THIS WILL BE A SHORT CHAPTER, BECAUSE THE WEDDING WAS SO LONG
__________
REYNA LET OUT a breath as she and Sebastian entered into Delaware, yet another state on the journey to wherever they were going. She knew they were going overseas, but she didn't understand why they were on the road rather than in the air. She didn't particularly mind it, though. What mattered was that she was with him, and that was the way she wanted things to stay.
"I'd appreciate it if you told me where we were going, Sebastian," Reyna spoke up as she turned her attention away from the window and to him.
He had a grin on his face, though he didn't look at her; his focus remained on the road in front of him. "We're going to Baltimore, Rey."
Reyna made a face. "Why Baltimore?"
"To catch our plane," Sebastian said matter-of-factly.
"You do know there's an airport in New York, right?"
Sebastian chuckled and nodded. "Mhm."
"Then how come we're not in New York?"
Sebastian glanced over at her, his blue eyes glistening with love as he gazed at her. "Because of our jobs, we're always on planes, and it drives me crazy. I wanted to take a road trip like normal people do, and I wanted to do it with you, despite the fact it's only four hours."
Reyna smiled widely and grabbed his hand, intertwining their fingers together. "I love you, you know that, right?"
"I would hope so, otherwise that wedding we spent so much money on practically means nothing," Sebastian chuckled as he gave her hand a gentle squeeze.
"Thank you for being a part of my life, Sebastian," Reyna spoke quietly as she looked at him.
"Thank you for letting me," he replied with a soft smile.
Reyna let out a breath and laid her head down onto his extended arm, her hold on his hand never faltering. "Can you promise me something?"
"Of course."
"I need you to promise me that whatever happens, you'll always stay," Reyna said. "You have to promise me that no matter how hard it gets, you'll never leave."
"I'd never in a million years think of leaving you, Reyna—not you, or Theo, or our other little one," Sebastian assured her. "All three of you are my entire life. There's nothing in this world that could ever take me away from you."
Reyna smiled and fixed her gaze out the window. "I was hoping you'd say that."
Sebastian chuckled and squeezed her hand again. "I promise, Rey—you have nothing to worry about."
"Good," Reyna said. "I love you, Sebastian Stan."
"And I love you, Reyna Stan."
