Raven was doing her homework, by herself which she was struggling with...but neither of her parents were around to help her, since they left for a bar awhile ago.

A black hedgehog, that looked like Shadow, but is wearing a white dress shirt, and gray dress pants with teal, white and black rocket shoes, teal stripes in his quills, arms and legs, a grayish-tan muzzle. This is Mephiles The Dark, he's Shadow's and Silver's Father, and Raven's Grandfather, as well as a lawyer, who had only lost one case, that being to the Rose Family, besides that one he's one almost every case. He stopped in his tracks when he saw Raven still doing her homework, and it was only eight at night.

"Raven, What are you doing awake?" Mephiles asked the chipmunk, who turned to look at him.

"Uncle Silwer...is asleep at his desk...and I can't find Mommy and Daddy" Raven responded as she looked down at her Math Homework, she's been stuck with the same problem for hours.

Mephiles mentally growled to himself, of course his twenty-three year old and his twenty-one year old girlfriend would go somewhere and stay this late out...he didn't really have much faith in Shadow, not after that jail time made him completely drop out of high-school and Sally being Ms. Popular just graduated even though it was obvious that she was paying a tutor to do her homework. "Okay...well what can I help you with" he said as he pulls out the chair to sit down next to the chipmunk.

"All of it..." Raven responded.

It was only five more hours before Raven finally understood the math, and got her homework completed, do to it being so late, Raven was sent to bed, after she had a quick bath. Mephiles looked down at the math homework, along with the other homework...most of it was finished, because it was just basic spelling and reading, though her handwriting was terrible compared to Shadow, and Sally, who had neat handwriting. Of course Raven didn't really have an education until now, Since Silver was busy with college and taking care of Raven, to get her into this Daycare, and Shadow and Sally didn't care enough. He lets out a sigh as he started to pack up everything for Raven.

"You can't just have a kid...for extra clicks on social media, just to get money" He said to himself as he zips up the backpack and turning off the lights. Heading to bed himself.

By the next Morning, Sally was drinking a plain cup of coffee, that she didn't really appreciate...as well as has a major headache from the bar last night. As for Shadow well he was half demon, so his alcohol tolerance levels were much higher than most mobians and humans, which is why he didn't have a problem with smoking.

Raven had just woken up, with dark purple pajamas. She walked over to Sally. "Not now...Kid, Mommy has a huge hangover and needs silence"

Raven didn't even open her mouth to say something, she goes over to Shadow, who only gave her a glare before turning away, from her.

Silver rubs his eyes as he walked into the kitchen, to see Sally in worst shape than she already was. He didn't have to guess what the two were doing last night.

"Come on Raven...I'll get you a bowl of cereal" Silver said to the chipmunk, who only nodded and followed Silver to the kitchen, mornings were always like this...even on the weekends, Raven never really experienced those special breakfasts, not even an egg, her parents were either busy, or didn't know how to cook at all, she didn't want to bother her grandfather, cause he's always in his office working on court cases, and Silver offers to at least make her cereal, cause of his classes either start early in the morning or around ten in the morning.

"You guys really need to step up in being her parents..." Silver commented as he places the bowl down of Fruity Pebbles for Raven.

Sally only checks herself out in the mirror of her phone to fox her appearance like her make up and hair, While Shadow only glared at Silver.

"...At least...Sonic is a better parent than you guys..." Silver mutters.

"Don't you ever bring up that bastard..." Shadow growled.

"Yeah Silver...do you have any idea how much damage he cause to our lives..." Sally pointed out.

"The last time I checked you guys...Guys ruined his life!" Silver argued back, Raven only kept herself as she was kind of curious about this Sonic mobian.

"That's a Lie Silver and you know it!" Sally snapped back.

It was a long argument between the three, about who ruined who's life. It only ended when Shadow threw the punch at Silver to get him shut up, not that the albino hedgehog hadn't been punch before by his own brother, and it was strong punch...doing enough damage to make both his mouth and nose bleed.

"Don't. Ever. Bring. That. Name. To. My. Face!!" Shadow growled, Silver scoffs as he wipes away the blood from his muzzle.

Raven had fled once the fight started cause of she didn't really enjoy seeing her parents fight, or her uncle fight...sure she was numb to it, cause growing up she witnessed the three arguing, and Shadow and Silver fist fighting, which always led to to Silver bleeding and bruised, do to him having a much weaker punch. She ran into Mephiles office, hugging the darker hedgehog and just started crying.

Mephiles knew what happened, since he could hear Sally shouting and Silver arguing back, at this rate he was gonna have to find Raven a new home, cause it was obvious that she wasn't treated right here. He just wraps his arms around Raven to comfort her.
