Sadie's POV

At the Starbucks cafe, where she works...

"Can I have a Frappucino, please?" a customer came into Starbucks and asked her. Sadie quickly plastered a kind smile on her face and gave him the Frappucino.

"Here you go! That makes three dollars." She held out her had as the customer paid her with three one-dollar-coins. "Thank you so much! Have a great day!" She called after him as he left the cafe.

She sighed and quickly plastered a sweet smile as she saw two customers approaching her again. "Hi, how can I help-" she quickly stopped, surprised. "Drew!?!?"

"Oh, Sadie, how nice to meet you again!" Drew replied sarcastically, in her stuck-up voice. The same good, old Drew from her school.

Sadie just wanted to kick Drew out of the shop right now, but she still wanted her job so she politely asked: "How can I help you?"

Drew's POV

"Ok, we're in front of the Starbucks. What now?" Drew asked into the earpiece.

"Good. Go in and order an Espresso. Keefe's cover-name is Tim. Tim Fane. So, back to the topic. Order Espresso, then sit at a nearby table and I'll explain you this mission, understood?"

"Yes, your honour." Drew took Keefe's hand and dragged him in, plastering a stuck-up smile on her face.

There!

There was Sadie!

"I can see Sadie!" she whispered into the earpiece.

"Good! Now order that espresso! You have the money I gave you before, right, Drew?" Gisela asked.

Drew reassured Gisela that she had everything under control and then she made her way to the counter.

"Don't mess this up or I'll kill you!" she mouthed towards Keefe and he rolled his eyes and gave her a slight nod.

"Hi, how can I help-" Sadie stopped abruptly. "Drew?!?!?!??!"

"Oh, Sadie, how nice to meet you again!" Drew put extra-sarcasm into her voice and held her chin high, as if she was a queen and Sadie wasn't worth her attention.

Sadie clenched her teeth and looked like she just wanted to catapult Drew to Mars. "How can I help you?" she asked with obvious fake-politeness.

"Me and my boyfriend, Tim, want an espresso!" she said, stressing out the word boyfriend.

"Good job!" she heard Lady Gisela mutter in her earpiece.

"Your boyfriend?!?!?" Sadie looked surprised. "Didn't think that you would actually get a boyfriend being as stuck-up as you are right now." Sadie muttered.

Maybe she was hoping that Drew hadn't heard her, but Drew heard her.

"Anyways, yes, Sadie, I got a boyfriend! What about you, Sadie, honey?" Drew raised her eyebrow mockingly.

"I've got a boyfriend, too!" Sadie just turned away, ignoring Drew and started making their Espressos. Drew didn't care, she just quietly waited for her and Keefe's- sorry Tim's Espressos.

After a few seconds, Sadie gave them hot Espressos (Oooof!!! That's a LOT of Espressos!!!).

"Anyways, that makes six dollars, please!" Sadie held out her hand expectantly.

Drew paid her and sat by a nearby table with Keefe, but it was far enough that Sadie couldn't hear them.

"Okay! We have our Espressos! What now?" She asked into her earpiece.

This part is about to get complicated, so:

[Well... Actually, win her trust! You see, Greek gods aren't the only gods that exist. Egyptian gods exist too.]

(Wait, what?!?!!?!?) Keefe whisper-shouted.

Gisela ignored him.

[Anyways, as I was saying, you both must befriend Sadie. Then, if she starts trusting you, maybe she will take you to the twenty-first nome.]

{What's a nome?}

[I was getting to it. So the ancient Egyptians had kings and queens. basically royalties. Some were good and some were bad. And these kings could do magic with the help of the egyptian gods. Anyways. So these kings had children and they had children and their children had children and so on. So, these descendants of these kings can still do magic. Sadie is a descendant of two powerful kings, and so is her brother, obviously. Anyways, befriend her! That is your mission for now!!! I will explain you the next step when you're already at the 21st nome!!! Don't let me down, I'm counting on you!!! Or else, you know the punishment, Drew!]

Drew flinched, she could still remember the pain she had felt as Gisela had come near her with that dagger, that usually haunted her in her nightmares.

[Yes. So, go and try to be friends with her now, don't just sit there being useless!!!]

They quickly got up but everyone stared at them, so they awkwardly sat down again.

So they got up casually after a moment and they made their way to Sadie, who was now heading out, probably because her shift was over.

They both ran up to her.

"Hey, Sadie!" Keefe- sorry Tim- greeted Sadie after they caught up with her.
