The next day in the morning as everyone was waking up Mephisto's younger brother ask asked.

Mephisto's Brother : where is Diavolo?"

Barbatos : he wasn't feeling well so he went back to the castle to rest"

Lucifer : is he alright?"

Barbatos : yes I made sure he was"

Mephisto knew it was his fault that Diavolo wasn't feeling well. He remembered what he did last night and knew he must of did something to make him sick.

He also Wondered why would Diavolo let him bite him again knowing the consequences of it. But he already knew the answer as to why Diavolo would risk it.

During this Lucifer looked at Mephisto and could see the look on his face and figured this involved him somehow so he decided once he got back he would go talk to Diavolo until Barbatos ask.

Barbatos : Lucifer I wanted to ask you if you could go check on Diavolo for me?"

Lucifer : I'll do that"

Barbatos : thank you. We'll be fine here"

After this Lucifer left to go see how Diavolo was doing.

Later once at the castle Lucifer went to Diavolo's room and open the door and saw him just resting sitting up in bed looking very weak and sick and also looking at an IV pole that was next to him with a blood bags hook to it and the IV was connected to his wrist.

Lucifer  : .....what did you do?"

Diavolo : .....I did what I had to..."

Lucifer : and that was?"

Diavolo : he was losing control again. I couldn't get him to stop. So I allowed him to feed off me and take as much as he needed"

Lucifer : looks like he was close to draining you!?"

Diavolo : no no I'm fine....when he was a child he needed blood and it was before I made something to replace that...."

Lucifer : so you used yourself?"

Diavolo : I had to....I did it so much that It was starting to run me dry and make me sick. I knew doing so again could hurt me but it's my job as a father to do whatever I can to help my kids. Even if it hurts me.... I'm willing to do anything for them"

Lucifer : and you had the nerve to scold me.... anyway is it getting bad?"

Diavolo : yes.....but I don't know what to do. And there's a chance the longer this goes on he could accidentally kill you."

Lucifer : I understand"

Diavolo : please be careful"

Lucifer : you still want to keep this a secret?"

Diavolo : yes. No one can one they are the last two alive....that I let them...."

Lucifer : Mephisto doesn't seem happy you did this"

Diavolo : because he's aware of the dangers. But I will be fine"

Lucifer :....."

A few days later Diavolo was doing much better. And since that night Mephisto was completely ignoring Diavolo and Lucifer and almost everyone. Which worried Diavolo because then he couldn't keep tabs if he was doing alright besides seeing him at Rad.

And Lucifer was also concerned. He was wondering why he was so concerned also. His relationship with Mephisto was confusing honestly.

They were only pretending to be together for Mephisto's sake. Lucifer was letting Mephisto feed off him and this was sonly suppose to last until they could fix his problem and the pact.

But also every time they are together they almost always end up sleeping with each other and they never talk about it there's no lead up or anything.

Mephisto feeds they sleep together and then they just go on about their lives barely ever mentioning it.

But during the few weeks or however long it's been that this was going on. He found himself being more and more worried about him.

And the more he thought about it. The more he realizes his confusions about his feelings and thoughts about Mephisto started way before that one night.

Anyway he quickly stop thinking about it because he didn't want to. All they had was a werid thing going on. Nothing more nothing less.

Lucifer then thought about how a few Rad students and his brothers were going to be at the bunny club taking shifts again. He got out of it because he was busy with other work.

But he heard Mephisto was actually going to be working one of the shifts so thought this would be a good opportunity to find out how he's doing and to mock him and the rest of his brothers for no reason at all.

Later in the night time Mephisto was at the bunny club in a uniform and was mad about it and barely doing his job and standing away from everyone. Not like anyone was actually going near him.

Anyway Solomon and MC then walked over there who were also working there and MC said.

MC : don't look so grumpy you look cute!"

Mephisto : I look like an idiot"

Solomon : I guess demons still won't go near you because of that mark?"

Mephisto : for once I like that because I don't want to be here. I'm only doing this because I also have to do a story about this.

MC : is that why you have Mammon taking pictures of everyone?"

Mephisto : yes. We made a deal I rig some things for him. he helps me with work I don't want to do"

MC : sounds like a good deal. Anyway I think you have a break n-

Mephisto immediately dropped the tray he had and walked away.

He then walked into one of the private booths and sat down. And decided to check something on his phone while nibbling on one of the carrots he had on him.

But then suddenly Lucifer walked in and said looking at Mephisto smiling sarcastically

Lucifer : you look ridiculous"

Mephisto : so you came just to say that?"

Lucifer : yes and also to check on you"

Mephisto : why? If I need you I'll go to you"

Lucifer : it's been almost 3 weeks. I cannot be concerned about you?"

Mephisto : why do you even care anyway? If it wasn't for this damn situation I am in you wouldn't be talking to me. "

Lucifer : I probably would of found a reason or you would of gave me one"

Mephisto : I can handle this by myself. I don't need help from the likes of you...."

Lucifer : did something happen? You know how dangerous this is and now you just want to handle this on your own when you clearly can't?"

Mephisto : shut up Lucifer!"

Lucifer : it's the truth. This isn't something you can handle on your own. And I said I would help you so I will continue to do that"

Mephisto : do you have a death wish or something?"

Lucifer then sat down and asked understanding why Mephisto hasn't been coming to him.

Lucifer : your afraid of hurting me aren't you?"

Mephisto  : what!? No I could care less if I hurt you!"

Lucifer : what about killing me?"

Mephisto : .....I don't care about you.... that's not why I've been ignoring you!"

Lucifer : so you admit you have been ignoring me?"

Mephisto : Shut up!!"

Mephisto yelled standing up seeming annoyed and mad but Lucifer was unfazed by it.

Lucifer : I doubt you could really do any damage to me that could really effect me. "

Mephisto : ..... just go! I don't need your help! I don't want you around! I hate you! I hate being around you! I hate everything about you!"

Lucifer :.....you know when your mad I can almost respect you"

Lucifer kinda liked Mephisto being rude to him but he wasn't sure if it was a werid psychological defect or a werid sexual thing most likely the last one.

Lucifer : why can't you just admit that's why you been avoiding me. Especially when you need to feed because your afraid of taking too much and hurting me or worse?"

Mephisto : if that was true! that would mean I care about you! Which I don't!.....you also never answered my question why you care!"

Lucifer : .......even I don't know the answer to that. To why I care but I do. I've been more worried than anything recently about you."

Mephisto : ......I.... well stop it...."

Mephisto wasn't sure what to do or say about Lucifer. He hated that Lucifer was worried about him hated that he cared also.

Anyway he then tried to leave but then Lucifer grabbed his hand and pulled him over. Which made him fall perfectly in lap facing him.

Mephisto and Lucifer just looked at each other for a few seconds. Mephisto looking flustered and Lucifer looking uncertain.
But then Lucifer put one of his hands under Mephisto's chin and pulled him in for a kiss.

And they did kiss and continue to do so......
