*Artemis's POV*

We all stood around Safia, waiting for any signs of movement. I stared at her closed eyes, waiting for them to open. I gazed at her closed lips, waiting for them to emit a sound.

It had been 2 weeks. 2 weeks, she had missed all the crime fighting. 2 weeks, she had been left out of all the league fun. 2 weeks, she had basically vanished.

This was the time we usually checked up on her. We had taken her to the safe room in the back of the headquarters... just to be safe. She was hooked onto an I.V. that gave her medicine and kept her stable. We had learned that she was very unstable in this kind of unconscious state.

Suddenly, he heart monitor sped up and her eye lids began to flutter. They opened partially, not enough for me to see her eye color, then shut due to the harsh light filling the empty room.

"Safia!", M'gann exclaimed.

She winced and replaced her blank expression with a confused grimace. She turned her head from side to side, obviously trying to feel for something. Her head stopped in its tracks as everyone stared, her eye lids not budging.

"Where are my glasses?!", Safia questioned in a panicked tone, breaking the long, murderous silence.

"Well umm, they kind of froze... And cracked in half... ", replied KF timidly.

"Why so secretive about your identity, hmmm?", Robin interrogated.

"Why the hell am I restrained, hmmm?", Safia asked, mocking Robin's first question, "And why are they metal? I thought we only had leather ones."

"Oh... y-you ripped the leather ones... Well I should say froze and shattered. Remind me never to slip under your sheets when I'm in the mood", Wally smirked.

"WALLY!", M'gann scolded.

"What?! Did you expect me to already know that she was violent in bed?", he asked crossing his arms.

"WALLY!", We all shouted, including Safia.

"You do realize I'm right here... right Wally?", Safia raised an eyebrow without opening her eyes.

"Of course I do babe! I realized that a looong time ago! By the way, you look damn fine in pajamas!", Wally smirked checking Safia out.

"You just never stop do you?", I asked blankly.

"Nope! Unless you beg me to!"

"GROSS!!", Robin squealed.

"Ummm... Hey guys! Remember me? The person strapped to a bed who needs to get UNSTRAPPED?!", Safia shouted, clearly getting frustrated.

"Oh... Yea, sorry", Superboy said, walking over to the side of Safia's bed. He gripped the left restraint until the two ends separated with a click. Though it took a few minutes to do each one, he did the same to the right and ankle restraints. Holding her arm, he took the I.V. needle between his fingers and pulled it out of Safia's skin. She gave a deep hiss through her clenched teeth.

"Thank the gods! IM FREE!!", Safia exclaimed throwing her arms into the air.

Safia stood up from her temporary, hospital-like bed, not opening her eyes, and instead using her hands as guides. She held her arms out straight in front of her as if she were a zombie. Walking in a straight line, she first reached M'gann, feeling around her cloaked body until she got to her face. She realized it was indeed the Martian girl, and moved to her right. Next up was Wally. She didn't need to feel around to much. Right when her fingertips touched his chest, he whistled. Last was Robin. She felt her way up his uniformed body until she reached his face. Navigating her way around his facial features, she reached his tinted sunglasses and yanked them off his eyes.

"AHH! MY IDENTITY!", Robin yelped shielding his eyes from the team. He pulled an extra pair from his pocket and stuck them on the bridge of nose. By the time he opened his eyes, Safia had already placed hers on.

*Safia's POV*

I rested the stolen sunglasses on the bridge of my nose and opened my eyes. Finally my identity was safe again! I scanned around the room until I got to my bed. The sight was horrifying.

The wrist and ankle restraints had been frozen solid. No wonder it took Supey so long to undo them. The white mattress had turned a frosty blue and the sheets had grown small ice crystals. The soft pillow had been frozen so badly that it was as stiff as an ice pack. Half of the I.V. Tube had been frozen, but still let liquids through. The bottom corner of the heart rate monitor had become cracked and frosted over. Lastly, there was a gigantic icy patch of blue crystals and frost on the ceiling.

"W-what happened in here?!", I asked horrified.

"Well... While you were... Away... Uhhh... You were... Ummm... Well... I guess you could say-", started Artemis.

"You totally went all berserk and froze a bunch of stuff in your sleep", Robin stated blankly.

"And my uniform?", I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Well.. Ummm.... You see.. It kind of... Like... It-", started Artemis again.

"Apparently during your little explosion, your uniform froze, and well... Ummm... Fell.. Off", said Robin awkwardly.

I could feel my eyes practically fly out of their sockets and my cheeks catch on fire.

"But don't worry! I temporarily blinded the boys!", said M'gann proudly, "And Artemis.."

I ran towards the green girl at full speed and gripped the collar of her uniform, slamming her against the wall. Her eyes filled with terror.

"Swear to me that you will never tell ANYONE what you saw, SWEAR!!" I screamed in her face, then realized what a monster I was being. What a villain I was being. I slowly let her out of my grasp and crumbled to the ground. I felt like I could cry all five oceans.

"I'm sorry...", I whispered, "For everything."

I stood up and ran out of the room. Each tear that left my eyes turned to pure ice. I entered my room and slammed my door shut behind me, wishing the floor would open up and swallow me forever.

I should have never doubted the villain inside me...

Robin was right...
