Keefe's POV

Keefe gasped for breath.

His mind felt blank and his head was spinning like a ferris wheel.

He was lying somewhere.

In a dark room.

On a bed.

But it wasn't soft.

He tried to sit up but swayed and would've fallen down on the floor if a hand hadn't caught him.

"Where- where am I?" he asked.

His voice sounded like dry paper.

"Shh, shh!" A soft voice comforted him. "You need hydration. Drink this!" He felt the opening of a bottle touch his lips. But he wasn't convinced to drink that. The voice laughed. The voice definitely belonged to a girl. "Don't worry! This is just a bottle of youth. Your body needs liquid."

His mind didn't give him good arguments.

So he drank it.

His mind became a bit clearer.

And all of a sudden, all the memories rushed back to him.

Elysian.

Gisela.

Sophie.

Dagger.

Blood.

Neverseen.

A hand shook him furiously out of his trance.

He was breathing heavily.

"Keefe, are you all right?" the girl asked.

This time, he tried to sit up and it worked.

"I- I think so!" he answered.

He knew he should seem strong in front of other Neverseen members but he was just too tired.

"What's your name?" he asked the girl.

Now he saw that she was hiding under a Neverseen-cape. Obviously.

"You know I can't tell you my real name! But my Neverseen identity is Drew. Drew Tanaka."
