"Hey! Are you-" Jonah pauses, doing a double-take as he stares at someone that definitely isn't Aurora standing in the doorway. "I'm sorry, I'm looking for Aurora. Am I at the right apartment?"

"So," Mark begins, ignoring the question and doing his best to sound intimidating as he crosses his arms. "You're Jonah?"

"Uh, yeah?"

"I want no funny business and Aurora home by eleven," he states, glancing over the other boy's outfit and the bouquet of red roses in his hand. "And for future reference, she prefers white roses over red ones."

"Mark! Stop trying to scare him away," Aurora reprimands, coming into view and graciously accepting the flowers. "And please put these in water. I love you, and don't get into trouble without me."

Not giving him any chance to reply, Aurora shuts the door and turns to her date, smiling apologetically.

"I'm sorry about him," she giggles. "I'd say he's not always like that but he really is."

Jonah, on the other hand, could hardly register anything she just said. He couldn't believe the girl standing before him had actually agreed to going on a date with him.

"Don't worry about it," he finally says, realizing too late he had been staring and rubbing the back of his neck nervously. "You look gorgeous."

She ducks her head, using her hair as a curtain to hide the blush rising up her cheeks. Most boys didn't have the ability to make her blush so easily, and it left her flustered.

"You cleaned up pretty nicely yourself. I might just have to steal that beanie from you," she teases. "So, where are we going?"

"How do you feel about the zoo?"

"He smiled at me!" Aurora all but squeals, pointing at one of the monkeys sitting near the glass of the enclosure. "Did you see him?"

Jonah can't help but to chuckle, not regretting his date location in the slightest. Seeing how excited it made Aurora, he knew it was worth it, no matter how ridiculous the prices were.

The ride to the zoo had been filled with both of them singing along to the radio, and a constant conversation during the commercials. Everything seemed to flow so easily with Jonah, and Aurora found herself quickly opening up to him.

She had been practically beside herself with joy when they reached their destination, running from enclosure to enclosure with her hand tightly clasped in Jonah's to drag him along. He could feel his heart skip a beat each time her eyes lit up and a smile spread across her face, and knowing he was responsible for that happiness made him want to do anything within his power to keep her that happy.

"Can we go see the penguins now?" Aurora asks hopefully, turning to him with pleading eyes. "They're my favorite."

"If that's what you want to see," he instantly agrees, ignoring the fact that the penguins are on the other side of the zoo. "Lead the way."

The girl spins on her heel, instantly taking off at a sprint with her hand tucked in Jonah's to tug him along. When they reached the penguin habitat, she was instantly pressed up against the glass barrier, enthralled by the tiny birds.

"Hey buddies," she coos, catching the attention of one that had been swimming around. "You are the cutest thing I've seen all day, right after my date, of course."

She shoots Jonah a quick wink before becoming distracted again.

"You know," she ponders aloud, speaking more to the penguins than to any of the people around her. "If I didn't hate being cold so much, I would totally take one of you guys home with me."

While she's holding a conversation with the animals, Jonah slips away without her noticing and wanders into the nearby gift shop. When he walks back out with a large stuffed penguin in his arms, Aurora is no longer where he left her.

Glancing around, Jonah momentarily freaks out before catching a glimpse of her hair in front of the newfound crowd pressed up against the barrier. Nudging his way through, the boy's jaw drops at the sight before him once he reaches the front.

Aurora wasn't at the front of the crowd; she was the reason for the crowd. Sitting cross-legged on a pile of snow and holding a penguin in her lap was none other than his date.

"I had fun tonight," Aurora states, clutching her stuffed penguin and looking up at Jonah as the two stand at her apartment door, neither wanting the night to end. "I'd say we should do this again but I don't think it's possible to get banned from the zoo twice."

After Aurora's close-up encounter with the penguins, she and Jonah had quickly been removed from the premises. Not wanting to take her home so soon, Jonah insisted they go out to eat as well, and they soon found themselves in Chipotle.

They stayed until the restaurant closed, learning more about each other - and Aurora teasing him for being in a boy band.

"Maybe next time we can get banned from an aquarium," Jonah suggests with a chuckle, finding himself leaning towards her.

"Mr. Marais," Aurora gasps daintily, her teasing smirk appearing. "Are you asking me out again?"

"As a matter of fact, Miss Daniels, I am."

"In that case-"

The front door slams open, effectively cutting off Aurora's response and causing both teens to jump away from each other.

"There's the lovebirds!" Mark coos as four other boy's appear behind him. One boy she recognized as the one who dragged Jonah away earlier that day. "You're cutting it a little too close to curfew, don't you think?"

"Do you mind telling me who is in our apartment?" Aurora questions, raising an eyebrow as he grabs her wrist and drags her inside.

"Not at all," he grins, throwing an arm around her shoulder and pointing to each teen. "That Corbyn, Zach, Jack, and Daniel. They're the members of Why Don't We. And in case you don't already know, Jonah is the fifth member."

Corbyn bows dramatically as he's introduced but the other three boys simply wave, causing her to chuckle.

"You must be Aurora!" Zach exclaims. "We could not get Jonah to shut up about you today."

"We heard all about-" Daniel pauses to clear his throat and deepens his voice in an attempt to sound like the boy. "The gorgeous girl that I bumped into at Barnes and Noble and OH MY GOD, SHE GAVE ME HER NUMBER!"

Aurora can't help but to laugh as Jonah blushes deeply and mutters a quiet 'shut up' to his friends. Before she can walk over to him, she finds herself being dragged to the other side of the room by Corbyn, with the other three following closely behind.

"So, I just thought I'd warn you," the blond begins. "If you're dating Jonah, you'll be seeing us a lot. Whether he's around or not."

"It's four for the price of one," Jack chimes in.

"But how did you guys find my apartment in the first place?"

"We read yours and Jonah's conversation earlier," Zach explains, as though it's the most casual thing in the world. "He left his phone on the island."

"Jonah said something about sharing a house with you guys," Aurora comments, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "If you want full access to my home, I want full access to yours as well."

"I already got you a house key," Corbyn says, pointing towards the kitchen. "It's on your counter."

"We should probably be leaving," Daniel decides, checking something on his phone. "We're supposed to be at the studio early in the morning."

Going back over to where Jonah and Mark are, Daniel explains the situation to them. Bidding Aurora goodbye, the four boys follow Mark outside, leaving Aurora and Jonah alone.

"I'm sorry about them," Jonah apologizes, scratching the back of his neck. "They're a handful."

"It's fine," she waves it off, stepping closer to him. "Something tells me we'll get along nicely. Besides, as long as you're okay with me raiding your kitchen, I'm okay with them raiding mine."

"You're welcomed at our house anytime," he offers, wrapping his arms around her waist.

"I know," the girl can't help but to tease him, her hands going around his neck. "Corbyn made that very clear."

Just as their lips are about to meet, Aurora yanks the beanie off of his head with a triumphant grin and spins out of his grasp.

"And yes, I would love to go out with you again."
