"Where is he? Why isn't he answering my call!?" Naira said trying to call him again.

"What happened Naira?" Gayu and Mishti entered.

"Kuch nahi Gayu di. I was just trying to call Kartik, but he is not answering my call." Naira said.

"Don't worry di, bff might be busy, he will call you once he gets free!" Mishti replied, and soon Naira's phone rang.

"Finally he called!" Naira said looking at her phone with a smile but that didn't last for long.

"Hello Kartik, where were you? I was calling you since so long!" Naira spoke without seeing who it was.

"Naira its not Kartik, it's me, Naksh!" He spoke

"Oh sorry bhai, I didn't see who it was!" Naira said as her smile faded away.

"Naira, actually, Kartik is in the hospital right now..."

"What? Why? Kya hua Kartik ko?" Naira said panicking

"He met with an accident, come to hospital fast!" Naksh said and Naira kept the call and ran downstairs.

"Naira, where are you going?" Akshara asked as she saw Naira.

"Mumma, I will come in some time. I am going to the hospital to see Kartik!" Naira said as she went towards her car.

Soon she reached the hospital and asked in the reception for Kartik and went towards the ward.

"Bhai, how is Kartik? What happened to him? Can I meet him please?" Naira asked Naksh.

"You can go inside Naira!" Naksh replied and she went inside.

As she walked inside, she couldn't see Kartik in such a condition, tears streamed down her eyes as she went towards him.

"Naira!" Kartik turned towards her.

"What is wrong with you huh? Can't you take care of yourself?" Naira shot

"You are there for that na!" Kartik smiled

"Kartik! I am serious here! I'll kill you if you play any stunts like this ever again!" Naira said.

"Naira, I am absolutely fine! I can go home also now. It was not so serious!"

"Accha ji?" Naira hit his arm playfully.

"At least smile now?" Kartik said and she smiled slightly.

"Naira? And Kartik? What happened to you?" Suvarna asked as both of them entered the house

"He had met with a small accident aunty, he is fine now don't worry!" Naira answered.

"What? How? What did the doctor say kittu?" Suhasini asked.

"I am fine dadi!" Kartik said hugging her as she smiled.

Soon Naira got a call from Akshara

"Hello mumma!"

"How is Kartik now? What did the doctor say Naira?"

"Mumma he is fine now! Me and bhai just bought him home." Naira said.

"Aunty, I will take a leave now. Naira, are you coming or will you stay back?" Naksh asked.

"I will come with you bhai!"

"Naira, Naksh, have lunch and go na!" Suvarna insisted.

"Next time surely aunty! Will go home now." Naksh said.

"And you better take care of yourself!" Naira said Kartik as they both came out towards the car.

"Thode pyaar se boldo na!" Kartik said pouting.

"If you pull such stunts, this is what you get!" She said hitting her arm as she sat in the car.

"Naira bhi na!" Kartik smiled thinking about her.

He went to his room and opened his phone to see missed calls from Naira. Her phone screen had Naira's pictures on it. As he looked at her, unknowingly he smiled. He opened his laptop and scrolled through her photos.

"Kartik what is happening to you! Why do you keep thinking about her everytime? Why does she make you feel different everytime she is around you?" Kartik said to himself.

"Who is this she, Kartik?" Keerti entered and he closed his laptop.

"Huh? what? No no, I was doing some work!" Kartik lied.

"You know you can't lie to me Kartik, so you better tell me!" Keerti said folding her arms.

"Arrey sacchi! It's no one!"

"Okay then!" She said and walked out with a smile on her face.

"Kartik you have to do something! I just can't stop thinking about her! Naira!" He said

Days passed by and there was no day when Kartik didn't think about her. He had started to realize that this was something more than friendship. He knew he loved her, more than anyone else.

"Princess!" Naitik and Akshara came in.

"Haa papa?"

"Naira, we want to talk to you about something really important!" Akshara said.

"What happened mumma? Is everything okay?" Naira asked.

"Yes beta! It's just that, we want you to get married." Akshara said making Naira shocked.

"Princess, he is a very good person. You can meet him once, I am sure you will agree to us as well!" Naitik said

"But mumma, papa..."

"Princess do you love someone else? If yes then tell us princess!" Naitik asked.

She suddenly thought of Kartik unknowingly but brushed off her thoughts.

"No papa, that's not the thing. It's just that I don't know if I am ready for this!" Naira said.

"We can understand beta! No problem, take your time, and tell us about your decision later!" Akshara said and both of them went out.

Naira couldn't understand what to do. She was confused. All she could think of was Kartik. She wanted to tell him about this, and talk to him. She called him.

"Kartik..." Naira said as soon as she answered

"Naira I want to meet you right now! It's very important, I want to tell you something!" Kartik said.

"Kartik, even I want to tell you something!" Naira said.

"Can we meet now? I will send the location, and I will be there in 15 minutes!" Kartik said

"Okay!" She replied and kept the call.
