"Your what?" I asked Aurelio incredulously. The room suddenly got hot and I broke a sweat. I assumed the Demon King had something to do with it. Our environment changed and I found myself in a different room away from Chinvat. A gold king size bed laid in the middle of the room and two large fireplaces were on each side of the room. Instead of an auburn color, the flame burned a bright blue which gave the room a bluish tint.

"Be. Mine..." Aurelio said slowly. "For one night."

I giggled. "Oh honey, that's what dating apps are for. You're talking to the wrong girl." I said crossing my arms. "I thought they'd already had one in hell."

I was taunting the demon king and I was loving it. His complexion was tinged with red and his eyes held fury and a hint of attraction. I wondered whether his anger or his attraction was towards me.

"Don't you have some side hoes though? And who says I'm still a virgin?" I jeered. Aurelio's expression didn't change. Instead, he tilted his head and smiled at me knowingly.

"You did, love," he uttered softly. He pulled me closer to him which took me off guard. His other hand snaked around my lower back, pressing my upper half to his.

"W-what are you doing?" I stuttered. My cheeks were heating up with discomfort. Aurelio lowered his head to my ear. "Your body language says enough what you still are; a virgin." he snickered. He smelled like mint and pine that I wanted to submerge myself in his scent.

I woke up from my daze and tried pulling away and squirming away from him but his grip around my waist and now my chin was tight and I knew it would leave a bruise.

"You shouldn't piss me off while I'm being nice and accommodating, Celeste." he scolded me as if I were some child.

I couldn't help it, I let out a loud unattractive cackle. "This is you being 'nice and accommodating'?" I pointed out to him. "Humans call this 'abuse', demon." I spat out.

"In the demon world, this is how we show our affection." he tilted his head confused. Aurelio's features were strikingly similar to Daemon's and my heart dropped when I remembered him making the similar expression Aurelio has now. He looked genuinely confused as if he was a child that didn't know that his actions were bad and needed to be punished. I used this moment to pull away from him.

He sighed and allowed me to pull away from him. "I'll give you one day to consider my offer. I will summon you when the time's up."

I rolled my eyes wondering to myself why this demon would even have the slightest interest in sleeping with me when he never showed any "attraction" to me until now. I admit that my body was reacting to his rough touch in a way I didn't want it to. My mind was saying no but my body is a cliché; I wanted Aurelio so badly.

"I'll be waiting for your decision, Celeste." Aurelio spoke up, breaking me out of my thoughts. My vision blurred and focused again. I wasn't in the demon king's bedroom anymore, I was in Chinvat. Aurelio was nowhere to be found, I was all alone. A door behind me opened and all I saw was a bright light blinding me jolting me awake on Earth.

A hard shove rippled through my upper limb and I opened my eyes again. Angelo was shaking me to wake up. Worry plastered all over his beautiful features and he turned around to tend to the body laying on the floor motionless. Black curly hair spilled on the floor, followed by someone's strong squared jaw and long dark lashes.

Danny lay on the floor without moving and I scrambled to the floor. I began to panic and tried to shake him awake. "Danny, wake up!" I screamed. He's not dead, I told myself. He can't be dead.

"We have to take him to the hospital, Celeste." Brittany said dialing the ambulance. Angelo pushed me to the side gently and began CPR.

"He had a heart attack."
