"Allah never forgets. Know that your whispered du’a with your moist tongue was never wasted. The du’a you made as rain poured throughout the day was never wasted. The du’a you uttered with tears streaming down your cheeks and raised palms wide open facing the sky during the third of the night. No my dear, it was never wasted. The du’a you consciously and unconsciously repeated from the depths of your heart till it became a habit, it wasn’t wasted. The times you prolonged your sujood and you supplicated, know that it wasn’t wasted. Or the time you traveled far distance and called upon your Lord as you were above the clouds, it wasn’t wasted.

As you spent many years asking and begging and doing it all over again, know that it wasn’t wasted. Every moment you supplicate understand and firmly believe that Allah heard every word and He saw every tear. Perhaps He is saving something for you that is far better than what you asked or expected. How amazing is it knowing that Allah chooses the way He answers our du’as, His decision is always in our favor."
