*Safia's POV*

I sat on my cold, dusty floor, staring at the blank wall in front of me, wondering what I was going to have for dinner. I used to make trades with my trusty pal Two-Face.i bring him his valuables, and he gives me edible food in exchange. But of course Batman, and his annoying sidekick Bird Boy got in the way of that.

I slowly got up from the rough, sticky floor, and brushed a piece of my brown wavy hair, out of my eyes.

Turns out Batman and Bird Boy mess up a lot of things for me. I was forced to leave my old place because of their stupid reasons, I can't go where I used to trade goods for my clothing, and now this? Now because of them I no longer have food! I got so mad I turned everything with in a few foot raids of me, into solid ice.

A sudden loud knock on the door interrupted my train of thought. On my way over to the door, I quickly grabbed my pair of tinted sunglasses, and put them on my face to cover my pale blue eyes. As I made it over to the aged looking door, I grabbed the rusted handle and begun to turn it, it almost sounded... Crunchy. I pulled the door open, and a loud screech soon followed.

The door was now fully opened, but no one was standing on my door step. I peeked my head out to confirm that no one was really there. I looked to my left, nothing, just the same run down looking hallway. Then I look to my right to see a green out line of a women, with red hair... Poison Ivy. She stood there with both of her vine covered hands on her hips. She had her right hip cocked outwards, and she had a smirk upon her face.

"What do you want?" I sighed.

" I need you for something... I hear your quite useful." She crossed her arms.

"Whatever it is, my answer is no." I rolled my eyes.

"But you you don't even know what I was going to ask of you!" She pouted.

"Your right, I don't know what you want. All I know is that it's bad and frankly, I don't want to be a part of it.", I said blankly.

"You have it all wrong sweet girl, you see, all I want is a Rose Quartz from the hall of Justice. It would make a beautiful addition to my garden." She said innocently.

"My answer is still no." I smirked.

"Are you sure about that?" She asked, her innocent look turning into rage.

"Can't you just go by your self?" I asked getting annoyed.

"I'm afraid not sweet girl" Ivy said devilishly.

"I'm not going with you and that's final! I'm not going to get caught by the Bats, committing a crime!" I threw my arms up in frustration.

"You won't have a choice deary" she hissed.

"Watch me." I turned around and started walking away.

As I kept walking further and further away, it got harder and harder to walk. It was like I was dragging weights. I looked down at me feet and saw that they were covered in vines. I looked up and Ivy, who was caught up in a fit of her own laughter. I took the opportunity to start to shoot at her. I kept on missing her for some reason. I finally got one good shot, but it only hit her feet, pinning her to the ground.

She then stopped laughing and looked down At her feet and huffed. "No fair!"

I have her a smirk in return, which just made her more mad. She threw out her arms, which made more thorny vines begin to wrap there selves around my body, restricting my ability to move.

"Your going to come with me!" Ivy beamed at me.

"No! I'm not!" I yelled in return.

"Yes you are!" She hissed.

She clenched her fists, causing the vines to get tighter around me.

"I'd rather die." I sputter out.

"So be it" she shrugged.

The vines got tighter and tighter, cutting off the air flow in my body. I started to gasp for air. Darkness started to come over me. But all of a sudden I could breathe again. All the vines disappeared, and I fell to the cold ground. I slowly opened my eyes, and saw Ivy on the ground. I saw a big dark figure hand cuff her to the nearest flag pole.

The dark figure walked over to me and grabbed my arm and forcefully pulled me up to my feet I started to shake my arm to get away from him.

"Don't struggle." the figure said.

The voice sounded for familiar, I looked up and saw the face of the dark Knight himself.

I sighed and loosened up, he led me into a strange alleyway. He walked up to and old looking telephone box and opened it up and brought me in side with him.

everything flash white and I heard a loud voice "Batman a 01 "

I was all of a sudden it in a big open area with a group of teens looking at us with confused expressions on their faces.

"Team, meet the newest member of your team frost. "Batman spoke.

"What! "The teens and I spoke in unison.

"I've been observing her for a while now, she has proven herself worthy to be a member on this team. Poison IV offered to take her to rob the hall of justice. But she she declined. Even with her life on the line." Batman reasoned.

"Good enough for me "a kid with a red and yellow suit spoke, and super spread over to me and excitedly shook my hand.

"The names kid flash by the way "he smirked at me.

A young boy about my age rushed in "Batman! I got your message what is it? "He spoke loudly.

I turned around and saw the bird boy standing there, just a few feet away from me. He slowly turned his head in my direction, and furrowed his brows.

"You?!" He almost yelled.

"You." I narrowed my eyes at him.

Hey people's! This is my first chapter to my new series! Believe me! Not all the chapters to this book with be this long, sometimes they might be longer, but this chapter is one of the longer ones. Anyways I hope you guys like my new book!
