☆FEELING LOW☆
Do you ever get that feeling that you're in a bad mood and don't exactly know why? Your heart just feel uneasy? You are randomly grumpy? We've all have felt this.
When the prophet felt this unease, he asked for forgiveness.
Prophet Muhammad says: "Sometimes I perceive a veil over my heart, and I ask Allah for forgiveness a hundred times a day."
When our stomach growls, we know that we are hungry. When our throat is dry, we know that we are thirsty. This 'veil' over our heart is what it feels for the soul to be hungry and thirsty.
When you feel this, know that Allah misses hearing your voice. Allah misses that you ask for his forgiveness so that he can forgive you.
Satan strives to make us feel like we are not worthy of Allah's forgiveness. Satan wants us to feel like our sins are greater than Allah's mercy. No sin is too great for Allah, the most forgiving, the most merciful.
For us to qualify for His forgiveness, we need to ask for forgiveness. And for us to ask for forgiveness, we need to have committed sin.
"Every son of Adam is a sinner, and the best of sinners are those who repent"
Adam sinned by eating from the forbidden tree and Satan sinned when he refused to bow down to Adam. The difference is that Adam asked for forgiveness, and Satan did not. Had Satan asked for forgiveness, he would would have been forgiven.
We may have messed up, reached an all time low, done things that we aren't proud of, but never despair in Allah's ability to forgive.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) says: “The Lord descends every night to the lowest heaven when one-third of the night remains and says: ‘Who will call upon Me, that I may answer Him? Who will ask of Me, that I may give him? Who will seek My forgiveness, that I may forgive him?’”
There is no better time than right now.
