okay i know this is so random because i'll be talking about kpop songs (just mamamoo in entirety-) but hey i have some song reccomendations 😳😳

i personally really love their songs. other than having really good melodies, the lyrics are relatable and involve life problems! really good to listen to, especially when you're needing motivation and things like that. choreo and vocals are *chef's kiss* so in case you need something to sing, dance, or simply to jam to, i gotchu fam

first, i'll go with the solo songs.

Solar (Yongsun) made her solo debut on April 23, with Spit It Out. unfortunately the MV doesn't have subtitles so i'll just put a lyric video here.
i really love how Mamamoo constantly remind us to be ourselves. yes, this song tells us that we don't need to listen to everyone, and you can be confident to be yourself.

Selfish - MoonByul (Ft. Seulgi). this song explains about struggles of fitting in, and fulfilling other's expectations.

after that we have In My Room - MoonByul, Byul's solo debut. it's talking about cutting ties, having a heartbreak (?), feeling empty and emotionless. i love it sm.

this February, MoonByul made a comeback called Eclipse. my personal favorite. other than the dance being literal fire, this song is a form of gratitude from Byul to her fans. Byul thanked Moomoos who taught her kindness and brought her light, which is why she wanted to be the light that shines for us.

if you're into boybands then you probably would like this 😳

most of you probably have known this song, it was a huge bomb. Maria - HwaSa (Hyejin). and again, this song taught us that we're beautiful in our own way. "Don't torture yourself. Why are you suffering? You're already beautiful."

Then we have Easy - WheeIn (ft. sik-k). it tells about a relationship where one is obsessive over the other, creating an unhealthy relationship.

then we have Goodbye - WheeIn. damn i've only heard it once and i got emotional-

this talks about the feeling of emptiness, and cutting ties before everything goes worse. i'm sorry but the vocals just makes me cry harder i can't-

moving on the group songs, goes Wind flower - MAMAMOO. this song really hits me hard tbh- because it talks about recovering after a sad goodbye. and i really love this song, this song teaches us that we would "Get better day by day", not directly recover and plot on revenge like some other songs.

then there goes MAMAMOO - gogobebe! this song is bop doe 😳 it basically teaches us that it's okay to not be fine, and do what makes you happy.

oh god, then there goes this legendary song, MAMAMOO - Hip! the song that led me into the fandom 😌 it teaches you that you don't need to fit in, and you can be yourself. you respect people's opinions on you, but you decide on what you do. my favorite line here is "Thanks to you, my mental is stronger, I'm off to make the next album"
