Hailey and Sarah were running around keeping the birds away from the mouse.

"No. No, no, no!"

"Sarah! Hailey!" They heard  Ward.

"We're busy!" Sarah shouted.

"Sorry, Mr. Cameron!" Hailey shouted going after a bird.

"What are y'all doing?" He asked the two girls.

"The burrows filled with water from the surge. The birds are having a field day." Sarah said and Hailey hit one of the birds away.

"The birds have to eat too, girls." Ward said.

"No, it's a mouse genocide out here." Sarah said going after one of the birds.

"No!" Hailey shouted.

"The cycle of life is what it is, sweethearts. Now, come on."

"We can't be a part of it. First they came for the mice, Daddy." Sarah said also we both walk over to him and a women.

"I have a human being..."

"Oh, my God."

"...you two might help."

"Hi." Hailey and Sarah both said to the women.

"I'm Sarah. I'm so sorry." Sarah introduced herself.

"I'm Hailey." Hailey also introduced herself.

"This is Lana, Scooter's wife.  You two were storm prepping with him, right?" Ward asked and the girls nodded.

"Yeah. He helped us latch the cabin on the Druthers." Hailey told the two adults.

"Last night?"

"Yeah."

"Did he go out after that?" Ward asked the two teen girls.

"From here?"

"Yeah."

"No. Are you crazy? There was a hurricane." Sarah said.

"Well, did he say where he was going? Get a phone call or mention anything?" Lana asked.

"No, I'm sorry. He didn't say anything to us." Hailey said and Sarah nodded.

"I'm so sorry. Is he okay?" Sarah asked now worried.

"He's absolutely okay."

"I hope so." Lana said.

"He's hunkered down somewhere. We'll find him." Ward reassured the older women.

"I'm so sorry." Both the girls said.

"Thank you."

"He's hunkered down somewhere with a six-pack." Ward continues to reassure Lana as they walked away.

The girls go back to what they are doing until they eventually go back inside. On the way to Sarah's room the girls pass by Rafe.

"Hey, Hailey."

"Hey, Rafe." Hailey said smiling then the two kiss making Sarah groan in disgust.

"Gross get a room." Sarah said making the two pull away.

"So, what are you two doing today?" Rafe asked.

"Well, all I know is that I actually got to get home and help my family. So, yeah, I'm sorry." Hailey said then hugged Sarah and then gave Rafe another kiss before going home.

Once she got home she see her father.

"Hey, Dad." Hailey said walking in.

"Hey, sweetie." William said.

"Where's mom?"

"Kitchen."

"Okay, thanks." Hailey said then gave her dad a kiss on the cheek then walked to the kitchen.

"Hey, mom. Ooh, cookies." Hailey said taking one.

"Hey, Hailey."

"Can I help with anything?" Hailey asked.

"Um, actually yes. Can you help me clean up the kitchen?" Melissa asked her daughter.

"Of course." Hailey said taking the last bite of the cookie then she starts helping her mom.

Hours go by now and she and her friends were on the Pogues side of the island for a kegger. She and Sarah decide to climb on something to get a higher view of the beach.

"Sarah! Hailey, you two, be careful, okay!" Topper started freaking out.

"What are they doing here?" Kiara asked from across the beach making John B look where she was looking to see the two Kook princesses.

"That's Sarah Cameron and Hailey Marshall. The Kook Princesses. Sarah was Kiara's best friend in the ninth grade, worst enemy in the tenth grade. Hailey was JJ's best friend since childhood but one day, at the age of fourteen she stopped talking to him. I work on their dad's boats, so, you know, I've seen them around."

"What are you two doing?" Topper asked as Rafe walked over with two cups of beers in his hands just letting his girlfriend be.

"Relax, Topper." Hailey said laughing.

"Then that's Topper and Rafe, their not so pleasant boyfriends. Topper actually think Pogues were bred to mow lawns. And Rafe he just acts like he's the boss of everybody."

While Topper helps his girlfriend down Rafe just stands there waiting for Hailey to get down. But, instead of getting down she stays up there.

"Hailey, get down!" Rafe said and Hailey being stubborn acts like she didn't hear him.

"I'm not going to say it again. Get. The. Fuck. Down." Rafe said in a dangerous voice that scared Hailey that this time she obeyed and got down with Topper and Kelce's help.

"I'm sorry." Hailey said when she came face to face with Rafe.

"It's alright, but, don't ever make me repeat myself again. Do you understand me?" Rafe asked.

"Yes." Hailey told her boyfriend satisfying him so he handed her the drink.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome."

Another hour goes by and they were by a fire now when Topper and Rafe decided it was time to go.

"Let's go." They were walking to leave when JJ gets in their way.

"Oh, wait. Hey, hey. Hey, Sarah! Sarah, can I interest you in a tasty Milwaukee beverage?" JJ asked holding out a red solo cup.

"No, thanks." Sarah politely declines.

"Come on, is it not fancy enough for you?" JJ pushed.

"No. We were just leaving." Sarah told him.

"Hey, you know what? I'll take it. I'll-- thank you, man I appreciate it." Topper stepped in.

"That's nice, but I didn't ask you. If you said pretty please, maybe, but you didn't." JJ said.

"Oh, pretty please." Topper mocked.

"Yeah. Hailey?" He now turned to Hailey.

"Pretty please?" Topper continues to mock JJ.

"No, thank you, JJ." Hailey said also being polite.

"You can have it." JJ said before it was thrown into his face by Topper.

"She doesn't want it, you--" Topper started but before a fight could break out John B pushes JJ away as Hailey and Sarah get in front of Topper.

"Okay."

"Let's not do that."

"No, no, no, no."

"You're so funny, man." JJ said.

"Hey."

"Dirty Pogues." Topper said and John B turned around and pushed Topper.

"We're supposed to be incognito, remember?" Pope said confusing Hailey but everything happened so fast she couldn't concentrate.

"Babe, babe, babe, babe--"

"Guys? Guys! Stop it!" Hailey shouted.

"Chill!"

"Hey, John B, don't make me drown you like your old man, all right?" Topper said.

"John B, let it go!" Pope tried but another swing was swung.

"Stop, you guys!" Kiara also tried.

"Babe, do something!" Hailey said turning to Rafe but all he did was take another sip of his beer.

"Topper! Stop!"

"Come on, John B!"

"That's what I'm talking about!" JJ said getting hype up.

"Come on!"

"Yeah, you wanna go?"

"Stop! John B!"

"Oh! Topper!"

"Guys! Please, stop it!"

"Come on, Topper! Let's go! Come on!" John B shouted as Topper got up then Hailey noticed that Rafe had walked away but she ignored him.

"Oh, my god."

"Come on, man!"

"Topper, stop! No!" Sarah shouted.

"JJ! Please do something!" Hailey said with a pleading look.

"No!"

"I know."

"He's drowning him!" Pope announced.

"Topper!"

"Topper! Stop you're going to kill him!" Hailey shouted then her eyes widen when she sees JJ with a gun in his hand he put it up to Topper's head.

"Yeah, you know what that is. Your move, broski!" JJ said as Topper slowly put his hands up letting go of John B.

"JJ! No, don't!" Hailey said scared for her friend.

"Come on. Chill, dude!" Pope said.

"JJ!"

"Chill!"

"Stop! JJ!"

"Put the gun down, JJ, Please don't do this." Hailey said as calmly as she could.

"Did you say somethin', Princess?" JJ acted like he didn't hear Hailey.

"We're good. We're good." Topper calmly said.

"Put the gun down!" Hailey and Sarah shouted.

"All right? Come on, man!" Topper said.

"Kie! Check your psycho ass friend, please?" Hailey said getting the girls attention.

"Okay, everyone, listen up! Get the hell off our side of the island!" JJ shouted shooting the gun up in the air.

"Are you crazy? Idiot!" Pope shouted at his friend.

"Stupid!"

"Sarah! Topper! Let's go!" Hailey said and the three of them ran to Topper's truck and drove away with Rafe, Kelce and Scarlet behind them.

And let's just say Hailey had a hard time getting to sleep that night.
