A sincere advice to everyone: If you want to truly lose yourself in something, let it be service. Service to your Creator in prayer, and service to the people, your family first, in charity. There is nothing that softens the heart and brings tranquility to the soul than exerting yourself physically to uplift others. Away from the shallowness of the material world and all it's noise, that's where you find fulfillment.

The only words you use in prayer are praise, and the only words you use in service are healing. That's what you want to meet Allah with on the day of judgment.
