung?" Yoongi heard Taehyung's voice in his head. It startled him because of the suddenness, but he managed to remain calm.
"Yeah, I'm here," He said, eyes focused on the space before the other side of the wall he was hiding behind.
His knees were bent a little to hide himself behind the short fence wall as he stared at the back door of the mansion, waiting for the warriors to come out to start practising sword fight.
Why was he doing this?
He had to bring Namjoon and Jin to Jungkook's house as they really needed the couple's help to execute everything they have planned.
Jimin didn't have the alpha's number. As dumb as he was, he admitted that he always travelled all the way to the mansion to gather information rather than just saving Namjoon's phone number and calling him when he needed to know something about Jungho.
None of the alphas among them could come here because their scent was too strong to go unnoticed while Taehyung couldn't come because his mate and his friend had strictly said that they aren't sending him anywhere close to the mansion.
Ultimately, Yoongi had to come here as his scent wasn't strong and he even knew how to fight so in case he does get caught, he could get out easily.
He had been waiting for quite a lot of time for someone to come out the backdoor of this mansion. The backyard was completely empty, and it was slightly annoying for him to wait for so long.
It was a similar frustration he felt when a patient came much after their appointment time, but he manages to hold back all that anger and act like a professional doctor.
As of now, he'll maintain that quality of keeping cool and suppressing anger.
Jimin claimed that the warriors should be out by now for practice, but none of them was in sight.
That was not the only problem he has right now. He didn't know how Namjoon and Jin looked--had never met them before--so recognizing them would take a while too.
Amidst this, if he got caught, Jungho might get alerted. Jungho was smart enough, so he would increase security and then it would become impossible to get the girls out of this place.
He was trying to make sure that he doesn't mess up.
He flinched when the door suddenly barged open. He got stiff as he hid himself completely, not looking up now as he waited to see whether someone knows about his presence.
A few noisy, over-excited and loud warriors walked into the backyard. It annoyed Yoongi even more but felt relieved that they didn't spot him.
He peeked up once in a while, remaining completely quiet and making sure to not step on the dead leaves that lay beside his feet.
"Everyone's here," he heard someone say. "Let's just waste some time before we begin doing the actual practice."
That's good. Yoongi thought. If they start practising, it will be hard to grab the attention of Namjoon or Jin.
But, first things first, where the fuck are they?
He looked up again, eyes widening when it landed on the only peculiar purple-haired male in the ground.
Is that him?
He recollected the words Taehyung said when he was describing Namjoon: tall, has dimples, looks hot, has purple hair, sculpted face and sharp features which all melt when he looks at his mate or someone who he loves.
That's definitely him. He looked to the side and found another beautiful, handsome beta.
"Jin hyung has full lips, wide shoulders, beautiful face, strong behaviour, sharp piercing glare and sweet voice. He has ginger hair. You'll find him close to Namjoon hyung. They both go together wherever they go," were Taehyung's words.
Yoongi was assured that they were Namjoon and Jin.
He kept quiet for some time, wondering what to do, and watched as Namjoon pulled his phone out and attended a call.
Jin walked away from the alpha and Yoongi took this as a chance to bring Namjoon's attention to him.
Carefully, he picked up a stone and aimed it at Namjoon because he couldn't come up with any other way to grab the alpha's attention. He missed the first two shots; the stones falling straight to the ground.
But the third try was a success. The stone hit Namjoon's head, and he snapped his head right in his direction, spotting him. A deadly glare formed on his features.
Yoongi remained completely unbothered--still crouching to remain hidden--as the seething, angry alpha made his way to him.
"Who the f—"
"Lower your tone," Yoongi shut him up. "Taehyung sent me here."
Listening to his baby brother's name made Namjoon freeze. His eyes which were squinted in anger turned wide in shock. His tensed shoulders slumped down and his lips parted.
After so many months, he was hearing about Taehyung name.
Yoongi pressed his lips into a thin line before speaking up again, "He needs help. We all need help from you."
"How is he?" Namjoon asks desperately, completely ignoring what the beta said before. "Is he okay? L-last time... Is he alright now? It's been months."
His face drooped in sadness. The last time he had seen Taehyung was when the boy had been in his worst state, close to dying.
Since then, whenever any thoughts related to the dear omega crossed his mind, it left him distressed and worried.
There wasn't any way he could go meet Taehyung or even know about him.
He couldn't mind link him too as there was a certain process that needed to start a link between two werewolves; they couldn't just mind link anyone. He hadn't spent enough time with the boy to start a link.
He wondered whether he was doing fine or not. He wondered if his pain had become any lesser.
Suddenly, having a stranger come to him and tell him that Taehyung had sent him there had shocked Namjoon. He hoped everything was alright.
"Calm down," Yoongi groaned. "He's been healthier and happier than ever before. He mated with Jeon Jungkook who is his fated mate. I'm a relative of Jungkook."
Namjoon's jaw fell open, fear swimming in his dark orbs.
"Jungkook? Y-Young master?" he asks with dread. As far as he knows, Jungkook is one of the most arrogant, harsh assholes out there. Why would Taehyung mate with such a person?
Even though they are fated mates, Namjoon was sure that Jungkook can't and won't treat Taehyung properly.
It just wasn't possible considering how bad his anger issues he has been and how cold and harsh he is always. Taehyung would like someone soft and caring, someone who is the opposite of Jungkook.
Yoongi groaned, looking around to check if there is someone looking at them.
"Look, I don't have much time. We'll tell you everything; just come along with me for now."
Namjoon shook his head, denying him.
"No. How can I trust you? What if you take me to some other—"
"You're not a fucking two-year-old! I can't kidnap you. Have you seen yourself? If I could kidnap your huge and buff self, I would've done it already!"
Namjoon still looked at him with suspiciously squinted eyes.
"Look," Yoongi sighed, calming himself down. "If anyone sees you now, they'll get to know that someone is here. It will end up spoiling everything Taehyung has planned."
"They can't see you," Namjoon stated like it was something obvious, shrugging. He had no wish to believe this man who showed up from nowhere.
"I assume that you speak to walls on a daily basis," Yoongi seethed. "Probably that is why these stupid warriors will assume that you're doing your usual duty of talking to a wall right now--"
"What's going on?"
Yoongi froze when he heard the shriller, soft and soothing voice. He looked up to find Jin coming their way, confused eyes looking at his mate and him.
"Who's this?"
Yoongi heaved out an exhale. We're joined by another idiot who probably speaks to walls like his mate does.
"Taehyung sent me here," Yoongi said and received a similar type of reaction like Namjoon gave him when he revealed this information to them: a surprised and confused one.
But what he said next was rather very different than what the dumb alpha did.
"What the fuck are you doing chatting here then? Take us there!"
Both of them stared at him, bewildered. Jin ordered Yoongi to hide properly and grabbed Namjoon's hand, dragging him to the head warrior to inform him that they had to leave because of an emergency.
Okay, he's smarter. Yoongi concluded, glad that Jin didn't behave like his mate did.
He got out of there, slowly taking steps away from there while crouching so he isn't seen. He stopped walking when he was out sight—a few feet away from the mansion—and waited for the couple to arrive.
When they arrived, Yoongi guided them to a car where Hoseok waited for them to come.
Yoongi got onto the passenger seat, smiling when he received a sweet praise from Hoseok who embraced him and pecked his cheek longingly, proud that he did all the work properly.
They set off to Jungkook's house right after Jin and Namjoon got onto the back seat.
They didn't speak much as Jin was in a hurry to meet Taehyung. They only greeted and acknowledged Hoseok with an awkward smile who greeted them with a sweet and huge smile.
"I'm Yoongi. This is my mate Hoseok, Jungkook's cousin."
Namjoon shivered when he heard the trueblood's name. Just thinking about the harsh and rude man made him feel weird and concerned for his baby brother.
He clearly remembered being yelled at by Jungkook long ago for a matter which wasn't something that big. Every warrior--alpha and beta--have always seen only the harsh side of Jungkook.
He couldn't forget how scared he had been back then.
He wondered why Taehyung thought Jungkook was good.
"Did Taehyung really mate Jungkook?" Namjoon asks with worry. Jin was taken aback for a second before he shook his head in disbelief when Yoongi nodded at him.
"He looked totally whipped when he came to take Taehyung from the torture room that day. I knew this would happen," Jin stated, shrugging.
"But, Jinnie... Jungkook? You know how mean he is," Namjoon stated, eyebrows furrowed.
"He isn't," Hoseok said with a slightly stern tone but smile still present. "He is just someone you don't know."
Namjoon kept quiet. Of course, he wasn't convinced that Jungkook is a good person but decided it was better to not speak ill of the trueblood when his protective and caring cousin was around.
------------
"Hyung!" Taehyung cheered, getting up from his mate's lap and running to the door where the four men stood, just entering the house with curious eyes looking around everywhere.
Jin grinned, opening his arms and laughing when the omega's body crashed on his.
A bright, dimpled smile immediately formed on Namjoon's face as he wrapped his arms around both of them.
Hoseok laughed at that cute interaction while walking into the living room with Yoongi who just made his way to the couch and sat down with a thump, tired after the work he had done.
Jungkook looked extremely uncomfortable. He sat up straight, stiff and tense. The scents of everyone in his and Taehyung's house were all getting mixed up, and it was beginning to make him anxious.
Even though most of them were in a way related to him, except Namjoon and Jin, yet it made him feel weird to have so many people here.
His mate's scent was vanishing among the other scent and it made him rather very frustrated.
He would feel much better if he could be himself—yell and growl at everybody and show them that he is more powerful than them—but Taehyung had begged him to behave properly.
It made him immensely uncomfortable.
Having someone unknown in his personal space, his home, made him madly angry and nervous. The only reason was that he hadn't learnt to mingle with others and speak in a proper, sweet way to strangers.
Could anything else be expected from him after confining him to a place his whole childhood and beating him up when he spoke to someone?
He could hear the giggles and sweet voice of Taehyung, and that was the only thing that held him back from throwing everyone out of his house.
Taehyung's presence was the only thing that was keeping him sane.
Namjoon and Jin spoke to Taehyung in an overexcited way and had wide smiles on their face. After having a comforting conversation, they made their way to the living room with satisfied hearts as they could tell that Taehyung really was happy.
Jungkook kept his head bowed down, looking up only when he heard his mate called him.
"Jungkookie, this is Namjoon hyung and Jin hyung."
He stared, glared, at the alpha and beta out of habit. He wanted to dominate everyone he meets just to show that they couldn't do anything to hurt him.
It was all out of habit and protective instincts.
It was a habit he developed so he doesn't seem sweet to anyone. So that no one hurts him.
Namjoon shuddered at the piercing glare and bowed down to greet Jungkook but froze when Jin's hand shot up to his elbow to hold him back.
"We're not at work," Jin reminded him, voice low and dangerous as he glared back at the trueblood with a stronger intensity. "There's no need for you to bow to someone who doesn't respect elders."
Jungkook only smirked at that, concluding that the beta was way too bold to think he would show respect to them.
No way. Never.
But when his eyes landed on his omega's sad, dejected and disappointed ones, his heart stopped.
Shit. He panicked, wondering if he hurt his omega.
He shot to his feet and did a ninety-degree bow at Jin and Namjoon. The beta smirked, nudging Namjoon--trying to show what he meant when he said whipped--while Namjoon just stood, jaw fallen in shock.
Taehyung's eyes lightened up, and he laughed, making his way to Jungkook and bringing him to his embrace.
"Thank you," he whispered and Jungkook heaved out an exhale of relief.
Jungkook continued to hold him and sat back down, pulling the omega to his lap. He was sure that if Taehyung left him now, he would go mad.
The wrong need to dominate over everyone and show them that their worth was lesser than he could only be controlled if Taehyung stayed close to him.
"See," Jin chuckled lowly, leaning in to whisper something into Namjoon's ears. "I told you, he is whipped for him."
Namjoon nodded, jaw still open as the scene in front of him was something so unbelievable.
"Okay!" Jimin yelled before Jungkook and Taehyung start kissing each other.
He's been sitting there for so long—when Yoongi and Hoseok had been away—trying to avoid seeing them kiss. No amount of yelling would make them stop, and it had been so annoying.
He has had enough of this bullshit.
"Get to the point," Jimin said, looking at Taehyung. "Tell them what you have to."
Taehyung nodded, getting serious. He got off Jungkook's lap and sat down beside them, focusing on Namjoon and Jin.
He told them their plan of getting the omegas out of the mansion, making them lose their virginity, and then bringing them back to the mansion so Jungho doesn't realise that something has changed in the omegas.
He asks them whether Jungho had any backup plan for the new year in case anything happen to the omegas or something.
Jin kept a stoic face, deciding to let Namjoon talk for now.
"He doesn't," Namjoon said. "They were in a huge crisis as many omegas were losing their lives. They managed to keep twenty of them alive while the rest of the omegas in the pack were killed. Omegas as a backup... I don't think there would be many."
Taehyung's eyes lighten up. A bright smile forms on his face as he looked around to study the reaction of the others.
Hoseok and Yoongi seemed happy. Jungkook and Jimin were a little hesitant, but Taehyung knew he could convince them into believing that everything would turn out well.
"That's good news! It's a now or never chance that we have, and we need to take advantage of this!"
"But--"
Taehyung cut Jungkook off by saying, "We can't hold ourselves back now, Kookie! We need to do something."
Jungkook shook his head and looked away.
"My priority is you, Taehyung." Jimin nodded at Jungkook's words, looking up at Taehyung and adding, "Yeah, we don't want you hurt."
"Letting a stupid, sick bastard roam around freely is even more dangerous than anything else," Taehyung stated.
"But we're going to the new year's party. If our plan backfires and Jungho gets to know about our secret, what would you do? What if he hurts you?"
"If I die like this, I'll die a better death than any--"
"Taehyung!" Jungkook whisper yelled, cutting him off. He can't let anything happen to Taehyung. What his mate was saying was making him shudder in fear.
"No, listen, Jungkook. Just because you are insecure and scared, we can't lose such a good opportunity."
"Taehyung, you're only saying this because you know Jungho wouldn't do anything to me," Jungkook said calmly, eyes looking at him pointedly. "If there was a risk to my life..."
Taehyung looked in front, not liking what Jungkook was trying to say because he knew it was true.
He wouldn't take any risk if there was any danger to Jungkook's or Jimin's life but the demon wolf had nothing to do with Jimin while he couldn't hurt the trueblood because he needed his powers.
He stood up, smiling at Namjoon and Jin.
"We're gonna need your help to execute whatever I'm planning. Give me your phone number, hyung, so I can call you and let you know what exactly you're supposed to do."
Jungkook jaw fell open and he looked at the back of his omega's head with disbelief.
Taehyung guided Yoongi, Hoseok, Namjoon and Jin to the door, bidding them goodbye by giving them a warm hug.
He came back inside, looking at his friend and his mate with determination.
They had a long chat. Taehyung placed facts in front of them, and whenever he opened his mouth, the elders were left speechless.
Trying to protest wasn't of any use now.
That's how, the protective friend and the mate of his agreed to do whatever he said with the only condition being that he wouldn't put his life in danger, no matter what the reason is.
When the whipped males finally agreed to everything he says, he yelled out in bliss and tackled them to a hug.
He was more excited than ever before because he knew that nothing, absolutely nothing could save Jungho's life now.
