Jaffar was gentleman enough to drop me at my house,he stopped the car at the gate while I get down and waved him goodbye,I knocked at the door and the gate man opened it for me with a short exchange of greetings

I went inside the house and thank God no one was at the sitting room,I went to my room and dropped my school bag

"Well well well well well"Samimah said clapping her hands and I rolled my eyes

"What's the meaning of this one"I said removing my uniform

"You are so lucky mom went to the hospital for check up and dad went with her,if not you would have been here explaining where you have been sneaking from the school to"she spatted and I was slightly Annoyed

"I wasn't sneaking out,I was just setting some things right"I said loudly than I expected all thanks to my sudden bubbles of anger growing inside me

"Setting what right Jamilah,you must be going out with a guy and maybe....who knows"she said raising her hands up and then the anger burst in

"You are of no innocent Samimah"I snapped

"What?"her eyes hold an horror look and I went to the wardrobe to change my uniform

"Just repeat what you said just now"Samimah said with so much anger

"As you heard before you are of no innocent,do you think I don't know you have been sneaking around with Charles,that dick of a guy"I said wearing a blue looses top

"Say that again and I will slap you"she was glaring at me and I was shocked

"You don't mean it"I placed my hands on my hips

"I mean every bit of it,no one should ever try to say rude remark about him even if you are a family because it's unforgivable"she said

"Woah woah woah,so you become obsessive about a random guy who just see you for your body"I was disappointed

"Watch your mouth Jamilah,I am your elder and don't try to forget you live in my house"she snapped

"Oh my God,that hurts and you should know I'm not a bigger I have my family too,it was your father that forcefully dragged me here for God knows what fucking reason"I yelled while tears falls on their own,I scooted out of the room to cry my eyes out

It was 7:17pm when I felt a little bit okay after the little fight I had with Samimah,I went to kitchen and took my food,I walked to the sitting room switching on the television while I munch on the food and the door suddenly opened,Mom and Dad were back and I stood up and helped them with the bag Dad hang on his shoulder,I followed them to the room

"Where is Samimah?"Mom asked faintly

"In her room"I still despise her over what she said earlier

"Let her know we are back"my dad said and I nodded going to the room,I opened the door slightly

"They are back"I close the door shut not waiting for her reply

I went back to their room and shortly after Samimah joined me

"How are you feeling now mom"she asked kneeling beside the bed to touch her hand

"I'm fine"she replied faintly while I stood awkward

"Have you eaten?"her mom asked her and she nodded no

"Let me prepare something for us,what do you want to eat mom?"I offered But she didn't reply acting like she didn't hear me

"Mummy,what do you want to eat?"Samimah repeat my question

"Anything dear"she said

"Dad,we will prepare you something to eat,you can stay with her"I said leaving the room and Samimah followed suit

We went to the kitchen,she stood at the island and decided to say my mind

"Samimah"I said queitly

"What?"she flared

"I just want to let you know what you said earlier hurts me,it gives me a deep cut,it hurt to know you take me as a visitor in this house,I thought we were family I thought we were friends,I was only looking out for you because Charles is not good for you"I said with a glossy eyes

"Charles has changed Jamilah,he has,he promised me to always love me I never asked for your looking out"she said angrily

"You don't know,you are not sure,deep down you know that's not the truth,he is trying to use you, don't be a victim please,I beg of you"I'm really sad

"I love him Milah and I am going to trust him"she snapped

"Don't be obsessive,just try and understand me"I sigh

"I'm not understanding anything,just leave me alone and just know I despise you, I thought you were a sister enough to understand me and my feelings but you don't"she was at the edge of tears

"I'm sorry Mimah but you should know I'm looking out for you"

"Stop it already"she yelled and I flinched"I can't be in the same pace with you,you are suffocating me"she stepped out of the kitchen stomping her foots on the ground

I sigh and kneel down,I slowly sat down on the floor and felt my tears wetting my shirt,I never knew I was crying,I don't know why she won't understand or get the logic,maybe that's how love make someone do and I don't ever want to be like that

I stood up after gaining self courage,I brought out the yam and decided to boil yam and fry egg

It was another morning but not a beautiful one,the previous day I went to the room to sleep in the bed with Samimah she sternly warns me to stay away from her,since it was her room I decided to sleep in the living room

It was tiring,I couldn't stretch my body nor did I feel comfortable on the couch,but I need to manage with the excessive cold

I stand up and took the blanket to the room,I was happy that dad didn't see me at the couch,I met her snowing lightly,I ignored her and went straight to the bathroom and had my bath,I wore my uniform and went to Mom's room

"Good morning Mom"she didn't answer,I waited for another ten minutes before greeting her again

"I'm greeting you mom"

"Would you stop disturbing me or you want my head to hurt,what kind of evil child are you,bastard"she spatted and I was about to cry

I didn't want to cry at her presence and I went to the back of the house and cry my balls out

She called me a bastard,she dare calls me a bastard when all I ever wanted was for us to be like a real nuclear family

I couldn't think right and took my phone out of my pocket and dialled my mom's number

"I miss you mom"I say with a cracking voice as soon as she took the call

"Jamilah!"she exclaimed"what's wrong with you?"she was full of worries

"I miss you mom"I started crying again

"Talk to me my dear,what happened,stop keeping quiet and talk to me!"I was sure as hell she is freaking out

I couldn't muster the courage to talk anymore,I ended the call  burying my head between my legs,I another call started and I thought it was my mom,I ignored it before it started irritating me

I took the phone angrily and saw Zan on the screen,I picked it

"Hello dear"his voice was calm

"Fawzan!"I said as if I was dying to see him

"What's wrong with you,talk to me"he sound worried

"I just want to disappear"I said hiccuping

"Don't try anything stupid,I repeat don't try anything,where the fuck are you?"he shouted from the other side he sounds terrified

"At home"I hiccuped

"Just turn on your GPS,I will come and get you"he said and the phone call ended

I stood up,and wiped my face went straight to the house,I met my dad sitting on the chair

"I will be going to school"I said and turned around

"You should wait I will take you there"he said trying to stand up

"Don't bother,I have my ways"my grip on my bag tightened more and I walked out of the house,I was so angry

How dare her call me bastard

I went outside of the fencing and soon enough,a car parked at my front and I entered,thank God it was tinted

"What happened?"Fawzan asked with a worried expression

"It's a long story"I said feeling soreness of my eyes

"It's okay,we will talk about it when you are ready"he leans forward and kissed my forehead

I felt a lot of weight lifted off my shoulders and my head feels less ached

I relaxed resting my head on the seat and closed my eyes

We remained quiet throughout the ride to the school but it was not awkward

I stepped down from the car and saw Chi Chi running towards me

"We will talk later"Fawzan said and I nodded

"What's wrong with you?"Chi Chi said after assessing me

"It's a long story Chi Chi"

"I have a good listening ear"she said and I nodded,we went to a secluded area and we sat down

"Tell me what happened?"she said calmly

"I confronted Samimah about Charles issue,they are an item Chi Chi and the worst is that Samimah is so obsessive about him,she trusted him a lot and her ears has turn deaf"

"Don't tell me"Chi Chi was surprised

"The worst part is she said she can't stay in the same room with me that she will end up suffocating,I ended up sleeping in the couch"

"Wow!"Chi Chi was beyond shocked

"Her mom added hers too,she called me a bastard Chi Chi just because I tried to greet her this morning,I don't know why everyone hates me in that house except my dad when all I ever wanted was the best for them"I was only sobbing,I have cried a lot and no tears is ready to spill out anymore

"It's okay Milah, it's just a phrase of time,time will come things will be better and all this will be history"
