{Yusei's PoV}

With a annoyed groan I opened my eyes and yawned. The sun was shining through the window and right into my face. Guess I forgot to close the blinds last night... again. I groaned again and rubbed my eyes. With a quick look at the alarm on my nightstand I noticed that it's only 7:30 am. Well since it's summer the sun rises pretty early... I tried to sit up, but something was keeping me down. So I lifted the blanket and couldn't help but smile when I saw Jaden pretty much clinging to my body, burying his face in my chest. He was still sound asleep, but he looked really tired. Probably still exhausted from last night... and I still feel sorry for making him feel like I don't want him... I never meant to hurt him... I care about him far too much for that... and I swear I'll try my best to never make him feel like that again.

I stroked over his head and smiled softly, feeling how he started to purr in his sleep. My cute Neko... who could ever resist such an adorable being? But I still have stuff I need to do... So I wiggled my way out of his grasp as carefully as possible and replaced my body with a pillow. He immediately hugged tightly and purred a little louder. It will keep him asleep for now, at least I hope so. I tip toed out of the bedroom and slowly closed the door behind me. First thing I did was make me a nice, hot coffee. After I had my delicious addicting drink I turned on my computer and quickly finished the last few assignments I had to do as well as start the ones for today. As usual I quickly got lost in my work and therefore lost track of time.

After what felt like only minutes to me I felt something tug at the sleeve of my shirt. I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at Jaden. He had his ears slightly pinned back and the pillow still pressed against his chest. And he still looked extremely tired. "Hey Jaden. Why are you already up? You can sleep a little longer." "I can't sleep... and it's 11 am..." I glanced at the clock on the wall and frowned. "Oh... I didn't notice that..." Jaden looked up at me. "Did you eat breakfast?" "Uh... I had a coffee?" His ears pinned back even more while he was still holding on to my sleeve. "You need to eat. Please... And I-I can't reach the shelve with my food..."

I sighed and looked back at my Computer. "I'm not really hungry Jaden..." He whimpered and pulled more on my sleeve. "Please... you have to eat something." I looked back at him, only to see him looking at me with sad eyes. He was obviously nervous about asking me to leave my workspace. I sighed and quickly saved all my files before turning my computer off. "Alright. Let's eat something." Jaden immediately smiled and pulled me out of my office. I couldn't help but chuckle at his cute behavior. I did allow him to pull me away from work every once in a while...

Once we reached the kitchen I pulled one of the many different containers with Jaden's food from the shelve and placed it on the counter. While Jaden happily prepared his plate I made a quick breakfast for myself. Nothing big, just toast and marmalade, since I'm in the mood for something sweet. I carried both our plates to the table, Jaden happily following me while still holding that pillow. I just chuckled and sat down, waiting for him to climb in his chair as well. "It's good to see you this happy..." He tilted his head a bit in confusion. "After seeing you cry like that yesterday..." "Oh..." He looks down a little, realizing what he did yesterday. "I'm sorry if..." "No. Don't."

Jaden looks up at me suprised, his ears pinned back again, as if he's expecting me to yell at him. I smiled softly and gently caressed his cheek. "It's okay... you don't have to apologize for anything. Being scared of something is okay. And that you don't want to be alone and are worried about me is also okay... just like I'm worried about you..." Jaden started to tear up and leaned into my touch. I smiled and kept my hand on his cheek. "I-I don't deserve this..." "Don't say that... you deserve this more than anyone else... after everything you went through..." "Thank you..." I leaned over and gently kissed his forehead, successfully making him blush in embarrassment. "You're welcome, my little Neko..."

A short chapter... but at least it's something. I had no idea how to start to morning T-T
