Scarlet had Shadow wait in one of the therapy rooms, a small room with a glass window, a small table with chairs, a mat on the ground, two shelves filled with containers of different toys, soft stuffed animals in the corner, a bookshelf filled with age appropriate books, with some beanbags. Shadow was a little big for all this stuff...but he was gonna make an effort to at least make it comfortable for Raven. He quickly took a look at his phone a lot of missed calls and messages from Sally complaining how much she missed him and wanted him back, not like he was going back to her...he turns his phone off and stuffs it back into his pocket.

"Thank you for coming Mr. Sonic...and Hello Raven" The Wolf greeted with a soft smile, the chipmunk only held her stuffed toy close to her chest, the five year old was a little confused as to why she was here, even with Sonic explaining it to her on the way over here, she is wearing a black bunny hoodie, with light purple sleeves and a purple plaid skirt, with black shorts underneath, her purple sneakers and white socks.

Sonic was a little nervous...but he knew that he had to at least let Shadow say goodbye to Raven, after all he couldn't keep running away from his EX, he was wearing a short sleeved t-shirt with a rib cage printed onto it, some baggy jeans and his red sneakers. "A-Are you sure t-this is a good idea" he asked.

"I have a feeling...that he is starting to regret his actions...most parents do when their child had been take into a different custody" Scarlet said as she turned her attention over to the room.

Sonic looked over at the glass to see Shadow sitting at the small table, he never really seen this side of Shadow...he turned his attention over to Raven. "J-Just give him a chance...okay Ray"

Raven smiled and nodded at Sonic, as she took Scarlet's hand and followed her into the small room, where her birth Father was waiting for her.

"Take as long as you need Mr. Shadow" Scarlet said as she let go of Raven's hand to take her leave.

Shadow saw his daughter, he almost wanted to run over to her to give her a hug...but he stops himself from pushing it to far. "Hey Raven...would you, like to pick out what you would like to play?" He said.

Raven blinked as she smiled and nodded, she went over to the shelf of containers and pulled out the box that was label action figures, not that she understood what that meant. Shadow lets out a sigh of relief...he may not have an experience with kids, but from him observing the other Workers with the children here, and reading How To Be a Good Parent books, he's got some idea, but he couldn't help but glance over at Sonic...the scars that was all over his body that were visible cause he was wearing a short sleeve shirt, just made him feel guilty...he caused those scars, the bruising, the trauma.

"So I see that she Raven has been doing well with you and your husband" Scarlet said.

"Oh...Y-yeah...she's a lot of help w-with Starfire...a-and Shaundre l-loves having a-another sister t-that he can play rough with" Sonic admits as he takes his phone back, he turned his attention back over to the glass to see Shadow actually playing with his daughter, something that took him by surprised, he scratches at his arm where his scabs are...he was afraid to asked if he could have some alone time with his EX.

"I can see that you want you to give your EX, a chance to explain himself" Scarlet said as she noticed Sonic's behavior.

"If I-it's not t-to much t-to ask"

Scarlet nodded "It isn't...I can see that you two have a lot of history together, that seems to be resolved, if anything gets to spicy I'll remain to make sure that he doesn't lay a hand on you"

"T-Thank you..." Sonic said, as he stops himself from tearing up.

An hour had passed and Shadow was watching Raven draw, with the crayons that he found in on the drawers.

"Then we watched Papa...chase Star around the house" Raven explained, she was telling stories about her time with her Second Mommy Shadow was kind of glad that she was enjoying herself with his EX...he really missed judge Scourge when he first saw him that day, he was better than he was towards Sonic.

Raven stopped drawing when she looked at Shadow, "Daddy...Do yah weally wuv me?"

Shadow flinches though he was waiting for that question, to come at some point, he felt the tears forming in his eyes as he tried to keep a straight face, but he really couldn't lie to her...now that he didn't have Sally with him, he can be more expressive with his feeling. "Raven...I do...I really do, and losing you was the biggest mistake I ever made"

Raven get up from her seat and walked over to Shadow and gives him a big hug, "I Wuv yah too" she smiled.

Sonic watched as Shadow hugged the chipmunk back, he felt himself start to smile...as he saw how much Shadow had changed. "Scarlet...I-is it to l-late to do a joint c-custody?"

Scarlet looks over at Sonic, before speaking "Well...If thats the case...I'm gonna need Shadow to actually prove to me that he can be a Father, and actually be able to support himself and Raven"

It was another hour and Sonic prepared himself to actually go and talk to Shadow, it's been years since the incident, and it was about time that he confronted his EX. He opened the door walking into the room, Raven had fallen asleep on the beanbags after Shadow read her a story...well she was reading the story to Shadow, the dark hedgehog just helped her with the big words.

Shadow walked over to Sonic, he wanted to see the scars that he caused but he didn't want to scare Sonic, by reaching out his hand.

"S-Sha-"

"I'm sorry...I'm really sorry..." Shadow interrupted Sonic, "I know it's not enough...to fix the damage that I've done to you, a-an-"

Sonic wraps his arms around the ebony hedgehog, which took Shadow by surprise. It was long eight minutes, as Shadow told Sonic how he felt after he left the School, and during the whole time that he was treating the azure male like he was piling of garbage. He just got numb to all feeling, cause of Sally distracting himself from feeling guilty, and manipulating him into feeling sorry for her instead Sonic...then the topic about Shaundre came up, and that he wanted to give the other hedgehog support but Sally convinced him that it wasn't his kid. Then Raven.

"S-She really d-did that?" Sonic asked.

Shadow nodded "H-How could I b-be so stupid..." He stammers as he saw the scars on Sonic's body, he noticed the watch that had been flicking on ever so often with the beat per-second that he he could only assume was to help monitor Sonic's Heart. "As m-much, as I hurt you...I still had feelings for you...but I see that, that green hedgehog had already stole your heart from me, was there for you when I failed"

Sonic looked down at his wedding ring. "Y-You didn't fail...at least y-you admit your m-mistakes" he said as he looked at Shadow. "But t-that doesn't m-mean we c-can't be friends"

Shadow froze a little when he heard that, after everything that he's done to Sonic, he still wanted to be friends. "Even after the pain and suffering I put you through...you still want be my friend"

Sonic nodded, Shadow didn't know what to say, but he accepted the friend request, it might not be what he was hoping but if it meant that he could see Raven more often than he'll take it. Before the two went their separate ways, Scarlet pulled Shadow to the side to talk to him about Sonic's idea about the joint custody.

"Weally? I can have two Daddy's?" Raven said as she almost jumped out of her seat.

Sonic didn't mind her liking that he was girl...it was something that he grew up with, cause of his feminine features, so he was gender neutral about his pronouns...

"Well that is if your Daddy is willing to prove it...seeing how he was with you today, definitely convinced me." Scarlet said.

"I'll do whatever it takes..." Shadow blurted out.

All that Shadow had to do is make sure that he can provide for both himself and Raven, as well as get his own place that will suited for himself and a child. Shadow nodded as he understood what he had to do, as for the days that he would get Raven for that would be up to Sonic and Shadow to decide the days, and how long he can have her for.

But Scarlet has faith in the two, now that they made up after all the trauma they had went through.
