Shadow parks his car at Green Hill Cemetery, in the passenger seat was a bouquet of white roses, he hadn't visited this place since he started dating Sally...why was he with her for this long...when it was clear she was only using him cause of his popularity, his father's reputation of being an undefeated lawyer. He looked off in the distance, before taking out his phone doing this was actually Sonic's idea...it was so that he could coop with the lost of his mother.

He had several missed messages from Sally, and her parents, after what his father said to him, he finally called it off from the toxic chipmunk, it's one thing to manipulate him...but to put her hands and exploit his daughter like that, but then again some that was his fault for not getting involved, and just neglecting Raven, something that Mephiles never did to him or Silver. He took in a deep breath, "I can make it right..." he opens the door to his car and steps out.

He walked over to the only grave stone that actually had a statue and was in the center entrance to the cemetery, a female hedgehog dressed in royal attire, in front of the statue was a picture frame of a female white hedgehog, with long straight quills in the back while the others curl upward, red stripes in her quills, arms that turn into circles on the palm of her hands, and legs, wearing a dress similar to the dress that Link to the Past Zelda wears golden inhibitor rings on her wrists and ankles, a pale tan muzzle and underbelly. On the embedded into the stone was "Victoria Raven Dark"

Shadow places the flowers down at the statue's feet, "I know your probably...upset with me...and for that I'm sorry and I know apologies can't make up for what I did, but I'm going to make it better..." he tells the statue, as he clenches his hands into a fist, but how he was gonna do that he was very unclear but he wasn't going to give up this early.

He walked over to the cemetery gate to leave, he got into his car and drives off, he needed some time to think, he had little money to begin with but it was enough to at least get him started on his mission to become a better person. He just had to make a stop at the Child Protection Center.

When Shadow opened the door to the building, he saw that there were different Specialists with different kids, helping them understand things, help them with their mental health problems...he only looked down something that he could've been to Raven and Shaundre. He asked the specialist as to where he could find Scarlet, they give him directions to the floor and what room number her office was in.

Upon making it to the room, he opened the door, to find the Wolf working, before she looked over at Shadow and her expression changed to being less friendly. "May I help you, Mr. Shadow..."

Shadow nodded and walked up to the desk, "I know you're probably gonna say no...but can you at least give me a second chance, to prove myself that I can a good parent"

Scarlet was taken back by this request, sure she heard it before a parent wanting a second chance...but this was different since the document had already been signed by Sonic so that he was Raven's legal guardian.

"I..." Scarlet started, "The document had already been signed, therefore there is no point in giving you a second chance" she said as she shakes her head "Not that I would want to give you second chance"

"Ugh...I know, but I didn't have any idea Sally would do that to her...that chipmunk literally keeps secrets from me..." Shadow said. "She got herself pregnant...just so I didn't break up with her..." he explained.

"Look...the most that I can do is give you at least a month to for a tour of your new place, you know to see if you have the living requirements, for a child to actually be living with you" Scarlet said.

"If it means you'll give me a second chance" Shadow said.

"Not entirely...It will allow you to see your daughter, and hang out with her..." Scarlet said as she sat back in her seat. "You aren't her legal guardian anymore...Mr. Sonic and his husband are, but seeing that you have admitted your mistakes, I can give you an opportunity to speak to your daughter, and see her"

Shadow looked down, he knew it wasn't gonna be that easy, but maybe it will give him a chance to actually apologize for being a bad parent, and what Scarlet was saying she was only giving Shadow advice, something that he was already gonna do. "I accept..."

Scarlet nodded as she shook Shadow's hand, she watched him leave her office, his words about Ms. Acorn bothered her a little. Either way she was gonna have to let Sonic know about this before the month is over.

Upon leaving the building, he took one last look at some kids who were playing with toys, he felt something in his pocket pulling it out he saw that it was a box of cigarettes, he simply threw them away in the outside garbage...he didn't need them anymore, since they only brought back bad memories, about the pain that he cause to someone that didn't deserve it. He walks back to his car. At least he'll get one apology done.
