Neil Khanna a decent man who is a successful businessman and is way much good looking with well maintained attitude and personality. He have everything that a girl looks for in her soulmate, from looks to nature but he loves only one girl who is different from rest of the girls. Well that's what people says, for him his wife Avni is the most special person and he loves her whole heartedly.

In evening, Neil was going to his flat with a gift in his hands for his lovely wifey. Well, he didn't live with his family as they were against his and Avni's marriage.

He opened the door and found that maid was heating milk for their daughter Aahana. He smiles and opens the bed room door. There he found his lifeline, his wifey sitting on the bed with Aahana sleeping in her lap. She was telling sweet nothings to her baby. Neil's heart pierced after watching this scene but he went inside and sat beside Avni. Avni was so engrossed in her daughter that she didn't noticed Neil. Neil caress her head gently and she looks up with a sad pout lingering on her face.

Seeing Neil her lips curved into a beautiful smile that was enough to take his breath away but within few minutes she again became sad. Neil was concerned for her as he can't see her in sadness.

Neil - What happened to my wifey ? ( softly ).

Avni - See na Neil, Aahana is crying continuously. ( tears filled in her eyes ).

Even Neil was having tears of sorrow in his eyes but he blinks back his tears.

Neil - Aahana is fine Avni. She is a small baby that's why she cry sometimes. ( softly ).

Avni - But she is crying since so many hours Neil. ( teary eyes ).

Some tears rolled down at her cheeks and Neil can't see tears in her eyes. Neil wipes her tears and kisses her forehead lovingly.

Neil - I think Aahana was missing her father that's why she was crying. You know, I brought new dresses for Aahana. Now she will stop crying. ( smiles ).

Avni - Really ? ( smiles )

Neil - Yes, let me hold my daughter first.

Avni smiles and gives the doll that she was holding since so many hours to Neil. Well, Aahana is not a baby girl, she is a doll and Avni considers her as their daughter.

Neil holds Aahana gently as if he will break her if he will apply even a bit of force.

Neil - ( cutely ) Why my baby girl is crying ? See your mumma is so sad. You are dad's brave princess. Right ? ( his eyes filled with tears but he didn't show his emotions to Avni ). You know Aahana, I brought a gift for you. See these dresses.

Avni smiles and claps in excitement.

Neil - See Avni Aahana is smiling. ( smiles ). She liked the gift.

Avni - Yes Neil, she is smiling. You are the best papa in this world. ( joyful ).

Neil smiles and positioned Aahana on the bed.

Neil - Aahana needs to sleep as it's getting late.

Avni - Before that, she have to drink milk.

Neil - Okay, I will bring milk for her.

He went outside and bring the milk that maid had already heated and filled in Aahana's feeder.

Neil - Here is her milk.

Avni - Let me feed her. ( excitedly ).

Neil - Not fair wifey, you always feed her. ( pouts ) let me do it today.

Avni giggles.

Avni - Okay. ( smiles ).

Neil - I will feed her milk till then can you please decorate my dinner plate just the way you did yesterday.

Avni - You liked it ? ( excitedly )

Neil - I loved it. ( smiles )

Avni - Okay, I will do it for you till then you made her drink this milk.

Neil - Okay wifey. ( smiles )

Avni runs outside. Neil burst into tears after she left but he somehow composed himself.

Neil knew very well if Aahana won't drink milk then Avni will cry and its not good for her mental condition. He changes his clothes and freshens up as he knew that Avni will take time in decorating his plate with salad and other stuff. He comes out of the washroom and drinks the milk kept in feeder. He kept Avni's doll on the bed and closed her eyes. He covered the doll with a duvet. Avni comes inside with a goofy smile and saw that her daughter Aahana was sleeping while Neil was caressing her forehead.

Avni - She slept.

Neil - Yes, and she finished her milk as well. ( points towards empty feeder ).

Avni - That's good. ( claps her hands happily ).

Neil - Come let's eat food. I am very hungry.

They both sat on dinning table and Neil smiles when he saw a decorated dinner plate infront of him.

Avni - How is it Neilu ? ( smiles ).

Neil - Beautiful, but...

Avni - But... ( sad pout ).

Neil - My wifey is more beautiful. ( smiles ).

Avni smiles.

Avni - Yay !!

Neil made her eat food with his hands and then ate himself, all this while she was talking about Aahana and her day and Neil was listening to her talks keenly and was smiling at her innocence. After dinner he made her have her medicines but she always throws tantrums when it comes to medicines but one sad look on Neil's face and she gets ready to swallow those bitter tablets.

Neil made her wear her night dress. He always performs her daily chores without any hesitation from brushing her teeth to give her bath, helping her in wearing her clothes to making her hairs. Everything is done by Neil and if you will look into his eyes when he performs every single work related to her you will see pure love and care for her nothing else.

After that he was giving her head massage lovingly.

Avni - This oil is so sticky Neilu. ( pouts ). My hairs become sticky.

Neil - Tomorrow I will wash your hairs then it won't feel sticky.

Avni - You know Aahana will have amazing hairs when she will grow up.

Neil - Yes, she will have. You know why ?

Avni - Why ?

Neil - Because her mother have beautiful hairs.

Avni - Yay !! ( excitedly ).

Neil - Sleeping time now. Come.

Avni - So early. ( pouts ).

Neil - Yes. Aahana have slept now so we should also sleep na.

Avni - Yeah !! You are right. ( smiles ).

Neil keep her head in his lap and pats het forehead gently. Soon, Avni drifts into sleep. Now Neil wasn't able to control anymore and burst into tears. He cried for hours after seeing the condition of his childhood love.

He remembers how much pain she have undergone in her life.

Avni and Neil were best friends since childhood. Neil always loved her, she was also having feelings for him but wasn't able to understand her emotions.

After completing their school, Neil went to London for completing his higher studies, avneil were in contact with each other but slowly slowly their contact broke and both got busy in their own lives still Neil's love for Avni never changed. He came back India after 7 years and found that Avni was in mental hospital.

When Neil asked her family about this, they told him that she suffered an abusive relationship. Her family got her married to a rich businessman  and Avni married to the person for her family's happiness. Though she never wanted to marry him as she wanted Neil to be beside her during this phase of her life but they forced her and got to know later that his family was quite orthodox and they used to harass her mentally. When Avni spoke about this to her family, her family again convinced her to stay with her inlaws. Avni was breaking from inside and was suffering the worst phase of her life and after few months of their marriage she got to know that she is pregnant. Avni was again tortured mentally by her inlaws during her pregnancy. She wasn't able to take it anymore so she filed a divorce case. Avni's family was against her but she was stubborn. Finally when she won the case, her family said alot of bad words to her and she wasn't able to bare her own family accusing her. She was left alone, there was noone beside her and one day she suffered a miscarriage and this was the limit for Avni.

She lost her mental balance, she formed her own world in which she lived with her baby girl Aahana. She was admitted in mental hospital. After watching her condition her family realised that they committed a grave mistake and all family members were feeling guilty but it was too late.

When Neil got to know this, he rushed to mental hospital and found her in the most broken form. In that condition also, Avni somehow recognised Neil and this gave him hope that someday she will get fine. Neil brought her in his home but his family wasn't much happy with the same. After spending much time with her, he decided to marry her so that noone can take her away from him but his family was against his decision and started abusing Avni which was intolerable for Neil. So he left his family and married Avni, it was a court marriage and he started living his life with his childhood sweetheart.

Gaining her trust was the most difficult task but he did it with his genuine nature. Now they share very close relationship, still seeing her in this condition breaks him. Her treatment is going on and she have improved alot but they have to go a long way.

Neil was caressing Avni's head and placed a kiss on her forehead gently.

He still remember how she held his hand in mental hospital when he visited her after 7 years. Her messy hairs, pale look still comes infront of his eyes. She remembered his touch when she was not into her senses that was the essence of their relation.

He remembers how she let him touch her doll Aahana as she never gives her doll to anyone.

She always makes him feel good. Her happiness means his happiness, her sadness means his sorrows. He always craves for her smile. She always completes him and he always protects her in his cocoon.

Neil admires the sleeping Avni.

Neil - You are enough for me. ( kisses her cheek ).

They both are enough for each other cos they felt each other in that stage where noone had courage to stand.
