*Safia's POV*

"Uh...we don't have a net." I looked around the very empty looking island.

"Oh don't worry! I packed one in the bio ship." M'gann smiled.

I shrugged, as M'gann and Wally went inside the Bio ship to retrieve the net. Wally quickly sped out and built up the net, Then sped back in grabbing the ball.

"I call being a team captain!!" Wally shouts excitedly.

"No way! I should be a team captain!" Robin protested.

"I'm a better team captain!" Wally shouts. "I even have the ball!"

"Not anymore!" Robin quickly jumped up and snatched the ball from Wally's hands.

"Why don't you both be the team captains?" Superboy grumbles.

"Oh yeah!" They both boomed.

Everyone else on the team simultaneously facepalmed, loud smacks echoing throughout the empty beach.

"I chooseeeeee" Wally started. "M'gann!" She had a cheesy smile plastered on his face. I hear Artemis sigh from behind me.

"Hmm. Superboy." Robin smirked.

"Hey no fair!" Wally whined.

"You should have picked him first!" Robin mocked.

"Fine then i'll take Artemis!" Wally huffed, and Artemis dragged her feet over in his side.

"Kaulder." Robin continued.

"I'll just go sit out" I inquired, walking over to a nearby tree to sit down.

But I felt a fast wind behind me, and a hand was placed on my shoulder.

"Come on you have to play!" I turned around to see Wally giving me a small smile.

"But I don't even know how to play." I pouted.

You'll catch on! It's easy!" He smiled even wider. "Besides my team is way better than Rob's team over there"

"Oh! It is so on!" Robin hissed.

"You in?" Wally looked down at me.

"I suppose." I rolled my eyes walking over to Artemis and M'gann.

Rob's Team got the ball first. Robin started with a overhand serve, successfully making the ball glide over the net, the ball coming right to Wally. Wally set the ball up high and close to the net. Thinking it would touch the ground I ran to the ball, unaware that M'gann was going for it to. She soon noticed that we were going to collide, then i realized too. She made herself transparent, and fazed through me, causing me to fall. Then I felt something bounce off my head. I rolled over, groaning, i look to my left and see Wally, Artemis, and M'gann cheering for me. I look over to my right and see Robin, Superboy, and Kaulder staring at the ball, confused.

"Go Frost!" Artemis came to my side, and helped me up.

"No Fair!" The bird boy complained.

"We got that fair and square!" M'gann shouts in their direction.

"Whatever" Superboy huffed.

"Actually I think that was fair." Kaulder chimed in.

"Kaulder!" Rob yelled in frustration.

"Hey Frosty, you wanna serve?" Wally asked me, throwing the ball at me.

"Uhh. I shouldn't." I gulped, catching the ball.

"Do it Frost! I insist!" M'gann smiled at me.

"Alright..." I say going to the right corner.

As I throw the ball up, getting ready to hit it. I heard a loud rustling in the bushes. My head whipped to where I thought I heard the rustling.

"What?" Artemis looked at me.

"None of you heard it?" I questioned, only to see everyone shaking their heads.

'Whatever' I thought. Probably some small animal playing in the bushes, or I'm just hearing things. I hoped. I threw the ball up once more, but I was interrupted again. This time a ear shattering crack was heard. This time everyone looked in that direction.

"What was that?" Wally chimed.

"I have no idea." Robin muttered.

We all stood there, looking at the line of trees, confused. Until someone popped out of the bush. Wearing a green jacket, with question marks over it. A purple mask concealing his eyes. No it couldn't be...The Riddler. We ran into each other about a year ago. It wasn't a good run in either.

"Oh well isn't it the justice leagues little brats!" He smirked.

"What do you want!" Superboy growled.

"Riddle me this bird boy." He smirked at us, pulling out a cane like thing with large question mark on the end.
