What's wrong with me

I asked my self

"Fawzan is the school head boy"Chi Chi said

"That's nice"I barely say

"What's wrong with you?"she asked because she could notice the difference in my tone

"I don't know either but I'm fine, don't be bothered"I replied

The assembly was conducted by the school head boy and head girl and we all went to our class,I met Jafar in the same position,I felt bad, something must be wrong with him and it was like I was going through same pain

I look at my time table and saw we have Biology has the first period

A short round woman entered the class and I was sure she must be the Biology teacher,she smiles a lot and I liked her

"Greetings students"she said

"Greetings Mrs Williams"the student replied

"We will be treating Genetics this morning,any objections?"she asked

"Non ma"we all replied

Jafar sat straight and kept his phone in his pocket,I saw the apple at the back of the phone

He is using an iPhone

He must be from a wealthy family

He brought out his note as I did same

......

It was break time and I was so tired,some of my mates were out of the class,maybe heading to the school vendor,I brought out my fries

"Madam fries"Samimah said as she stood beside my desk,Jafar lift up his head and look at her,she said hi and he barely smiled

"Madam school vendor,let me eat in peace"I replied and she smiled

"I was actually here to ask you to join us,we are going to the food vendor"I tilted my head and saw Fawwaz, Blessing and Mercy standing at my side

Haven taken my  time and look into Fawwaz features,I noticed their differences,Fawzan is much more handsome and taller,i can't wait to see the third one Fawzy

"I'm sorry guys, I'm eating,we will hangout next time"I pleaded

"Well it's okay,we will talk later"Fawwaz said and they left

I ate my fries and waited for Chi Chi but no where to be found

I looked at Jafar but he was extra quiet which makes me uncomfortable,he stood up and left the class

I wanted to ask him what is wrong with him as a good seatmate

I followed him and he stopped in a quiet part of the school,he punched the wall and screamed

I was afraid and wanted to turn back but gathered up the courage and went ahead to ask him what's wrong with him

"Jafar"I said quietly

"What are you doing here?"he said in his husky voice

"It's seems like something is bothering you and being a nice person I decided to ask you a problem  said is a problem half solved"I said in one breath

"Did I asked for your care,did I gave you the permission to come close to me,did I ! Did I!,sitting beside me is it not enough of a trouble"he yelled at me and I could not move

"I'm sorry"I whispered with tears clouding my eyes,I bent my head to avoid him seeing those tears

"Don't ever meddle in my affairs again and get lost"he said with a final tone

I walked quietly from him,I couldn't go back to the class,so I decided to walk round the school on my own

I stopped at a beautiful garden with fresh and different air from the rest part I had been

I rested my head on knees and cried my eyes out,I wasn't the kind of person that poke nose but I wasn't feeling comfortable seeing Jafar sad, it's look like I was bonded with him to share his pain though we barely knew each other and his words cuts more than a sword,pains more than injuries

I stood up and wiped away the tears ready to go back to my class,I saw Fawzan sitting on the ground with his eyes closed, tears falling from his eyes

What's wrong with these boys

I walk silently and I heard him say

"I'm sorry"

I thought he wasn't talking to me

"I'm sorry"he repeated again, I stopped and looked at him,his eyes were still closed

I resumed my walk and he said again

"Please stop"I halted without turning back,he stood up and walk towards me

"What's it"I asked,I could feel my hairs standing erect

"I'm sorry about what happened yesterday,you just showed up at the wrong time, I'm sorry"he said

"Since yesterday you just realize your mistake"I said

"I didn't have the chance to say sorry,I am doing it now"

"Well,I don't keep grudges"

"Are you saying that we are cool?"

"Yeah,we are cool"

"Thank you"he said and I nodded in approval

I went back to the class and Jafar was no where to be found,after what happened I am not going to sit on that seat again,I went to meet Samimah

"Can I sit with you?"I asked

"Why,are you missing me already?"she said smirking foolishly and I rolled my eyes

"Can I"I pleaded

"Yeah"I sat down"are you having issues with Jafar?"

I wasn't able to reply her question when the next subject teacher which is physics entered the class

"Good morning students"the pot bellied man said

"Morning Mr Chuks"the student replied

"Today's topic is Wave"he wrote the topic on the board"who can tell me some of the things we did last term before we go into today's topic"every where was dead silent and the man waited patiently for five minutes without any replies from students

"Are you telling me you forgot everything we did last terms due to the long holiday"silence"you guys are not serious at all,is this how you are going to behave till your WAEC exam"silence"answer you morons

Jafar and Fawzan entered the class at once from different directions

Bad timing

Fawzan's hands were inside his trousers pocket from each side,he was walking majestically as if he was the owner of the school while Jafar face was so strong like someone going to lead a battle with one of his hand on his left pocket

"Are you just coming to the class"Angry pot bellied physics teacher said

"Sorry sir"they said in unison

"Sorry! Sorry! Can your sorry save you from me?"the man angrily spatted but they remain quiet

"You can go to your seats"the man finally said after a while and they went to their various seats

No thank you sir, arrogant students

The man continued his teaching and i came to a conclusion that he is the most annoying teacher I had ever met in a while

.....

It was another break before prep,I went to the food vendor,I bought pure Bliss and Nutri milk,ready to answer the call of my stomach when someone called my name

"Milah,Milah"it was no other person but Chi Chi,I was so angry with her

"Don't call my name o"I said slightly annoyed

"Haba na,I am not asking you to cut for me"she said smiling devilishly

"You know what you did wrong"

"I'm sorry,I have class presentation next week,so Mrs Dave our government teacher needed me during the break"she explained

"Well, it's okay,so how is the preparation?"I asked

"Fine,so...where are you heading to?"she asked

"No where in particular"I replied opening the cover of my drink

"Let's walk around"

"Ok"we walk for a minute and decided to break the silence

"Fawzan apologize to me"Chi Chi almost fell down when I said this

"Seriously?"she was extremely shocked

"Yeah,I told him we are cool but there is something wrong"

"What's wrong?"she halted and look straight into my eyes

"I don't actually know what's wrong with me, anytime Fawzan is close to me or we have eye contact,the hairs in my body stand erect and I feel like something magnetic pulling me closer to him"I confessed

"Should I tell you a secret?"She asked

"Yes,go ahead"Chi Chi removed her glasses and handed it over to me,she brought out her phone and played Nicki Minaj song Beez in the trap,she handed over the phone to me and I was like what's wrong with her

She started trekking and rapping the song,I fell down laughing

"So,what I got to tell you is that,Fawzan has effect on you and can easily lure you into his bed"she said in a seductive and bitchy tone

I laughed and laughed"please wear your glasses,this bitchy side of yours doesn't fit you at all"she chuckled,wore her glasses and stopped the music

"I'm not actually a nerd, I'm bitchy but I love acting like a nerd,both in school,at home and in the church,hope my secret is safe with you"Chi chi said

"Cross my heart"

"Back to business,you need to be extra careful,Fawzan has a lot of effect on you and he doesn't need to know"

"Sure,I will keep this to my self and pray to get normal around him"

The bell was rung and it was time for prep

"We will see later"Chi Chi said

We waved each other good bye and went to our respective classes
